ਭਲੇ ਸੂਰ ਗਾਜੇ ॥੧੨॥
bhale soor gaaje |12|The trumpets sounded and the warriors thundered.12.
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੰ ਕ੍ਰੁਧੰ ॥
kripaalan krudhan |Kripal Chand got angry
ਕੀਯੋ ਜੁਧ ਸੁਧੰ ॥
keeyo judh sudhan |Kirpal Chand, in great fury, made a great fight.
ਮਹਾਬੀਰ ਗਜੇ ॥
mahaabeer gaje |Maha Veer used to roar
ਮਹਾ ਸਾਰ ਬਜੇ ॥੧੩॥
mahaa saar baje |13|Great heroes thundered, while using dreadful weapons.13.
ਕਰੋ ਜੁਧ ਚੰਡੰ ॥
karo judh chanddan |Such a great war took place
ਸੁਣਿਯੋ ਨਾਵ ਖੰਡੰ ॥
suniyo naav khanddan |Such a heroic battle was fought that all the people of the world living in nine quarters, knew it.
ਚਲਿਯੋ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਾਹੀ ॥
chaliyo sasatr baahee |(Kripal Chand) walked forward wielding the weapon.
ਰਜੌਤੀ ਨਿਬਾਹੀ ॥੧੪॥
rajauatee nibaahee |14|His weapons wrought havoc and he exhibited himself as a true fajput.14.

ਕੋਪ ਭਰੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਬੈ ਕੀਨੋ ਜੁਧ ਉਪਾਇ ॥
kop bhare raajaa sabai keeno judh upaae |All the chiefs of the allies, in great anger, entered the fray.
ਸੈਨ ਕਟੋਚਨ ਕੀ ਤਬੈ ਘੇਰ ਲਈ ਅਰ ਰਾਇ ॥੧੫॥
sain kattochan kee tabai gher lee ar raae |15|And besieged the army of Katoch. 15.
ਭੁਜੰਗ ਛੰਦ ॥

ਚਲੇ ਨਾਗਲੂ ਪਾਗਲੂ ਵੇਦੜੋਲੰ ॥
chale naagaloo paagaloo vedarrolan |Nanglu, Panglu, Vedarol,
ਜਸਵਾਰੇ ਗੁਲੇਰੇ ਚਲੇ ਬਾਧ ਟੋਲੰ ॥
jasavaare gulere chale baadh ttolan |The Rajputs of the tribes of Nanglua and Panglu advanced in groups alongwith the soldiers of Jaswar and Guler.
ਤਹਾ ਏਕ ਬਾਜਿਯੋ ਮਹਾਬੀਰ ਦਿਆਲੰ ॥
tahaa ek baajiyo mahaabeer diaalan |Just then (from the opposing party) a great stalwart called Dayal appeared,
ਰਖੀ ਲਾਜ ਜੌਨੈ ਸਬੈ ਬਿਝੜਵਾਲੰ ॥੧੬॥
rakhee laaj jauanai sabai bijharravaalan |16|The greater warrior Dayal also joined and saved the honour of the people of Bijharwal. 16.
ਤਵੰ ਕੀਟ ਤੌ ਲੌ ਤੁਫੰਗੰ ਸੰਭਾਰੋ ॥
tavan keett tau lau tufangan sanbhaaro |(O Lord!) Your servant also handled a gun at that time
ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਏਕ ਰਾਵੰਤ ਕੇ ਤਕਿ ਮਾਰੋ ॥
hridai ek raavant ke tak maaro |Then this lowly person (the Guru himself) took up his gun and aimed unerringly at one of the chiefs.
ਗਿਰਿਯੋ ਝੂਮਿ ਭੂਮੈ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਜੁਧ ਸੁਧੰ ॥
giriyo jhoom bhoomai kariyo judh sudhan |(He) fell down on the ground after eating bhavati (but he) fought a good war
ਤਊ ਮਾਰੁ ਬੋਲ੍ਯੋ ਮਹਾ ਮਾਨਿ ਕ੍ਰੁਧੰ ॥੧੭॥
taoo maar bolayo mahaa maan krudhan |17|He reeled and fell down on the ground in the battlefield, but even then he thundered in anger.17.
ਤਜਿਯੋ ਤੁਪਕੰ ਬਾਨ ਪਾਨੰ ਸੰਭਾਰੇ ॥
tajiyo tupakan baan paanan sanbhaare |(Then) dropping the gun (I) took the arrows in my hand.
ਚਤੁਰ ਬਾਨਯੰ ਲੈ ਸੁ ਸਬਿਯੰ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
chatur baanayan lai su sabiyan prahaare |I then threw away the gun and took the arrows in my hand, I shot four of them.
ਤ੍ਰਿਯੋ ਬਾਣ ਲੈ ਬਾਮ ਪਾਣੰ ਚਲਾਏ ॥
triyo baan lai baam paanan chalaae |And shot three arrows with the left hand.
ਲਗੈ ਯਾ ਲਗੈ ਨਾ ਕਛੂ ਜਾਨਿ ਪਾਏ ॥੧੮॥
lagai yaa lagai naa kachhoo jaan paae |18|Another three I discharged with my left hand, whether they struck anybody, I do not know. 18.
ਸੁ ਤਉ ਲਉ ਦਈਵ ਜੁਧ ਕੀਨੋ ਉਝਾਰੰ ॥
su tau lau deev judh keeno ujhaaran |By then the Lord ended the war
ਤਿਨੈ ਖੇਦ ਕੈ ਬਾਰਿ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਡਾਰੰ ॥
tinai khed kai baar ke beech ddaaran |Then the Lord brought the end of the fight and the enemy was driven out into the river.
ਪਰੀ ਮਾਰ ਬੁੰਗੰ ਛੁਟੀ ਬਾਣ ਗੋਲੀ ॥
paree maar bungan chhuttee baan golee |(Above) There was such a flurry of bullets and arrows from the dunes
ਮਨੋ ਸੂਰ ਬੈਠੇ ਭਲੀ ਖੇਲ ਹੋਲੀ ॥੧੯॥
mano soor baitthe bhalee khel holee |19|Form the hill the bullets and arrows were showered. It seemed that the sun set down after playing a good holi.19.
ਗਿਰੇ ਬੀਰ ਭੂਮੰ ਸਰੰ ਸਾਗ ਪੇਲੰ ॥
gire beer bhooman saran saag pelan |Warriors, riddled with arrows and spears, fell on the ground.
ਰੰਗੇ ਸ੍ਰੋਣ ਬਸਤ੍ਰੰ ਮਨੋ ਫਾਗ ਖੇਲੰ ॥
range sron basatran mano faag khelan |Pierced by arrows and spears, the warriors fell in the battlefield. Their clothes were dyed with blood, it seemed that they played holi.
ਲੀਯੋ ਜੀਤਿ ਬੈਰੀ ਕੀਆ ਆਨਿ ਡੇਰੰ ॥
leeyo jeet bairee keea aan dderan |Defeated the enemy and came to the camp.
ਤੇਊ ਜਾਇ ਪਾਰੰ ਰਹੇ ਬਾਰਿ ਕੇਰੰ ॥੨੦॥
teaoo jaae paaran rahe baar keran |20|After conquering the enemy, they came for rest at heir place of encampment, on the other side of the reiver. 20.
ਭਈ ਰਾਤ੍ਰਿ ਗੁਬਾਰ ਕੇ ਅਰਧ ਜਾਮੰ ॥
bhee raatr gubaar ke aradh jaaman |Half an hour of the dark night passed
ਤਬੈ ਛੋਰਿਗੇ ਬਾਰ ਦੇਵੈ ਦਮਾਮੰ ॥
tabai chhorige baar devai damaaman |Sometime after midnight they left, while beating the drums.
ਸਬੈ ਰਾਤ੍ਰਿ ਬੀਤੀ ਉਦ੍ਰਯੋ ਦਿਉਸ ਰਾਣੰ ॥
sabai raatr beetee udrayo diaus raanan |The whole night passed and the sun ('Deus Ranam') rose.
ਚਲੇ ਬੀਰ ਚਾਲਾਕ ਖਗੰ ਖਿਲਾਣੰ ॥੨੧॥
chale beer chaalaak khagan khilaanan |21|When the whole night ended and the sun arose, the warriors on out side marched hastily, brandishing their spears.21.
ਭਜ੍ਯੋ ਅਲਿਫ ਖਾਨੰ ਨ ਖਾਨਾ ਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
bhajayo alif khaanan na khaanaa sanbhaariyo |Alf Khan ran away, (he did not even take his) equipment.
ਭਜੇ ਔਰ ਬੀਰੰ ਨ ਧੀਰੰ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
bhaje aauar beeran na dheeran bichaariyo |Alif Khan fled away, leaving back his belongings. All the other warriors fled away and did not stay anywhere.
ਨਦੀ ਪੈ ਦਿਨੰ ਅਸਟ ਕੀਨੇ ਮੁਕਾਮੰ ॥
nadee pai dinan asatt keene mukaaman |(We) camped on the banks of the river for eight days
ਭਲੀ ਭਾਤ ਦੇਖੈ ਸਬੈ ਰਾਜ ਧਾਮੰ ॥੨੨॥
bhalee bhaat dekhai sabai raaj dhaaman |22|I remained there on the bank of the river for eight more days and visited the palaces of all the chiefs.22.

ਇਤ ਹਮ ਹੋਇ ਬਿਦਾ ਘਰਿ ਆਏ ॥
eit ham hoe bidaa ghar aae |Here we left (Bhim Chand) and returned home (Anandpur).
ਸੁਲਹ ਨਮਿਤ ਵੈ ਉਤਹਿ ਸਿਧਾਏ ॥
sulah namit vai uteh sidhaae |Then I took leave and came home, they went there to settle the terms of peace.
ਸੰਧਿ ਇਨੈ ਉਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਕਈ ॥
sandh inai un kai sang kee |They made a treaty with them
ਹੇਤ ਕਥਾ ਪੂਰਨ ਇਤ ਭਈ ॥੨੩॥
het kathaa pooran it bhee |23|Both the parties made and agreement, therefore the story ends here.23.
