ਨਵਲ ਕੁਅਰਹਿ ਬਿਲੋਕਿ ਹਿਯੋ ਲਲਚਾਇਯੋ ॥
naval kuareh bilok hiyo lalachaaeiyo |Seeing Naval Kumar, he was tempted.
ਪਠੈ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਨਿਜੁ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਬੋਲ ਪਠਾਇਯੋ ॥
patthai sahacharee nij grih bol patthaaeiyo |He sent Sakhi and invited him to his house.
ਅਧਿਕ ਮਾਨਿ ਰੁਚਿ ਰਮੀ ਹਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
adhik maan ruch ramee harakh upajaae kai |Being very happy, he engaged in Raman with her.
ਹੋ ਕਾਮ ਰੀਤਿ ਜੁਤ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਅਧਿਕ ਮਚਾਇ ਕੈ ॥੪॥
ho kaam reet jut preetam adhik machaae kai |4|Made the ritual of lust with the beloved very much. 4.
ਛੈਲ ਛੈਲਨੀ ਛਕੈ ਅਧਿਕ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵਹੀ ॥
chhail chhailanee chhakai adhik sukh paavahee |The Beloved and the Beloved were rejoicing in attaining great happiness (through Bhog).
ਜੋਰ ਜੋਰ ਚਖੁ ਚਾਰ ਦੋਊ ਮੁਸਕਾਵਹੀ ॥
jor jor chakh chaar doaoo musakaavahee |They were smiling with beautiful eyes.
ਲਪਟ ਲਪਟ ਕਰਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਨ ਛਿਨ ਇਕ ਛੋਰਹੀ ॥
lapatt lapatt kar jaeh na chhin ik chhorahee |They were clinging (to each other) and did not leave even for an inch
ਹੋ ਕਰਿ ਅਧਰਨ ਕੋ ਪਾਨ ਕੁਚਾਨ ਮਰੋਰਹੀ ॥੫॥
ho kar adharan ko paan kuchaan marorahee |5|And they used to bite their lips and twist their legs. 5.
ਚੌਰਾਸਿਯਨ ਆਸਨਨ ਕਰਤ ਬਨਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
chauaraasiyan aasanan karat banaae kai |He used to perform eighty-four postures well.
ਕਾਮ ਕਲੋਲ ਮਚਾਇ ਅਧਿਕ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
kaam kalol machaae adhik sukh paae kai |They used to get a lot of happiness by doing things.
ਕੋਕਸਾਰ ਕੇ ਭੇਦ ਉਚਰੈ ਬਨਾਇ ਕਰ ॥
kokasaar ke bhed ucharai banaae kar |Coke used to tell the secrets of the essence
ਹੋ ਨਿਰਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਦੋਊ ਮੁਸਕਾਇ ਕਰਿ ॥੬॥
ho nirakh prabhaa bal jaeh doaoo musakaae kar |6|And both of them used to go to sacrifice laughing after seeing (each other's) beauty.6.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥

ਏਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਇਮਿ ਜਾਰ ਉਚਾਰੋ ॥
ek divas im jaar uchaaro |One day Mitra said (to the queen),
ਸੁਨੁ ਰਾਨੀ ਤੈ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਹਮਾਰੋ ॥
sun raanee tai kahiyo hamaaro |O Queen! listen to me
ਜਿਨਿ ਤਵ ਨਾਥ ਬਿਲੋਕੈ ਆਈ ॥
jin tav naath bilokai aaee |Maybe your husband came and saw it.
ਦੁਹੂੰਅਨ ਹਨੇ ਕੋਪ ਉਪਜਾਈ ॥੭॥
duhoonan hane kop upajaaee |7|Then he will get angry and kill both of them.7.
ਤ੍ਰਿਯੋ ਬਾਚ ॥
triyo baach |The woman said:
ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਰਾਵ ਤਨ ਭੇਦ ਜਤਾਊ ॥
pratham raav tan bhed jataaoo |First I will tell the whole thing to the king.
ਬਹੁਰਿ ਢਢੋਰੇ ਨਗਰ ਦਿਵਾਊ ॥
bahur dtadtore nagar divaaoo |Then I will fight in the city.
ਦੈ ਦੁੰਦਭਿ ਪੁਨਿ ਤੋਹਿ ਬੁਲੈਹੌ ॥
dai dundabh pun tohi bulaihau |Then I will ring the bell and call you
ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਰੁਚਿ ਮਾਨਿ ਮਚੈਹੌ ॥੮॥
kaam bhog ruch maan machaihau |8|And we will indulge in pleasure with interest. 8.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਅਧਿਕ ਭੋਗ ਕਰਿ ਮੀਤਹਿ ਦਯੋ ਉਠਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
adhik bhog kar meeteh dayo utthaae kai |Raised (i.e. sent away) Mitra after a great indulgence.
ਆਪੁ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਸੌ ਕਹੀ ਬਾਤ ਸਮੁਝਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
aap nripat sau kahee baat samujhaae kai |He explained to the king and spoke
ਸਿਵ ਮੋ ਕੌ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਹੌ ਆਇ ਕਰਿ ॥
siv mo kau ih bhaat kahiyo hau aae kar |That Shiva has come and told me.
ਹੋ ਸੋ ਹਉ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਤੀਰ ਕਹੌ ਅਬ ਆਇ ਕਰਿ ॥੯॥
ho so hau tumare teer kahau ab aae kar |9|Now I come to you and say. 9.

ਜਬ ਦਿਨ ਏਕ ਸਭਾਗਾ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਹੈ ॥
jab din ek sabhaagaa hvai hai |When will be an auspicious day
ਮਹਾਦੇਵ ਮੇਰੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਐ ਹੈ ॥
mahaadev mere grih aai hai |Then Mahadev will come to my house.
ਨਿਜੁ ਹਾਥਨ ਦੁੰਦਭੀ ਬਜਾਵੈ ॥
nij haathan dundabhee bajaavai |They will play Dundbhi with their hands
ਕੂਕਿ ਅਧਿਕ ਸਭ ਪੁਰਹਿ ਸੁਨਾਵੈ ॥੧੦॥
kook adhik sabh pureh sunaavai |10|(Whose) sound will be heard in the whole city. 10.
ਜਬ ਤੁਮ ਐਸ ਸਬਦ ਸੁਨਿ ਲੈਯਹੁ ॥
jab tum aais sabad sun laiyahu |When you hear such a sound
ਤਬ ਉਠ ਧਾਮ ਹਮਾਰੇ ਐਯਹੁ ॥
tab utth dhaam hamaare aaiyahu |Then get up and come to my palace.
ਭੇਦ ਕਿਸੂ ਔਰਹਿ ਨਹਿ ਕਹਿਯਹੁ ॥
bhed kisoo aauareh neh kahiyahu |Not to tell (this) secret to anyone else
ਭੋਗ ਸਮੌ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਕੋ ਭਯੋ ਲਹਿਯਹੁ ॥੧੧॥
bhog samau triy ko bhayo lahiyahu |11|And to understand that the time of woman's pleasure has come. 11.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਤੁਰਤ ਆਨਿ ਮੋ ਕੋ ਭਜਹੁ ਸੁਨੁ ਰਾਜਾ ਸੁਖਧਾਮ ॥
turat aan mo ko bhajahu sun raajaa sukhadhaam |O Sukhdham King! listen (Then you) come immediately and indulge with me.
ਪਲ੍ਰਯੋ ਪਰੋਸੋ ਹੋਇ ਸੁਤ ਮੋਹਨ ਰਖਿਯਹੁ ਨਾਮ ॥੧੨॥
palrayo paroso hoe sut mohan rakhiyahu naam |12|Plia Plosya will be a son (and we will name him Mohan). 12.
ਯੌ ਕਹਿ ਕੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੋ ਬਚਨ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਤੇ ਦਿਯੋ ਉਠਾਇ ॥
yau keh kai nrip so bachan grih te diyo utthaae |Saying this, the king was sent away from home
ਪਠੈ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਜਾਰ ਕੌ ਲੀਨੋ ਨਿਕਟ ਬੁਲਾਇ ॥੧੩॥
patthai sahacharee jaar kau leeno nikatt bulaae |13|And sent a friend and called the friend. 13.

ਕਾਮ ਭੋਗ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸੋ ਕਿਯੋ ॥

ਦ੍ਰਿੜ ਕਰਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਦਮਾਮੋ ਦਿਯੋ ॥
drirr kar bahut damaamo diyo |And played the damama very loudly.
ਕੂਕਿ ਕੂਕਿ ਪੁਰ ਸਕਲ ਸੁਨਾਇਸਿ ॥
kook kook pur sakal sunaaeis |Kuk Kuk made the whole town hear
ਭੋਗ ਸਮੈ ਰਾਨੀ ਕੋ ਆਇਸਿ ॥੧੪॥
bhog samai raanee ko aaeis |14|That the time for the queen's indulgence has come. 14.
ਬਚਨ ਸੁਨਤ ਰਾਜਾ ਉਠਿ ਧਯੋ ॥
bachan sunat raajaa utth dhayo |Hearing the words, the king came running
ਭੋਗ ਸਮੋ ਰਾਨੀ ਕੋ ਭਯੋ ॥
bhog samo raanee ko bhayo |That the time for the queen's indulgence has come.
