ਬਡੋ ਸੁ ਜਸੁ ਜਗ ਭੀਤਰ ਲੈ ਹੋ ॥੨੪੭੦॥
baddo su jas jag bheetar lai ho |2470|When the boys came near Krishna, Vishnu said, “Go and return these boys and earn the praise in the world.”2470.
ਤਬ ਹਰਿ ਨਗਰ ਦੁਆਰਿਕਾ ਆਯੋ ॥
tab har nagar duaarikaa aayo |Then Sri Krishna came to Dwarika Nagar.
ਦਿਜ ਬਾਲਕ ਦੈ ਅਤਿ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
dij baalak dai at sukh paayo |Then Krishna came to Dwarka and returning the boys to the Brahmin, he obtained extreme pleasure
ਜਰਤ ਅਗਨਿ ਤੇ ਸੰਤ ਬਚਾਏ ॥
jarat agan te sant bachaae |Saved (his) saint (the devotee, i.e. Arjan) from burning in the fire.
ਇਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਜੂ ਸਭ ਸੰਤਨ ਗਾਏ ॥੨੪੭੧॥
eiau prabh joo sabh santan gaae |2471|In this way, he saved the good men from burning fire and the saints sang the praises of the Lord.2471.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਚਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਾਟਕ ਗ੍ਰੰਥੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਸਨਾਵਤਾਰੇ ਦਿਜ ਕੋ ਜਮਲੋਕ ਤੇ ਸਾਤ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਲਯਾਇ ਦੇਤ ਭਏ ਧਯਾਇ ਸਮਾਪਤੰ ॥

ਅਥ ਕਾਨ੍ਰਹ ਜੂ ਜਲ ਬਿਹਾਰ ਤ੍ਰੀਅਨ ਸੰਗ ॥

ਕੰਚਨ ਕੀ ਜਹਿ ਦੁਆਰਵਤੀ ਤਿਹ ਠਾ ਜਬ ਹੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਭੂਖਨ ਆਯੋ ॥
kanchan kee jeh duaaravatee tih tthaa jab hee brijabhookhan aayo |Where there was a golden (city) Dwarika, there when Sri Krishna came.
ਲਾਲ ਲਗੇ ਜਿਹ ਠਾ ਮਨੋ ਬਜ੍ਰ ਭਲੇ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਬ੍ਯੋਤ ਬਨਾਯੋ ॥
laal lage jih tthaa mano bajr bhale brij naaeik bayot banaayo |Krishna reached the golden Dwarka, where within several plans, the jewels and diamonds were studded
ਤਾਲ ਕੇ ਬੀਚ ਤਰੈ ਜਦੁ ਨੰਦਨ ਸੋਕ ਸਬੈ ਚਿਤ ਕੋ ਬਿਸਰਾਯੋ ॥
taal ke beech tarai jad nandan sok sabai chit ko bisaraayo |Removing the fear of his mind, Krishna began to swim in the tank
ਲੈ ਤ੍ਰੀਯਾ ਬਾਲਕ ਦੈ ਦਿਜ ਕਉ ਜਬ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਬਡੋ ਜਸੁ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੨੪੭੨॥
lai treeyaa baalak dai dij kau jab sree brijanaath baddo jas paayo |2472|Taking the women with him and delivering the boys to the Brahmin, Krishna earned extreme approbation.2472.
ਤ੍ਰੀਅਨ ਸੈ ਜਲ ਮੈ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਰੁਚਿ ਸਿਉ ਲਪਟਾਏ ॥
treean sai jal mai brij naaeik sayaam bhanai ruch siau lapattaae |Krishna affectionately clung to the women in water
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਬਢਿਯੋ ਉਨ ਕੇ ਅਤਿ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੇ ਲਗੀ ਅੰਗਿ ਅਨੰਗ ਬਢਾਏ ॥
prem badtiyo un ke at hee prabh ke lagee ang anang badtaae |The women also, clinging to the limbs of the Lord, became intoxicated with lust
ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੋ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਹੁਇ ਗਈ ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਰੂਪ ਨਿਹਾਰਿ ਰਹੀ ਉਰਝਾਏ ॥
prem so ek hee hue gee sundar roop nihaar rahee urajhaae |Being absorbed in love, they became one with Krishna
ਪਾਸ ਹੀ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਜੂ ਰੂਪ ਰਚੀ ਤ੍ਰੀਆ ਹੇਰਿ ਰਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਾਥਿ ਨ ਆਏ ॥੨੪੭੩॥
paas hee sayaam joo roop rachee treea her rahee har haath na aae |2473|The women are advancing to become one with Krishna, but they could not catch him at the same time.2473.
ਰੂਪ ਰਚੀ ਸਭ ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਕੇ ਸ੍ਯਾਮ ਭਨੈ ਦਸ ਹੂ ਦਿਸ ਦਉਰੈ ॥
roop rachee sabh sundar sayaam ke sayaam bhanai das hoo dis daurai |Being absorbed in the beauty of Krishna, they are all running form all the ten directions
ਕੁੰਕਮ ਬੇਦੁ ਲਿਲਾਟ ਦੀਏ ਸੁ ਦੀਏ ਤਿਨ ਊਪਰ ਚੰਦਨ ਖਉਰੈ ॥
kunkam bed lilaatt dee su dee tin aoopar chandan khaurai |They applied saffron, in the parting of their hair, round mark and sandal on the forehead
ਮੈਨ ਕੇ ਬਸਿ ਭਈ ਸਭ ਭਾਮਿਨ ਧਾਈ ਫਿਰੈ ਫੁਨਿ ਧਾਮਨ ਅਉਰੈ ॥
main ke bas bhee sabh bhaamin dhaaee firai fun dhaaman aaurai |Under the impact of lust they are running in and out of their home
ਐਸੇ ਰਟੈ ਮੁਖ ਤੇ ਹਮ ਕਉ ਤਜਿ ਹੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਜਨਾਥ ਗਯੋ ਕਿਹ ਠਉਰੈ ॥੨੪੭੪॥
aaise rattai mukh te ham kau taj ho brijanaath gayo kih tthaurai |2474|And shouting, “O Krishna! where have you gone after leaving us?”2474.
ਢੂੰਢਤ ਏਕ ਫਿਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਸੁੰਦਰਿ ਚਿਤ ਬਿਖੈ ਸਭ ਭਰਮ ਬਢਾਈ ॥
dtoondtat ek firai har sundar chit bikhai sabh bharam badtaaee |Someone is searching for Krishna, keeping illusion in her mind
ਬੇਖ ਅਨੂਪ ਸਜੇ ਤਨ ਪੈ ਤਿਨ ਬੇਖਨ ਕੋ ਬਰਨਿਓ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਈ ॥
bekh anoop saje tan pai tin bekhan ko baranio nahee jaaee |Those women are wearing several unique garbs, which cannot be described
ਸੰਕ ਕਰੈ ਨ ਰਰੈ ਹਰਿ ਹੀ ਹਰਿ ਲਾਜਹਿ ਬੇਚਿ ਮਨੋ ਤਿਨ ਖਾਈ ॥
sank karai na rarai har hee har laajeh bech mano tin khaaee |They are repeating the name of Krishna as if they had not the slightest of shame
ਐਸੇ ਕਹੈ ਤਜਿ ਗਯੋ ਕਿਹ ਠਾ ਤਿਹ ਹੋ ਬ੍ਰਿਜ ਨਾਇਕ ਦੇਹੁ ਦਿਖਾਈ ॥੨੪੭੫॥
aaise kahai taj gayo kih tthaa tih ho brij naaeik dehu dikhaaee |2475|They are saying, “O Krishna! where have you gone after leaving us? Come within our sight.”2475.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਬਹੁਤੁ ਕਾਲ ਮੁਛਿਤ ਭਈ ਖੇਲਤ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ ॥
bahut kaal muchhit bhee khelat har ke saath |After playing with Sri Krishna for a long time, she has become unconscious.
ਮੁਛਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਤਿਨ ਯੌ ਲਖਿਯੋ ਹਰਿ ਆਏ ਅਬ ਹਾਥਿ ॥੨੪੭੬॥
muchhit hvai tin yau lakhiyo har aae ab haath |2476|Playing with Krishna for a long time, they became unconscious and in that unconscious state they saw that they had got Krishna in their grip.2476.
ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਗ ਮਿਲਤ ਹੈ ਸੁਨਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੀ ਗਾਥ ॥
har jan har sang milat hai sunat prem kee gaath |Listening to the story of love, Hari-Jana (devotees) merge with Hari (Inj),
ਜਿਉ ਡਾਰਿਓ ਮਿਲਿ ਜਾਤ ਹੈ ਨੀਰ ਨੀਰ ਕੇ ਸਾਥ ॥੨੪੭੭॥
jiau ddaario mil jaat hai neer neer ke saath |2477|The devotees of the Lord. listening to the discourse of love from the Lord, become one with him like the water being mixed with water.2477.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥

ਜਲ ਤੇ ਤਬ ਹਰਿ ਬਾਹਰਿ ਆਏ ॥
jal te tab har baahar aae |Then Sri Krishna came out of the water.
ਅੰਗਹਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਬਨਾਏ ॥
angeh sundar basatr banaae |Then Krishna came out of water and he wore beautiful clothes
ਕਾ ਉਪਮਾ ਤਿਹ ਕੀ ਕਬਿ ਕਹੈ ॥
kaa upamaa tih kee kab kahai |What simile does the poet say to him?
ਪੇਖਤ ਮੈਨ ਰੀਝ ਕੈ ਰਹੈ ॥੨੪੭੮॥
pekhat main reejh kai rahai |2478|How should the poet describe his glory? Seeing him even the god of love is fascinated by him.2478.
ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਤ੍ਰੀਅਨ ਹੂ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਧਰੇ ॥
basatr treean hoo sundar dhare |Women also wore beautiful armor.
ਦਾਨ ਬਹੁਤ ਬਿਪ੍ਰਨ ਕਉ ਕਰੇ ॥
daan bahut bipran kau kare |The women also wore beautiful garments and gave a great deal of charity to the Brahmins
ਜਿਹ ਤਿਹ ਠਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਯੋ ॥
jih tih tthaa har ko gun gaayo |Those who have sung the praises of Sri Krishna at that place,
ਤਿਹ ਦਾਰਿਦ ਧਨ ਦੇਇ ਗਵਾਯੋ ॥੨੪੭੯॥
tih daarid dhan dee gavaayo |2479|Whosoever eulogised the Lord there, they gave him there a good amount of wealth and removed his poverty.2479.
ਅਥ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕਥਾ ਕਥਨੰ ॥
ath prem kathaa kathanan |Now beings the description of the episode of love
ਕਬਿਯੋ ਬਾਚ ॥
kabiyo baach |Speech of the poet.

ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਸੰਤ ਕਬਢੀ ਸੁਨਾਊ ॥
har ke sant kabadtee sunaaoo |Saints of Hari recite Kabit ('Kabadhi').
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਲੋਗਨ ਰਿਝਵਾਊ ॥
taa te prabh logan rijhavaaoo |I relate the praise of the devotees of the Lord and please the saints
ਜੋ ਇਹ ਕਥਾ ਤਨਕ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
jo ih kathaa tanak sun paavai |Whoever (the person) listens to this story even a little,
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਦੋਖ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਇ ਜਾਵੈ ॥੨੪੮੦॥
taa ko dokh door hoe jaavai |2480|He, who will listen to this episode slightly, all his blemishes will be removed.2480.

ਜੈਸੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਨਾਵ੍ਰਤ ਅਉ ਅਘ ਕੋ ਸੁ ਬਕਾਸੁਰ ਕੋ ਬਧ ਜਾ ਮੁਖ ਫਾਰਿਓ ॥
jaise trinaavrat aau agh ko su bakaasur ko badh jaa mukh faario |The way in which Tranavrata, Aghasura and Bakasura were killed and their faces were torn
ਖੰਡ ਕੀਓ ਸਕਟਾਸੁਰ ਕੋ ਗਹਿ ਕੇਸਨ ਤੇ ਜਿਹ ਕੰਸ ਪਛਾਰਿਓ ॥
khandd keeo sakattaasur ko geh kesan te jih kans pachhaario |The way in which chopping Shaktasura into bits and Kansa was caught and knocked down by catching him from his hair
