ਸਾਤ ਪੂਤ ਹਨਿ ਪਤਹਿ ਸੰਘਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
saat poot han pateh sanghaariyo |After killing seven sons, she beautified her husband.
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਮੂੰਡ ਅਪਨੋ ਕਟਿ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
bahur moondd apano katt ddaariyo |Then cut off his head.
ਰਾਵ ਚਕ੍ਰਯੋ ਕੌਤਕ ਜਬ ਲਹਿਯੋ ॥
raav chakrayo kauatak jab lahiyo |When the king saw Kautaka, he was shocked.
ਸੋਈ ਖੜਗ ਹਾਥ ਮੈ ਗਹਿਯੋ ॥੧੨॥
soee kharrag haath mai gahiyo |12|(He) held that sword in his hand. 12.
ਸਾਤ ਪੂਤ ਹਮਰੇ ਹਿਤ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
saat poot hamare hit maare |(The king said that this woman) killed seven sons for me (first).
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਆਪੁਨੇ ਨਾਥ ਸੰਘਾਰੇ ॥
bahur aapune naath sanghaare |And then killed his Nath.
ਪੁਨਿ ਇਨ ਦੇਹ ਨੇਹ ਮਮ ਦਿਯੋ ॥
pun in deh neh mam diyo |Then sacrificed his body for my love.
ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਇਹ ਰਾਜ ਹਮਾਰੋ ਕਿਯੋ ॥੧੩॥
dhrig ih raaj hamaaro kiyo |13|To rule like this is an abomination to me. 13.
ਸੋਈ ਖੜਗ ਕੰਠੀ ਪਰ ਧਰਿਯੋ ॥
soee kharrag kantthee par dhariyo |The same sword (he) held on his neck
ਮਾਰਨ ਅਪਨੋ ਆਪੁ ਬਿਚਰਿਯੋ ॥
maaran apano aap bichariyo |and thought of killing himself.
ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਰੀ ਤਬ ਤਾਹਿ ਭਵਾਨੀ ॥
kripaa karee tab taeh bhavaanee |Then Bhavani begged him
ਐਸੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਬਖਾਨੀ ਬਾਨੀ ॥੧੪॥
aaisee bhaat bakhaanee baanee |14|And pronounce the words like this. 14.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਇਨ ਕੌ ਲੇਹੁ ਜਿਯਾਇ ਨ ਨਿਜੁ ਬਧ ਕੀਜਿਯੈ ॥
ein kau lehu jiyaae na nij badh keejiyai |(O King!) Take them alive and do not kill yourself.
ਰਾਜ ਬਰਿਸ ਬਹੁ ਕਰੌ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਿਨ ਜੀਜੀਯੈ ॥
raaj baris bahu karau bahut din jeejeeyai |Reign long and live long.
ਤਬ ਦੁਰਗਾ ਤੈ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਦਏ ਜਿਯਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
tab duragaa tai sabh hee de jiyaae kai |Then Durga saw the love of the king
ਹੋ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਹਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੧੫॥
ho nirakh nripat kee preet harakh upajaae kai |15|Happiness made everyone alive. 15.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਐਸੋ ਢੀਠ ਤਵਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕਰਿਯੋ ॥
aaiso dteetth tavan triy kariyo |That kind of woman was stubborn.
ਪਤਿ ਪੂਤਨ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਨ ਹਰਿਯੋ ॥
pat pootan ke praanan hariyo |They took the lives of husband and son.
ਬਹੁਰੋ ਬਧ ਅਪਨੋ ਕਹੂੰ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
bahuro badh apano kahoon keeno |Then killed himself.
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਬਚਾਇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਕੋ ਲੀਨੋ ॥੧੬॥
praan bachaae nripat ko leeno |16|Saved the life of the king. 16.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਨਿਰਖਿ ਸਤਤਾ ਸਭਨ ਕੀ ਜਗ ਜਨਨੀ ਹਰਖਾਇ ॥
nirakh satataa sabhan kee jag jananee harakhaae |Seeing everyone's honesty, Jag Janani (Goddess) was happy
ਸਾਤ ਪੂਤ ਪਤਿ ਕੇ ਸਹਿਤ ਤਿਹ ਜੁਤ ਦਏ ਜਿਯਾਇ ॥੧੭॥
saat poot pat ke sahit tih jut de jiyaae |17|He saved that woman with her husband and seven sons. 17.
ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਦੁਹਕਰਿ ਕਰਿਯੋ ਜੈਸੋ ਕਰੈ ਨ ਕੋਇ ॥
triy charitr duhakar kariyo jaiso karai na koe |That lady played a very difficult character as no one can do.
ਪੁਰੀ ਚਤ੍ਰਦਸ ਕੇ ਬਿਖੈ ਧੰਨ੍ਯ ਧੰਨ੍ਯ ਤਿਹ ਹੋਇ ॥੧੮॥
puree chatradas ke bikhai dhanay dhanay tih hoe |18|Among the fourteen people, his fortune began to be blessed. 18.

ਸਾਤ ਪੂਤ ਮੂਏ ਜਿਯਰਾਏ ॥

ਅਪਨੀ ਦੇਹ ਸਹਿਤ ਪਤਿ ਪਾਏ ॥
apanee deh sahit pat paae |Received her husband along with her body.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੀ ਬਡੀ ਆਰਬਲ ਹੋਈ ॥
nrip kee baddee aarabal hoee |The life of the king became long.
ਐਸੋ ਕਰਤ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਨ ਕੋਈ ॥੧੯॥
aaiso karat charitr na koee |19|No one can do such a character. 19.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਪੈਸਠਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੬੫॥੩੨੭੪॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade ik sau paisatthavo charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |165|3274|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 165th chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 165.3274. goes on
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਸੁਕ੍ਰਿਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੂਰੋ ਬਡੋ ਸੂਰਤਿ ਕੋ ਨਰਪਾਲ ॥
sukrit singh sooro baddo soorat ko narapaal |Sukrit Singh was a great warrior king of Surat (city).
ਜੁਬਨ ਕਲਾ ਰਾਨੀ ਰਹੈ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਨੈਨ ਬਿਸਾਲ ॥੧॥
juban kalaa raanee rahai jaa ke nain bisaal |1|His queen was Juban Kala who had big eyes. 1.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਏਕ ਪੂਤ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਭਯੋ ॥
taa ke ek poot grih bhayo |son was born to him.
ਸਵਤਿਨ ਡਾਰਿ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਮੈ ਦਯੋ ॥
savatin ddaar sindh mai dayo |(He) was thrown into the ocean by the sleeper ('Svatin').
ਕਹਿਯੋ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਭਿਰਟੀ ਲੈ ਗਈ ॥
kahiyo ki ih bhirattee lai gee |Said that he has been taken by a wolf ('Bhirti').
ਇਹੈ ਖਬਰਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਕਹ ਭਈ ॥੨॥
eihai khabar raajaa kah bhee |2|The same news (he) also told the king. 2.
ਰਾਨੀ ਅਧਿਕ ਸੋਕ ਤਬ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
raanee adhik sok tab keeno |The queen was very sad then
ਮਾਥੋ ਫੋਰਿ ਭੂੰਮਿ ਤਨ ਦੀਨੋ ॥
maatho for bhoonm tan deeno |And bowed down to the earth and took a boil.
ਤਬ ਰਾਜਾ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਆਯੋ ॥
tab raajaa taa ke grih aayo |Then the king came to his palace
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਿਹ ਤਾਪ ਮਿਟਾਯੋ ॥੩॥
bhaat bhaat tih taap mittaayo |3|And removed his sorrow in many ways. 3.
ਰੀਤਿ ਕਾਲ ਕੀ ਕਿਨੂੰ ਨ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
reet kaal kee kinoo na jaanee |(said the king) No one understood the custom of time.
ਊਚ ਨੀਚ ਕੇ ਸੀਸ ਬਿਹਾਨੀ ॥
aooch neech ke sees bihaanee |The high falls on the head of the low (all).
ਏਕੈ ਬਚਤ ਕਾਲ ਸੇ ਸੋਊ ॥
ekai bachat kaal se soaoo |Only one (God) survives time.
