ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਸੁਨਿ ਰਾਨੀ ਸ੍ਯਾਨੀ ਬਚਨ ਸੀਸ ਰਹੀ ਨਿਹੁਰਾਇ ॥
sun raanee sayaanee bachan sees rahee nihuraae |The wise queen kept her head down and kept silent after listening to the words.
ਸੁਘਰ ਹੋਇ ਸੋ ਜਾਨਈ ਜੜ ਕੋ ਕਹਾ ਉਪਾਇ ॥੧੩॥
sughar hoe so jaanee jarr ko kahaa upaae |13|If it is simple, then it should be understood, what is the way to explain the fool. 13.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥
arril |adamant:
ਜੋ ਚਤਰੋ ਨਰ ਹੋਇ ਸੁ ਭੇਵ ਪਛਾਨਈ ॥
jo chataro nar hoe su bhev pachhaanee |A man who is shrewd recognizes the secret.
ਮੂਰਖ ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਹਾ ਜਿਯ ਜਾਨਈ ॥
moorakh bhed abhed kahaa jiy jaanee |How can a fool understand the difference between the two.
ਤਾ ਤੈ ਹੌਹੂੰ ਕਛੂ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਬਨਾਇ ਹੋ ॥
taa tai hauahoon kachhoo charitr banaae ho |So I will also make a character
ਹੋ ਯਾ ਰਾਨੀ ਕੇ ਸਹਿਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਹਿ ਕੋ ਘਾਇ ਹੋ ॥੧੪॥
ho yaa raanee ke sahit nripeh ko ghaae ho |14|And the queen will kill the king. 14.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥
chauapee |twenty four:
ਮੂਰਖ ਕਛੂ ਭੇਦ ਨਹਿ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
moorakh kachhoo bhed neh paayo |The fool did not understand any of the secrets.
ਸਾਚੀ ਕੋ ਝੂਠੀ ਠਹਰਾਯੋ ॥
saachee ko jhootthee tthaharaayo |The true (female) was assumed to be false
ਝੂਠੀ ਕੋ ਸਾਚੀ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨ੍ਯੋ ॥
jhootthee ko saachee kar maanayo |And considered the false as true.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਕਛੂ ਨਹਿ ਜਾਨ੍ਯੋ ॥੧੫॥
bhed abhed kachhoo neh jaanayo |15|Do not think of difference as nothing. 15.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਇਕ ਸੌ ਇਕਾਸੀਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੧੮੧॥੩੫੦੦॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade ik sau ikaaseevo charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |181|3500|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 181st chapter of Mantri Bhup Samvad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 181.3500. goes on

ਵਹੈ ਸਵਤਿ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਹੁਤੀ ਜਾ ਕੋ ਰੂਪ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
vahai savat taa kee hutee jaa ko roop apaar |Her posture was of immense beauty.
ਸੁਰਪਤਿ ਸੇ ਨਿਰਖਤ ਸਦਾ ਮੁਖ ਛਬਿ ਭਾਨ ਕੁਮਾਰਿ ॥੧॥
surapat se nirakhat sadaa mukh chhab bhaan kumaar |1|Like Indra, they always saw the image of that Bhan Kumari's face. 1.

ਭਾਨ ਕਲਾ ਐਸੇ ਬਹੁ ਬਰਖ ਬਿਤਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
bhaan kalaa aaise bahu barakh bitaae kai |Bhan Kala spent many years like this.
ਨਿਸਿਸ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਕੀ ਬਾਤ ਗਈ ਜਿਯ ਆਇ ਕੈ ॥
nisis prabhaa kee baat gee jiy aae kai |(One day) Nisis Prabha's words came to his mind.
ਸੋਤ ਰਾਵ ਤਿਹ ਸੰਗ ਬਿਲੋਕ੍ਯੋ ਜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
sot raav tih sang bilokayo jaae kai |She saw the king sleeping with her
ਹੋ ਫਿਰਿ ਆਈ ਘਰ ਮਾਝ ਦੁਹੁਨ ਕੋ ਘਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੨॥
ho fir aaee ghar maajh duhun ko ghaae kai |2|And after killing both of them, she came to her house. 2.

ਅਧਿਕ ਕੋਪ ਕਰਿ ਖੜਗ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
adhik kop kar kharrag prahaariyo |He was very angry and attacked Kharag
ਦੁਹੂਅਨ ਚਾਰਿ ਟੂਕ ਕਰਿ ਡਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
duhooan chaar ttook kar ddaariyo |And made four pieces of both of them.
ਮੈ ਇਹ ਜੜ ਸੋ ਭੇਦ ਬਤਾਯੋ ॥
mai ih jarr so bhed bataayo |(I started saying in my mind) I told this fool a secret,
ਇਹ ਮੋਹੁ ਝੂਠੀ ਠਹਰਾਯੋ ॥੩॥
eih mohu jhootthee tthaharaayo |3|But it made me a liar. 3.
ਸਵਤਿ ਸਹਿਤ ਰਾਜਾ ਕੌ ਘਾਈ ॥
savat sahit raajaa kau ghaaee |(He) killed the king with sleep
ਪੌਛਿ ਖੜਗ ਬਹੁਰੋ ਘਰ ਆਈ ॥
pauachh kharrag bahuro ghar aaee |And wiped the sword and returned home.
ਸੋਇ ਰਹੀ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
soe rahee man mai sukh paayo |She fell asleep with happiness in her mind
ਭਏ ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਯੌ ਕੂਕਿ ਸੁਨਾਯੋ ॥੪॥
bhe praat yau kook sunaayo |4|And as soon as it was morning, she started to recite like this. 4.
ਰੋਇ ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਭੇ ਬਚਨ ਉਚਾਰੇ ॥
roe praat bhe bachan uchaare |In the morning, she started crying and saying,
ਬੈਠੇ ਕਹਾ ਰਾਵ ਜੂ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
baitthe kahaa raav joo maare |What are you people doing sitting, the King has been killed.
ਹਮਰੇ ਸੁਖ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਬਿਧਿ ਖੋਏ ॥
hamare sukh sabh hee bidh khoe |The law has taken away all our happiness.
ਯੌ ਸੁਨਿ ਬੈਨ ਸਕਲ ਭ੍ਰਿਤ ਰੋਏ ॥੫॥
yau sun bain sakal bhrit roe |5|Hearing these words, all the servants started crying. 5.
ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਰਾਵ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਸਹਿਤ ਨਿਹਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
mritak raav triy sahit nihaariyo |Saw the dead king with his wife.
ਤਬ ਰਾਨੀ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
tab raanee ih bhaat uchaariyo |Then the queen said thus,
ਮੋ ਕਹ ਸਾਥ ਰਾਵ ਕੇ ਜਾਰਹੁ ॥
mo kah saath raav ke jaarahu |Burn me with the king
ਮੋਰੇ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਸਿਰ ਢਾਰਹੁ ॥੬॥
more chhatr putr sir dtaarahu |6|And put an umbrella on my son's head. 6.
ਤਬ ਤਾ ਪੈ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਸਭ ਆਏ ॥
tab taa pai mantree sabh aae |Then all the ministers came to him
ਰੋਇ ਰੋਇ ਯੌ ਬਚਨ ਸੁਨਾਏ ॥
roe roe yau bachan sunaae |And started crying like this
ਛਤ੍ਰ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਪਰ ਢਾਰੋ ॥
chhatr putr ke sir par dtaaro |Let the umbrella swing over the son's head.
ਆਜ ਉਚਿਤ ਨਹਿ ਜਰਨ ਤਿਹਾਰੋ ॥੭॥
aaj uchit neh jaran tihaaro |7|But it is not appropriate for you to burn today.7.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਮਰਿਯੋ ਸਿਸੁ ਸੁਤ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਤੈ ਜਰਿ ਹੈ ਦੁਖ ਪਾਇ ॥
nripat mariyo sis sut rahiyo tai jar hai dukh paae |The king is dead, the son is still a child and you want to burn because of the grief (of the king's death).
ਜਿਨਿ ਐਸੋ ਹਠ ਕੀਜਿਯੈ ਰਾਜ ਬੰਸ ਤੇ ਜਾਇ ॥੮॥
jin aaiso hatth keejiyai raaj bans te jaae |8|Don't do such a stubborn thing, otherwise the state will go away from Bans. 8.

ਸਭਨ ਸੁਨਤ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਉਚਾਰੀ ॥
