ਦੁਤਿਯ ਦਿਵਸ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਘਰ ਜਾਵੈ ॥
dutiy divas taa ke ghar jaavai |And on the second day he would go to the house of that (ascetic) woman.
ਰਾਨੀ ਭੇਸ ਸੰਨ੍ਯਾਸਿਨਿ ਧਰੈ ॥
raanee bhes sanayaasin dharai |Rani disguised as a monk
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਰਾਜਾ ਤਨ ਕਰੈ ॥੧੯॥
kaam bhog raajaa tan karai |19|Having sex with the king. 19.
ਤਿਹ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਨਾਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਨੈ ॥
tih nrip dutiy naar kar jaanai |The king considered her as his second wife.
ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਨ ਮੂੜ੍ਰਹ ਪਛਾਨੈ ॥
bhed abhed na moorrrah pachhaanai |(He) the fool did not understand the difference.
ਇਸਤ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਨਹੀ ਲਖਿ ਪਾਵੈ ॥
eisatree charitr nahee lakh paavai |(He) was not understanding the character of the woman
ਨਿਤਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਅਪਨੋ ਮੂੰਡ ਮੁੰਡਾਵੈ ॥੨੦॥
nitaprat apano moondd munddaavai |20|And (the king) used to shave his head daily.

ਬਿਧੀ ਸੈਨ ਰਾਜਾ ਇਕ ਸੂਰੋ ॥
bidhee sain raajaa ik sooro |There was a brave king named Bidhi Sen
ਤੇਗ ਦੇਗ ਦੁਹੂੰਅਨਿ ਕਰਿ ਪੂਰੋ ॥
teg deg duhoonan kar pooro |Who was proficient in both Deg and Teg.
ਤੇਜਵਾਨ ਦੁਤਿਵਾਨ ਅਤੁਲ ਬਲ ॥
tejavaan dutivaan atul bal |(He was) mighty, handsome and of great strength.
ਅਰਿ ਅਨੇਕ ਜੀਤੇ ਜਿਨ ਦਲਿ ਮਲਿ ॥੧॥
ar anek jeete jin dal mal |1|He had defeated many enemies. 1.
ਬਿਧ੍ਰਯ ਮਤੀ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਇਕ ਤਾ ਕੇ ॥
bidhray matee duhitaa ik taa ke |He had a daughter named Bidhya Mati
ਨਰੀ ਨਾਗਨੀ ਸਮ ਨਹਿ ਜਾ ਕੇ ॥
naree naaganee sam neh jaa ke |Whom there was (no) male or female equal.
ਅਪ੍ਰਮਾਨ ਤਿਹ ਸੇਜ ਸੁਹਾਵੈ ॥
apramaan tih sej suhaavai |His sage was very pleasant
ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਰੋਜ ਬਿਲੋਕਨ ਆਵੈ ॥੨॥
rav sas roj bilokan aavai |2|(Whom) the moon and the sun used to come to see every day. 2.
ਤਾ ਕੋ ਲਗਿਯੋ ਏਕ ਸੰਗ ਨੇਹਾ ॥
taa ko lagiyo ek sang nehaa |He fell in love with one,
ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਸਾਵਨ ਕੋ ਬਰਿਸਤ ਮੇਹਾ ॥
jayon saavan ko barisat mehaa |As it rains in the month of Savana.
ਚਤੁਰ ਕੁਅਰ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਭਨਿਜੈ ॥
chatur kuar tih naam bhanijai |His name was Chatur Kumar.
ਕਵਨ ਪੁਰਖ ਪਟਤਰ ਤਿਹ ਦਿਜੈ ॥੩॥
kavan purakh pattatar tih dijai |3|To what man can he be compared? (The meaning cannot be given. 3.
ਬਿਧ੍ਯਾ ਦੇਈ ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਰਸਿ ਕੈ ॥
bidhayaa deee ik din ras kai |Bidhya Dei happily one day
ਬੋਲਿ ਲਿਯਾ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਕਹ ਕਸਿ ਕੈ ॥
bol liyaa preetam kah kas kai |Forcefully called Pritam.
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤਿਹ ਸਾਥ ਕਮਾਯੋ ॥
kaam bhog tih saath kamaayo |Had sex with him.
ਤਰੁਨੀ ਤਰੁਨ ਅਧਿਕ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਯੋ ॥੪॥
tarunee tarun adhik sukh paayo |4|Both women and men got a lot of happiness. 4.
ਬਿਧੀ ਸੈਨ ਸੌ ਕਿਨਹਿ ਜਤਾਈ ॥
bidhee sain sau kineh jataaee |Someone told Bidhi Sen
ਤੋਰਿ ਸੁਤਾ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਜਾਰ ਬੁਲਾਈ ॥
tor sutaa grih jaar bulaaee |That your daughter has invited a friend to the house.
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਤਿਹ ਸਾਥ ਕਰਤ ਹੈ ॥
kaam bhog tih saath karat hai |She has sex with him
ਤੋ ਤੇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਨਹਿ ਨੈਕੁ ਡਰਤ ਹੈ ॥੫॥
to te nrip neh naik ddarat hai |5|And O Rajan! She is not afraid of you at all. 5.
ਤਬ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸਾਥ ਤਿਸੀ ਕੋ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
tab nrip saath tisee ko lai kai |Then the king took him with him
ਜਾਤ ਭਯੋ ਤਹ ਅਧਿਕ ਰਿਸੈ ਕੈ ॥
jaat bhayo tah adhik risai kai |And got angry and walked there.
ਬਿਧ੍ਯਾ ਮਤੀ ਜਬੈ ਸੁਨਿ ਪਾਈ ॥
bidhayaa matee jabai sun paaee |When Vidhya Mati heard,
ਮੀਤ ਸਹਿਤ ਜਿਯ ਮੈ ਡਰ ਪਾਈ ॥੬॥
meet sahit jiy mai ddar paaee |6|(Then) Mitra was very scared in her heart. 6.
ਖੋਦਿ ਛਾਤ ਦ੍ਵੈ ਛੇਦ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥
khod chhaat dvai chhed savaare |(He) dug up the roof and made two arches,
ਜਿਹ ਆਵਤ ਵੈ ਰਾਹ ਬਿਚਾਰੇ ॥
jih aavat vai raah bichaare |From which side he had considered them coming (meaning had seen them coming).
ਤਿਹ ਮਗ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਬਿਸਟਾ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਕਰਾ ॥
tih mag hvai bisattaa duhoon karaa |Both of them (through the maghoras) did grief.
ਦੂਤ ਸਹਿਤ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਪਰਾ ॥੭॥
doot sahit nrip ke sir paraa |7|(Who) fell on the king's head along with the angel.7.
ਅੰਧ ਗਏ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਸੂਝ ਨ ਆਯੋ ॥
andh ge hvai soojh na aayo |(Both of them) became blind and could not see anything.
ਤਿਸੀ ਪੈਡ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਜਾਰ ਪਠਾਯੋ ॥
tisee paidd grihi jaar patthaayo |By the same route the fellow was taken home.
ਰਾਜਾ ਭੇਦ ਅਭੇਦ ਨ ਲਹਾ ॥
raajaa bhed abhed na lahaa |Raja Bhed Abhed could not understand anything.
ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਕਾਮ ਕੈ ਗਈ ਕਹਾ ॥੮॥
duhitaa kaam kai gee kahaa |8|(Thinking) Daughter has gone somewhere for some work. (Meaning, where has the daughter gone after performing lust) ॥8॥
ਬਿਸਟਾ ਰਹੀ ਦੁਹੂੰ ਕੇ ਲਗਿ ਕੈ ॥
bisattaa rahee duhoon ke lag kai |Misfortune fell (on both of them).
ਸੁ ਘਰ ਗਯੋ ਤਿਹ ਕੇ ਸਿਰ ਹਗਿ ਕੈ ॥
su ghar gayo tih ke sir hag kai |That person hugged both of them on the head and left.
ਘਰੀਕ ਲਗੀ ਧੋਵਤੇ ਬਦਨਨ ॥
ghareek lagee dhovate badanan |(They) took an hour to wash their faces.
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਗਏ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਕੈ ਸਦਨਨ ॥੯॥
bahur ge duhitaa kai sadanan |9|After this (they) went to the daughter's house. 9.
ਤਹਾ ਜਾਇ ਜੌ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਨਿਹਰਾ ॥
tahaa jaae jau nripat niharaa |Going there, what the king saw
ਜਾਰ ਵਾਰ ਕਛੁ ਦਿਸਟਿ ਨ ਪਰਾ ॥
jaar vaar kachh disatt na paraa |So no friend was seen.
ਤਬ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਉਲਟਿ ਤਿਸੀ ਕੋ ਮਰਿਯੋ ॥
tab nrip ulatt tisee ko mariyo |Then the king killed the same (person) on the contrary
