ਜਾਨੁਕ ਮ੍ਰਿਗੀ ਬਿਸਿਖ ਤਨ ਮਾਰੀ ॥੬॥
jaanuk mrigee bisikh tan maaree |6|It is as if a deer had an arrow stuck in its body (it eats sardines). 6.
ਰੋਵਤ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਕਬੂੰ ਉਠਿ ਗਾਵੈ ॥
rovat kuar kaboon utth gaavai |(She) Kumari sometimes cries and sometimes gets up and sings
ਨਾਚਤ ਕਬਹੂੰ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਨਾਵੈ ॥
naachat kabahoon bachan sunaavai |And sometimes danced and recited the lyrics.
ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਮਿਲਾਇ ਦੇਇ ਮੁਹਿ ਕੋਈ ॥
mitr milaae dee muhi koee |(And says) Give me a friend.
ਜੋ ਮੁਖ ਮਾਗੈ ਦਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਸੋਈ ॥੭॥
jo mukh maagai dayo tih soee |7|(She) who will ask from the mouth, she will give the same to him. 7.
ਏਕ ਸਖੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰੋ ॥
ek sakhee ih bhaat uchaaro |(One day) a Sakhi said thus,
ਸੁਨਹੁ ਮਿਤ੍ਰਨੀਥ ਬਚਨ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥
sunahu mitraneeth bachan hamaaro |Hey friend! Listen to me!
ਜੋ ਤੁਹਿ ਕੌ ਤਵ ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਮਿਲਾਊਾਂ ॥
jo tuhi kau tav mitr milaaooaan |If (I) give you your friend,
ਤਉ ਕਹਾ ਤੁਮ ਤੇ ਬਰ ਪਾਊਾਂ ॥੮॥
tau kahaa tum te bar paaooaan |8|So what boon will I get from you? 8.
ਸਾਹ ਸੁਤਾ ਜਬ ਯੌ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਵਾ ॥
saah sutaa jab yau sun paavaa |When the Shah's daughter heard this,
ਜਨੁਕ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਪੁ ਮੈ ਜਿਯ ਆਵਾ ॥
januk bahur bap mai jiy aavaa |(It felt) as if the soul had returned to (his) body.
ਨਿਧਨੀ ਅਧਿਕ ਮਨਹੁ ਧਨ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
nidhanee adhik manahu dhan paayo |As if a certain person had acquired more wealth.
ਜਨੁ ਕਰ ਅੰਮਿਤ ਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਕੇ ਆਯੋ ॥੯॥
jan kar amit mrit ke aayo |9|It is as if the hand of the dying person has got amrit. 9.
ਜਾ ਸੌ ਲਗਨ ਕੁਅਰ ਕੀ ਹੁਤੀ ॥
jaa sau lagan kuar kee hutee |With which Kunwar was devoted,
ਤਾ ਸੌ ਭੇਸ ਧਾਰਿ ਕੈ ਸੁਤੀ ॥
taa sau bhes dhaar kai sutee |She disguised herself and slept.
ਰਾਜ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਨ ਮੈ ਕਿਯਾ ਪਿਯਾਨਾ ॥
raaj grihan mai kiyaa piyaanaa |That maid went to the palace
ਭਾਖਤ ਭਈ ਬਚਨ ਬਿਧਿ ਨਾਨਾ ॥੧੦॥
bhaakhat bhee bachan bidh naanaa |10|And started talking in many ways. 10.
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੁਤ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਜੁ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ਭਈ ॥
nrip sut triy ju tihaare bhee |Hey Raj Kumar! The woman who has become yours.
ਮੈ ਤਿਨ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਧਾਮ ਪਠਈ ॥
mai tin tumare dhaam patthee |I have sent him to your house.
ਤੁਮ ਤਿਹ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕੋ ਚਿਤ ਚੁਰਾਯੋ ॥
tum tih triy ko chit churaayo |You have stolen that woman's image.
ਅਬ ਚਲਿ ਕੁਅਰ ਕਰੋ ਮਨ ਭਾਯੋ ॥੧੧॥
ab chal kuar karo man bhaayo |11|Hey Raj Kumar! Now go and do whatever you want. 11.
ਜਬ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੁਤ ਐਸੇ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
jab nrip sut aaise sun paaee |When Raj Kumar heard this,
ਚਲਿਯੋ ਨ ਪਨਹੀ ਪਾਇ ਚੜਾਈ ॥
chaliyo na panahee paae charraaee |So he ran without shoes on his feet.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਜੜ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥
bhed abhed jarr kachh na bichaaraa |The fool did not understand the secret
ਆਯੋ ਸਾਹ ਸੁਤਾ ਕੈ ਦ੍ਵਾਰਾ ॥੧੨॥
aayo saah sutaa kai dvaaraa |12|And came to the door of Shah's daughter. 12.
ਦਿਯਾ ਬੁਝਾਇ ਦਯੋ ਆਗੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ॥
diyaa bujhaae dayo aage triy |(That) woman first extinguished the lamp
ਆਵਤ ਭਯੋ ਅੰਧੇਰੇ ਘਰ ਪਿਯ ॥
aavat bhayo andhere ghar piy |And Beloved entered the dark house.
ਚਿਤ ਅਟਕਾ ਜਾ ਸੌ ਸੋ ਜਾਨੀ ॥
chit attakaa jaa sau so jaanee |The friend ('Jani') with whom his mind was attached.
ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਕਸਿ ਠਾਨੀ ॥੧੩॥
kaam kriyaa taa sau kas tthaanee |13|Played a lot with him. 13.
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਿ ਧਾਮ ਸਿਧਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
kaam bhog kar dhaam sidhaariyo |(He) went home after having indulged in lust
ਮੂਰਖ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਬਿਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
moorakh kachh na bichaar bichaariyo |And the fool thought nothing of it.
ਦਿਯਾ ਬੁਝਾਇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਰੋਜ ਬੁਲਾਵੈ ॥
diyaa bujhaae triy roj bulaavai |After extinguishing the lamp (she) the woman called (him) every day
ਕਾਮ ਕੇਲ ਕਰਿ ਕੁਵਤਿ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥੧੪॥
kaam kel kar kuvat kamaavai |14|And with full force ('Kuvati') she was performing sexual activities. 14.
ਦੇਨ ਕਹਾ ਸੂ ਦੂਤਿਯਹਿ ਦੀਨਾ ॥
