ਸਰਖਤ ਅਬ ਹੀ ਹਮ ਤੇ ਲੇਹੁ ਲਿਖਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
sarakhat ab hee ham te lehu likhaae kai |Get the sanad ('authority') written from me now
ਹੋ ਸਦਨ ਸਹਿਤ ਸਭ ਲੇਹੁ ਖਜਾਨੋ ਜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੭॥
ho sadan sahit sabh lehu khajaano jaae kai |7|And take everything including (my) house from the treasury. 7.
ਜੌ ਤੁਮ ਫਾਸੀ ਡਾਰਿ ਅਬੈ ਮੁਹਿ ਘਾਇ ਹੋ ॥
jau tum faasee ddaar abai muhi ghaae ho |If you hang me and kill me now,
ਜੋ ਧਨ ਹਮਰੇ ਪਾਸ ਵਹੈ ਤੁਮ ਪਾਇ ਹੋ ॥
jo dhan hamare paas vahai tum paae ho |So you will get the same wealth that I have.
ਸਰਖਤ ਕ੍ਯੋ ਨ ਲਿਖਾਇ ਮੰਗਾਇਨ ਲੀਜਿਯੈ ॥
sarakhat kayo na likhaae mangaaein leejiyai |Why not write the Sanad and ask for (all the money).
ਹੋ ਧਾਮ ਸਹਿਤ ਸਭ ਜਾਇ ਖਜਾਨੋ ਲੀਜਿਯੈ ॥੮॥
ho dhaam sahit sabh jaae khajaano leejiyai |8|And take everything including the house from the treasury. 8.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਚਿੰਤ ਕਰੀ ਇਸਤ੍ਰਿਨ ਜੁ ਹਮ ਲੈਹੈ ਇਹ ਧਨ ਘਾਇ ॥
chint karee isatrin ju ham laihai ih dhan ghaae |(Those) thieves thought that the money we will get by killing it
ਹ੍ਯਾਂ ਕੋ ਦਰਬੁ ਕਰ ਆਇ ਹੈ ਹੁਆਂ ਕੋ ਲਯੋ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥੯॥
hayaan ko darab kar aae hai huaan ko layo na jaae |9|(He) then only the wealth from here will be taken, the wealth from there (meaning his house) will not be taken. 9.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਅਬੈ ਮੰਗਾਇ ਕੈ ਸਰਖਤ ਲੇਹੁ ਲਿਖਾਇ ॥
taa te abai mangaae kai sarakhat lehu likhaae |Therefore, now (the paper) should be ordered and a Sanad should be written from it
ਧਾਮ ਸਹਿਤ ਯਾ ਕੌ ਦਰਬ ਲੇਹਿ ਸਹਿਰ ਮੈ ਜਾਇ ॥੧੦॥
dhaam sahit yaa kau darab lehi sahir mai jaae |10|And all its wealth along with the house should be obtained by going to the city. 10.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਸਰਖਤ ਲਿਯੋ ਲਿਖਾਇ ਸੁ ਤੁਰਤੁ ਮੰਗਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
sarakhat liyo likhaae su turat mangaae kai |(They asked for the paper) and wrote the Sanad.
ਇਹੈ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਤਿਨ ਤਾ ਮੈ ਲਿਖਿਯੌ ਰਿਸਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
eihai triyaa tin taa mai likhiyau risaae kai |That woman also got angry and wrote in it.
ਮੋਹਿ ਏਕਲੋ ਜਾਨਿ ਫਾਸ ਗਰ ਡਾਰਿ ਕਰਿ ॥
mohi ekalo jaan faas gar ddaar kar |(He wrote that) knowing that I am alone has put me in a trap
ਹੋ ਸਰਖਤ ਲਿਯੋ ਲਿਖਾਇ ਬਸਤ੍ਰ ਧਨ ਮੋਹਿ ਹਰਿ ॥੧੧॥
ho sarakhat liyo likhaae basatr dhan mohi har |11|And he took away all the clothes and money and wrote the Sanad. 11.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਤਾ ਕੌ ਛੋਰਿ ਫਾਸ ਤੇ ਦਿਯੋ ॥
taa kau chhor faas te diyo |freed him from the snare.
ਆਪੁ ਨਗਰ ਕੋ ਮਾਰਗ ਲਿਯੋ ॥
aap nagar ko maarag liyo |He took the road to the city.
ਜਬ ਸਰਖਤ ਕਾਜਿਯਹਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
jab sarakhat kaajiyeh nihaariyo |When the Qazi saw Sanad,
ਤਿਨ ਕੌ ਚੌਕ ਚਾਦਨੀ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੧੨॥
tin kau chauak chaadanee maariyo |12|So they were killed in Chandni Chowk. 12.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਤੁੰਦ ਕਲਾ ਤਬ ਬਨ ਬਿਖੈ ਐਸੋ ਚਤਿਰ ਬਨਾਇ ॥
tund kalaa tab ban bikhai aaiso chatir banaae |Then Tund Kala played this type of character in Bun.
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਰਾਖਿ ਧਨ ਰਾਖਿਯੋ ਉਨ ਇਸਤ੍ਰਿਨਿ ਕੋ ਘਾਇ ॥੧੩॥
praan raakh dhan raakhiyo un isatrin ko ghaae |13|(He) saved his life and secured his wealth and killed those thieves. 13.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਬਾਸਠਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੬੨॥੩੨੨੪॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade ik sau baasatthavo charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |162|3224|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 162nd chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 162.3224. goes on

ਗ੍ਵਾਰਿਏਰ ਗੜ ਮੋ ਰਹੈ ਭਦ੍ਰ ਸੈਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਨਾਮ ॥
gvaarier garr mo rahai bhadr sain nrip naam |A king named Bhadra Sen lived in Gwalior Fort.
ਜਾ ਕੋ ਜੀਵ ਜਗਤ੍ਰ ਕੇ ਜਪਤ ਆਠਹੂ ਜਾਮ ॥੧॥
jaa ko jeev jagatr ke japat aatthahoo jaam |1|To whose (name) all the creatures of the world chanted eight times. 1.

ਬਿਜੈ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਬਰ ਨਾਰੀ ॥

ਨਿਜੁ ਹਾਥਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਜਨੁਕ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥
nij haathan bidh januk savaaree |As if the artist had made it with his own hands.
ਅਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ਤਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਬਿਰਾਜੈ ॥
apramaan tih prabhaa biraajai |He had a very beautiful form
ਜਾ ਕੌ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਚੰਦ੍ਰਮਾ ਲਾਜੈ ॥੨॥
jaa kau nirakh chandramaa laajai |2|Seeing whom even the moon used to blush. 2.

ਭਦ੍ਰ ਸੈਨ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਏਕ ਦਿਨ ਖੇਲਨ ਚੜਿਯੋ ਸਿਕਾਰ ॥
bhadr sain nrip ek din khelan charriyo sikaar |Bhadra Sen Raja went hunting one day.
ਜਾਨ ਬੈਰਿਯਨ ਘਾਤ ਤਿਹ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਦਿਯੋ ਸੰਘਾਰ ॥੩॥
jaan bairiyan ghaat tih taa kau diyo sanghaar |3|Enemies ambushed him and killed him. 3.

ਚਲੀ ਖਬਰਿ ਰਾਨੀ ਪਹਿ ਆਈ ॥
chalee khabar raanee peh aaee |This news reached the queen
ਰਾਜਾ ਹਨੇ ਬੈਰਿਯਨ ਜਾਈ ॥
raajaa hane bairiyan jaaee |That the enemies have gone and killed the king.
ਤਬ ਰਾਨੀ ਮਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
tab raanee man mantr bichaariyo |Then the queen thought in her mind.
ਸੁ ਮੈ ਚੌਪਈ ਮੋ ਕਹਿ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੪॥
su mai chauapee mo keh ddaariyo |4|(The poet says) I have said that in Chaupai. 4.
ਸੁਤ ਬਾਲਕ ਹਮਰੋ ਬਿਧਿ ਕੀਨੋ ॥
sut baalak hamaro bidh keeno |God has made my son (still) small.
ਨਾਥ ਮਾਰਗ ਸੁਰ ਪੁਰ ਕੋ ਲੀਨੋ ॥
naath maarag sur pur ko leeno |And the husband has taken the path to heaven.
ਤਾ ਤੇ ਇਹੈ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਿਚਾਰੋ ॥
taa te ihai charitr bichaaro |So one should consider such a character.
ਛਲ ਕਰਿ ਤਿਨ ਬੈਰਿਨ ਕੋ ਮਾਰੋ ॥੫॥
chhal kar tin bairin ko maaro |5|That enemy should be killed by deception. 5.
ਲਿਖ ਪਤ੍ਰੀ ਤਿਨ ਤੀਰ ਪਠਾਈ ॥
likh patree tin teer patthaaee |He wrote a letter and sent it to the enemy king.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਜੋ ਕਰੀ ਤੈਸਿਯੈ ਪਾਈ ॥
nrip jo karee taisiyai paaee |(And wrote that) what the king has done, that is what he has found.
ਸੂਰਜ ਕਲਾ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਕੌ ਲੀਜੈ ॥
sooraj kalaa duhitaa kau leejai |(Now please take my) daughter Surya Kala
