hane bhoom maathan |440|Heard this news, he, in great anguish, threw his head on the earth.440.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕੇ ਰਾਮਵਤਾਰ ਕੁੰਭਕਰਨ ਬਧਹਿ ਧਯਾਇ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ॥

ਅਥ ਤ੍ਰਿਮੁੰਡ ਜੁਧ ਕਥਨੰ ॥

ਰਸਾਵਲ ਛੰਦ ॥
rasaaval chhand |RASAAVAL STANZA
ਪਠਯੋ ਤੀਨ ਮੁੰਡੰ ॥
patthayo teen munddan |(Then Ravana) sent the demon Trimunda
ਚਲਯੋ ਸੈਨ ਝੁੰਡੰ ॥
chalayo sain jhunddan |Now Ravana sent the demon Trimund who marched at the head of the army
ਕ੍ਰਿਤੀ ਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਜੋਧੀ ॥
kritee chitr jodhee |(He) was a warrior who wore the color of war
ਮੰਡੇ ਪਰਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੀ ॥੪੪੧॥
mandde param krodhee |441|That warriors was unique like a portrait and a demon of supreme fury.441.
ਬਕੈਂ ਮਾਰ ਮਾਰੰ ॥
bakain maar maaran |Mar lau, mar lau, speaking
ਤਜੈ ਬਾਣ ਧਾਰੰ ॥
tajai baan dhaaran |He shouted “Kill, Kill” and discharged a current of arrows,
ਹਨੂਮੰਤ ਕੋਪੇ ॥
hanoomant kope |(In front of him) Hanuman with anger
ਰਣੰ ਪਾਇ ਰੋਪੇ ॥੪੪੨॥
ranan paae rope |442|With great rage Hanuman stood with a firm foot in the battlefield.442.
ਅਸੰ ਛੀਨ ਲੀਨੋ ॥
asan chheen leeno |(Hanuman took away the sword from the hands of Trimund).
ਤਿਸੀ ਕੰਠਿ ਦੀਨੋ ॥
tisee kantth deeno |Hanuman seized the sword of that demon and with the same he gave a blow on his neck.
ਹਨਯੋ ਖਸਟ ਨੈਣੰ ॥
hanayo khasatt nainan |(Thus) slew the six-eyed (Trimund).
ਹਸੇ ਦੇਵ ਗੈਣੰ ॥੪੪੩॥
hase dev gainan |443|That six-eyed demon was killed, seeing whom the gods smiled in the sky.443.

ਸੁਣਯੋ ਲੰਕ ਨਾਥੰ ॥
sunayo lank naathan |Lord of Lanka (Ravana) heard (Trimund's death).
ਧੁਣੇ ਸਰਬ ਮਾਥੰ ॥
dhune sarab maathan |When Ravana heard the news about the destruction of his warriors he held his forehead in extreme anguish.
ਕਰਯੋ ਮਦ ਪਾਣੰ ॥
karayo mad paanan |(Then) consumed alcohol
ਭਰੇ ਬੀਰ ਮਾਣੰ ॥੪੪੪॥
bhare beer maanan |444|(In order to forget his agony), he in his pride drank wine.444.
ਮਹਿਖੁਆਸ ਕਰਖੈਂ ॥
mahikhuaas karakhain |Strongly pulled the bow
ਸਰੰਧਾਰ ਬਰਖੈਂ ॥
sarandhaar barakhain |There was sound of the pulling of bows and the arrows were being showered,
ਮਹੋਦ੍ਰਾਦਿ ਵੀਰੰ ॥
mahodraad veeran |And patient warriors
ਹਠੇ ਖਗ ਧੀਰੰ ॥੪੪੫॥
hatthe khag dheeran |445|The persistent warriors like Mahodar held their swords and stood firmly with forbearance.445.
ਮੋਹਣੀ ਛੰਦ ॥
mohanee chhand |MOHINI STANZA
ਢਲ ਹਲ ਸੁਢਲੀ ਢੋਲਾਣੰ ॥
dtal hal sudtalee dtolaanan |There is a clatter of the swaying drums.
ਰਣ ਰੰਗ ਅਭੰਗ ਕਲੋਲਾਣੰ ॥
ran rang abhang kalolaanan |The shields sounded like drums and there was being heard the agitated atmosphere of the war
ਭਰਣੰਕ ਸੁ ਨਦੰ ਨਾਫੀਰੰ ॥
bharanank su nadan naafeeran |Nafiri is sounding loudly.
ਬਰਣੰਕਸੁ ਬਜੇ ਮਜੀਰੰ ॥੪੪੬॥
baranankas baje majeeran |446|The sound of fifes filled a all the four directions and small cymbals of different colors rang.446.
ਭਰਣੰਕਸੁ ਭੇਰੀ ਘੋਰਾਣੰ ॥
bharanankas bheree ghoraanan |The overflowing waves echo,
ਜਣੁ ਸਾਵਣ ਭਾਦੋ ਮੋਰਾਣੰ ॥
jan saavan bhaado moraanan |The kettledrums sounded like the resonance of the group of peacocks on seeing the clouds in the month of Sawan
ਉਛਲੀਏ ਪ੍ਰਖਰੇ ਪਾਵੰਗੰ ॥
auchhalee prakhare paavangan |Horses with wings leap,
ਮਚੇ ਜੁਝਾਰੇ ਜੋਧੰਗੰ ॥੪੪੭॥
mache jujhaare jodhangan |447|The armoured horse jumped and the warriors were absorbed in war.447.
ਸਿੰਧੁਰੀਏ ਸੁੰਡੀ ਦੰਤਾਲੇ ॥
sindhuree sunddee dantaale |The mighty elephants with huge tusks roam,
ਨਚੇ ਪਖਰੀਏ ਮੁਛਾਲੇ ॥
nache pakharee muchhaale |The elephants having trunks and tusks got intoxicated and the warriors of frightful whiskers danced
ਓਰੜੀਏ ਸਰਬੰ ਸੈਣਾਯੰ ॥
orarree saraban sainaayan |The whole army has come shouting
ਦੇਖੰਤ ਸੁ ਦੇਵੰ ਗੈਣਾਯੰ ॥੪੪੮॥
dekhant su devan gainaayan |448|There was movement of all the forces and the gobs saw them from the sky.448.
ਝਲੈ ਅਵਝੜੀਯੰ ਉਝਾੜੰ ॥
jhalai avajharreeyan ujhaarran |Steadfast warriors are falling down,
ਰਣ ਉਠੈ ਬੈਹੈਂ ਬਬਾੜੰ ॥
ran utthai baihain babaarran |The blows of very stern warriors are being endured the fighters are falling in the battlefield and are flowing in the stream of blood
ਘੈ ਘੁਮੇ ਘਾਯੰ ਅਘਾਯੰ ॥
ghai ghume ghaayan aghaayan |As soon as the wound is inflicted, the gherni eats and falls down.
ਭੂਅ ਡਿਗੇ ਅਧੋ ਅਧਾਯੰ ॥੪੪੯॥
bhooa ddige adho adhaayan |449|The wounded warriors are wandering circularly and are falling on the earth with downward faces.449.
ਰਿਸ ਮੰਡੈ ਛੰਡੈ ਅਉ ਛੰਡੈ ॥
ris manddai chhanddai aau chhanddai |They are cutting off those who cannot be cut off with anger,
ਹਠਿ ਹਸੈ ਕਸੈ ਕੋ ਅੰਡੈ ॥
hatth hasai kasai ko anddai |In great fury they are killing others and are going on killing the persistent warriors are tightening their weapons smilingly
ਰਿਸ ਬਾਹੈਂ ਗਾਹੈਂ ਜੋਧਾਣੰ ॥
ris baahain gaahain jodhaanan |Warriors are seized and armed with fury,
ਰਣ ਹੋਹੈਂ ਜੋਹੈਂ ਕ੍ਰੋਧਾਣੰ ॥੪੫੦॥
ran hohain johain krodhaanan |450|And being enraged are churning the fighters and are raising the ire of others.450.
