ਤਬੈ ਚਿਤ ਤੇ ਭਾਟ ਬਿਸਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੧॥
tabai chit te bhaatt bisaariyo |1|Then Bhat was forgotten from Chit. 1.

ਬਾਧਿ ਖਾਟੁ ਤਰ ਨਿਜੁ ਪਤਿਹਿ ਹਮ ਸੌ ਭੋਗ ਕਮਾਇ ॥
baadh khaatt tar nij patihi ham sau bhog kamaae |(If you) tie your husband under the bed and nail me,
ਤੌ ਮੈ ਜਾਨੌ ਸਾਚੁ ਤੂ ਹਿਤੂ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਆਇ ॥੨॥
tau mai jaanau saach too hitoo hamaaree aae |2|Then I will know that you are truly my love. 2.

ਐਂਡੇ ਰਾਇ ਏਕ ਦਿਨ ਆਯੋ ॥
aaindde raae ek din aayo |(When) one day Ende Rai came
ਦੁਖਿਤ ਨਾਰਿ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥
dukhit naar hvai bachan sunaayo |(So his) wife was saddened and uttered the word,
ਤੁਮ ਕੌ ਰੋਗ ਨਾਥ ਇਕ ਭਾਰੋ ॥
tum kau rog naath ik bhaaro |O Nath! You have a major disease.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਖੀਝਤ ਚਿਤ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥੩॥
taa te kheejhat chit hamaaro |3|By doing this, my mind is very irritated. 3.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਏਕ ਬੈਦ ਮੈ ਤਵ ਨਿਮਿਤ ਰਾਖ੍ਯੋ ਧਾਮ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥
ek baid mai tav nimit raakhayo dhaam bulaae |have called a doctor for you and kept him at home.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਤੁਰਤ ਕਰਾਇਯੈ ਅਪਨ ਇਲਾਜ ਬਨਾਇ ॥੪॥
taa te turat karaaeiyai apan ilaaj banaae |4|So get your treatment from him immediately. 4.

ਐਂਡੇ ਰਾਇ ਤਬੈ ਯੌ ਕਯੋ ॥
aaindde raae tabai yau kayo |Andy Roy did so only then
ਬੀਰਮ ਦੇਵ ਬੋਲਿ ਕਰਿ ਲਯੋ ॥
beeram dev bol kar layo |And called Biram Dev.
ਯਾ ਗਦ ਕੌ ਗਦਹਾ ਕ੍ਯਾ ਕਰਿਯੈ ॥
yaa gad kau gadahaa kayaa kariyai |(O physician!) What should be done to treat this disease ('Gad'),
ਜਾ ਤੇ ਰੋਗ ਬਡੋ ਪਰਹਰਿਯੈ ॥੫॥
jaa te rog baddo parahariyai |5|From which the greatest disease is destroyed. 5.
ਬੈਦ ਤਬੈ ਯੌ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥
baid tabai yau bachan uchaare |Then the physician said thus,
ਬਡੋ ਰੋਗ ਇਹ ਭਯੋ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ॥
baddo rog ih bhayo tihaare |You have a very serious disease.
ਯਾ ਕੌ ਜੰਤ੍ਰ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਨਹਿ ਕੋਈ ॥
yaa kau jantr mantr neh koee |Therefore Jantra Mantra has no (Upa).
ਏਕ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਹੋਵੈ ਤੌ ਹੋਈ ॥੬॥
ek tantr hovai tau hoee |6|There is one tantra, it can (effect) something. 6.
ਮਦਰਾ ਅਧਿਕ ਆਪੁ ਲੈ ਪੀਜੈ ॥
madaraa adhik aap lai peejai |(You) drink a lot of alcohol
ਔਰ ਆਪਨੀ ਤਿਯ ਕਹ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
aauar aapanee tiy kah deejai |And feed your wife too.
ਖਾਟ ਤਰੇ ਬਾਧ ਤੁਮ ਰਹੋ ॥
khaatt tare baadh tum raho |You stay tied under the bed
ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਪਰੇ ਕਬਿਤਨ ਕਹੋ ॥੭॥
mukh te pare kabitan kaho |7|And keep reciting poems from the face. 7.
ਏਕ ਬੀਰ ਇਕ ਠੌਰ ਬੁਲੈਹੌ ॥
ek beer ik tthauar bulaihau |Then call a 'Bir' here
ਇਸੀ ਖਾਟ ਊਪਰ ਬਠੈਹੌ ॥
eisee khaatt aoopar batthaihau |And sit on this bed.
ਮਲ ਜੁਧ ਤਵ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਤਨ ਕਰਿਹੈ ॥
mal judh tav triy tan karihai |He will make war with your wife,
ਤੋ ਤਵ ਰੋਗ ਬਡੋ ਪਰਹਰਿ ਹੈ ॥੮॥
to tav rog baddo parahar hai |8|Then this disease of yours will be removed.8.
ਮੂੜ ਬਾਤ ਇਹ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
moorr baat ih kachhoo na jaanee |(That) fool did not understand this.
ਦੇਹ ਅਰੋਗ ਸਰੋਗ ਪਛਾਨੀ ॥
deh arog sarog pachhaanee |(He considered his) healthy body to be diseased.
ਆਪੁ ਮੰਗਾਇ ਮਦ੍ਰਯ ਤਬ ਪਿਯੋ ॥
aap mangaae madray tab piyo |He himself ordered alcohol and drank it
ਜਾਰ ਸਹਿਤ ਅਬਲਾ ਕੋ ਦਿਯੋ ॥੯॥
jaar sahit abalaa ko diyo |9|And along with the friend, the wife also drank. 9.
ਨਿਜੁ ਕਰ ਮੈ ਤਿਯ ਜਾਰ ਪਿਵਾਯੋ ॥
nij kar mai tiy jaar pivaayo |The woman made the man drink with her hands.
ਬਪੁ ਔਧੋ ਤਰ ਖਾਟ ਬੰਧਾਯੋ ॥
bap aauadho tar khaatt bandhaayo |The (husband's) body was tied upside down under the bed.
ਆਖੈ ਦੋਊ ਮੂੰਦਿ ਕਰ ਲਈ ॥
aakhai doaoo moond kar lee |(His) both eyes closed
ਜਾਰ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਆਰੂੜਿਤ ਭਈ ॥੧੦॥
jaar triyaa aaroorrit bhee |10|And (on the bed) men and women sat down. 10.
ਭਾਟ ਪਰਿਯੋ ਤਰ ਕਬਿਤ ਉਚਾਰੈ ॥
bhaatt pariyo tar kabit uchaarai |(He) chanted the poem lying under the bed
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਬਿਚਾਰੈ ॥
bhed abhed kachhoo na bichaarai |And nothing could consider the secret.
ਵਹੈ ਤੰਤ੍ਰ ਜੌ ਬੈਦ ਬਨਾਯੋ ॥
vahai tantr jau baid banaayo |(Thought that) the Tantra that Ved had made,
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਦੇਵ ਹਮਾਰੈ ਆਯੋ ॥੧੧॥
taa te dev hamaarai aayo |11|That is why God (Bir) has come to our (house). 11.
ਭੋਗੁ ਜਾਰ ਅਬਲਾ ਸੌ ਕਿਯੋ ॥
bhog jaar abalaa sau kiyo |The man had sex with the woman
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਸੁਖ ਦਿਯੋ ॥
bhaat bhaat taa ko sukh diyo |And gave him happiness in every way.
ਉਛਲ ਉਛਲ ਰਤਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਕਮਾਈ ॥
auchhal uchhal rat adhik kamaaee |Played a lot by leaping and jumping,
ਮੂਰਖ ਭਾਟ ਬਾਤ ਨਹਿ ਪਾਈ ॥੧੨॥
moorakh bhaatt baat neh paaee |12|But stupid Bhat could not understand the matter. 12.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਉਤਰਿ ਖਾਟਿ ਤੇ ਖੋਲਿ ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਦਿਯੇ ਨ ਕੀਨੋ ਸੋਗੁ ॥
autar khaatt te khol drig diye na keeno sog |After getting off the bed, he opened his eyes (and Bhat too in his mind) and did not feel any pain.
ਭਾਟ ਪਛਾਨ੍ਯੋ ਸਾਚੁ ਜਿਯ ਅਬ ਮੈ ਭਯੋ ਅਰੋਗ ॥੧੩॥
bhaatt pachhaanayo saach jiy ab mai bhayo arog |13|Bhat truly understood in (his) mind that now I have become ill. 13.
ਬਾਧਿ ਖਾਟ ਤਰ ਭਾਟ ਕੌ ਤਾ ਕਰ ਤੇ ਮਦ ਪੀਯ ॥
baadh khaatt tar bhaatt kau taa kar te mad peey |By tying Bhat under the bed and drinking from his hand,
ਰਤਿ ਮਾਨੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਜਾਰ ਸੌ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਪਾਯੋ ਪੀਯ ॥੧੪॥
rat maanee triy jaar sau bhed na paayo peey |14|The woman played with the man, (but he) could not find the lover (Bhat). 14.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਬਹਤਰਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੭੨॥੩੩੮੧॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade ik sau bahataravo charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |172|3381|afajoon|Here ends the 172nd chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 172.3381. goes on
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਰਾਇ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਚੋਪਰੋ ਜਾ ਕੀ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਅਨੂਪ ॥
raae niranjan choparo jaa kee triyaa anoop |Niranjan Rai Chopra's wife was very beautiful.
ਲੋਕ ਸਕਲ ਨਿਰਖੈ ਤਿਸੈ ਰਤਿ ਕੌ ਜਾਨਿ ਸਰੂਪ ॥੧॥
lok sakal nirakhai tisai rat kau jaan saroop |1|All the people saw him as the form of Rati. 1.
ਸਹਿਰ ਬਸੈ ਬਹਲੋਲ ਪੁਰ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਅਮੋਲ ॥
sahir basai bahalol pur jaa ko roop amol |Who had an incredible form, (he) lived in Bahlolpur.
ਸੂਰਾ ਸਕਲ ਸਰਾਹਹੀ ਨਾਮ ਖਾਨ ਬਹਲੋਲ ॥੨॥
sooraa sakal saraahahee naam khaan bahalol |2|He was praised by all the warriors and his name was Bahlol Khan. 2.
ਜਬ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਕਲਾ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਹਿ ਗਯੋ ਬਹਲੋਲ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ॥
jab sangeet kalaa triyeh gayo bahalol nihaar |When Bahlol saw the music woman,
ਤਬ ਹੀ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਚਿਤ ਤੇ ਦਈ ਪਠਾਨੀ ਡਾਰਿ ॥੩॥
tab hee sabh hee chit te dee patthaanee ddaar |3|Then he removed all the Pathanis from his Chit. 3.
ਬਨਿਜ ਕਲਾ ਬਾਲਾ ਹੁਤੀ ਲੀਨੀ ਨਿਕਟ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥
banij kalaa baalaa hutee leenee nikatt bulaae |There was a woman named Banij Kala, called her.
ਅਮਿਤ ਦਰਬੁ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਦਿਯੋ ਵਾ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਦਈ ਪਠਾਇ ॥੪॥
amit darab taa kau diyo vaa prat dee patthaae |4|He gave him countless money and sent it to him. 4.

ਬਨਿਜ ਕਲਾ ਚਲਿ ਕੈ ਤਿਤ ਆਈ ॥
banij kalaa chal kai tith aaee |Banij Kala went there
ਜਹਾ ਕਲਾ ਸੰਗੀਤ ਸੁਹਾਈ ॥
jahaa kalaa sangeet suhaaee |Where the art of music was embellished.
ਜਬੈ ਖਾਨ ਕੀ ਉਪਮਾ ਕਰੀ ॥
jabai khaan kee upamaa karee |When he praised Khan
ਏ ਸੁਨਿ ਬਾਤ ਨਾਰਿ ਵਹ ਢਰੀ ॥੫॥
e sun baat naar vah dtaree |5|That woman also got upset after hearing it. 5.
ਇਨ ਬਾਤਨ ਅਬਲਾ ਉਰਝਾਈ ॥
ein baatan abalaa urajhaaee |With these words (he) ensnared the woman.
ਇਹੈ ਬਾਤ ਪਿਯ ਸੁਨਤ ਸੁਹਾਈ ॥
eihai baat piy sunat suhaaee |The same thing was narrated to (her) beloved (husband) in a beautiful manner
ਮੈ ਇਕ ਬਾਗ ਬਨਾਯੋ ਭਲੋ ॥
mai ik baag banaayo bhalo |That I have made a beautiful garden.
ਮੁਹਿ ਲੈ ਸੰਗ ਤਹਾ ਤੁਮ ਚਲੋ ॥੬॥
muhi lai sang tahaa tum chalo |6|(The wife said to the husband) You take me there and go there. 6.
ਅਬ ਲੌ ਮੈ ਕਤਹੂੰ ਨਹਿ ਗਈ ॥
ab lau mai katahoon neh gee |I have not gone anywhere till now.
ਪੈਂਡ ਅਪੈਂਡ ਨ ਪਾਵਤ ਭਈ ॥
paindd apaindd na paavat bhee |Pende Kupende did not step foot.
