ਤਬੈ ਆਪਨੇ ਸੀਸ ਪੈ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਢਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੯੧॥
tabai aapane sees pai chhatr dtaariyo |91|Then (he) swung the umbrella over his head. 91.
ਜਬੈ ਸਿਧ ਪਾਲੈ ਘਨੀ ਸੈਨ ਕੂਟੀ ॥
jabai sidh paalai ghanee sain koottee |When Siddh Pal crushed a large army,
ਬਚੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਲੈ ਕੈ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰ ਫੂਟੀ ॥
bachai praan lai kai chahoon or foottee |So the remaining (army) scattered here and there saving their lives.
ਲਈ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੀ ਸਿਰੈ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਢਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
lee paatisaahee sirai chhatr dtaariyo |(Dewan Siddh Pal) took the kingdom (and swung the umbrella over his) head.
ਪਰਿਯੋ ਪਾਸੁ ਬਾਚ੍ਰਯੋ ਅਰਿਯੋ ਸੋ ਸੰਘਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੯੨॥
pariyo paas baachrayo ariyo so sanghaariyo |92|He who came to shelter, he was saved. He who resisted was killed. 92.
ਲਈ ਪਾਤਸਾਹੀ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਯੌ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥
lee paatasaahee hridai yau bichaaraa |He thought like this in his heart after gaining the kingdom
ਕਰਿਯੋ ਕਾਜ ਨੀਕੋ ਨ ਸਾਹੈ ਸੰਘਾਰਾ ॥
kariyo kaaj neeko na saahai sanghaaraa |That he did not do a good job by killing the king.
ਜਗ੍ਯੋ ਰੈਨਿ ਸਾਰੀ ਧਰਿਯੋ ਧ੍ਯਾਨ ਤਾ ਕੋ ॥
jagayo rain saaree dhariyo dhayaan taa ko |Stayed awake all night and meditated on it.
ਦਿਯੋ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੀ ਮਿਲੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਤ ਵਾ ਕੋ ॥੯੩॥
diyo paatisaahee milai praat vaa ko |93|(That) whatever is found in the morning, should be given to the king. 93.
ਕਸਾਈਨ ਕੌ ਦਾਸ ਤਹ ਏਕ ਆਯੋ ॥
kasaaeen kau daas tah ek aayo |A butcher's servant came there in the morning.
ਨਦੀ ਡਾਰਬੇ ਓਝਰੀ ਲੈ ਸਿਧਾਯੋ ॥
nadee ddaarabe ojharee lai sidhaayo |(Who) was going to throw himself in the river with an urn.
ਗਹਿਯੋ ਜਾਹਿ ਤਾ ਕੋ ਦਈ ਪਾਤਿਸਾਹੀ ॥
gahiyo jaeh taa ko dee paatisaahee |He was captured and given the kingdom.
ਧਰਿਯੋ ਜੈਨ ਆਲਾਵਦੀ ਨਾਮ ਤਾਹੀ ॥੯੪॥
dhariyo jain aalaavadee naam taahee |94|His name was Jain-Alavadi. 94.
ਚੌਪਈ ॥

ਜਬ ਹੀ ਰਾਜ ਤਵਨ ਕਹ ਦਯੋ ॥
jab hee raaj tavan kah dayo |When he was given the kingdom,
ਸੁਤਾ ਸਹਿਤ ਬਨ ਮਾਰਗ ਲਯੋ ॥
sutaa sahit ban maarag layo |Then he took the path of the forest with his daughter.
ਬਦ੍ਰਕਾਸਿ ਮਹਿ ਕਿਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਵੇਸਾ ॥
badrakaas meh kiyaa pravesaa |Including sonship in Badrakasi' (Badri Nath).
ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਸਹਿਤ ਅਤਿਥ ਕੇ ਭੇਸਾ ॥੯੫॥
duhitaa sahit atith ke bhesaa |95|Entered in the guise of a saint. 95.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਜਬ ਬਹੁ ਤਹ ਤਪਸਾ ਕਰੀ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਭਈ ਜਗ ਮਾਇ ॥
jab bahu tah tapasaa karee pragatt bhee jag maae |When (he) did a lot of penance there (then) the world mother (goddess) appeared.
ਬਰੰਬ੍ਰੂਹ ਤਾ ਸੌ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਜੋ ਤੁਹਿ ਸੁਤਾ ਸੁਹਾਇ ॥੯੬॥
baranbraooh taa sau kahiyo jo tuhi sutaa suhaae |96|Said to him, O daughter! Ask for whatever you like ('Brambruh') ॥96॥

ਮੈਯਾ ਇਹੈ ਦਾਨੁ ਮੁਹਿ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
maiyaa ihai daan muhi deejai |Oh mother! Give me that
ਰਛਾ ਆਪੁ ਹਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
rachhaa aap hamaaree keejai |And create me yourself.
ਛਤ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਿ ਤੁਰਕ ਨ ਜਾਇ ॥
chhatraanee grihi turak na jaae |Chhatrani should never go to Turk's house,
ਮੁਹਿ ਬਰ ਦੇਹੁ ਇਹੇ ਜਗ ਮਾਇ ॥੯੭॥
muhi bar dehu ihe jag maae |97|O Jagmata! Give me this blessing. 97.
ਚਰਨਨ ਰਹੈ ਤਿਹਾਰੈ ਚਿਤਾ ॥
charanan rahai tihaarai chitaa |May (my) mind (always) be at your feet
ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਮਹਿ ਹੋਇ ਅਨਗਨਤ ਬਿਤਾ ॥
grih meh hoe anaganat bitaa |And let there be countless wealth in the house.
ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਨ ਜੀਤਿ ਹਮੈ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਇ ॥
satru na jeet hamai koee jaae |Let no enemy win us
ਤੁਮ ਮਹਿ ਰਹੈ ਮੋਰ ਮਨ ਮਾਇ ॥੯੮॥
tum meh rahai mor man maae |98|And oh mother! May my heart always be fixed on you. 98.
ਜਗ ਮਾਤੈ ਐਸੇ ਬਰੁ ਦੀਯੋ ॥
jag maatai aaise bar deeyo |Jagat Mata gave such blessing
ਤਿਨ ਕਹ ਰਾਜ ਅਸਾਮ ਕੋ ਕੀਯੋ ॥
tin kah raaj asaam ko keeyo |and made him the king of Assam.
ਅਬ ਲਗਿ ਰਾਜ ਤਹਾ ਤੈ ਕਰੈ ॥
ab lag raaj tahaa tai karai |(He) still reigns there
ਦਿਲੀਪਤਿ ਕੀ ਕਾਨਿ ਨ ਧਰੈ ॥੯੯॥
dileepat kee kaan na dharai |99|And does not care about the king of Delhi. 99.
ਜਿਨ ਕਹ ਰਾਜ ਭਵਾਨੀ ਦੀਯੋ ॥
jin kah raaj bhavaanee deeyo |To whom Bhavani has (herself) given the kingdom,
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਛੀਨਿ ਨ ਕਿਨਹੂੰ ਲੀਯੋ ॥
tin te chheen na kinahoon leeyo |No one can take away from him.
ਅਬ ਲੌ ਕਰਤ ਤਹਾ ਕੋ ਰਾਜਾ ॥
ab lau karat tahaa ko raajaa |(He) still reigns there
ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਘਰ ਸਾਜਾ ॥੧੦੦॥
ridh sidh sabh hee ghar saajaa |100|And in the house all the Ridhis Siddhis are present. 100.
ਪ੍ਰਥਮ ਦਿਲਿਸ ਸੌ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੁਝਾਯੋ ॥
pratham dilis sau pitaa jujhaayo |First fought the father with the king of Delhi.
ਪੁਨਿ ਦੇਬੀ ਤੇ ਅਸ ਬਰ ਪਾਯੋ ॥
pun debee te as bar paayo |Then received this boon from Devi.
ਅੰਗ ਦੇਸ ਕੇ ਭਏ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਰਾ ॥
ang des ke bhe nripaaraa |(His father) became the king of 'Ang Des' (Assam).
ਇਹ ਛਲ ਅਬਲਾ ਧਰਮ ਉਬਾਰਾ ॥੧੦੧॥
eih chhal abalaa dharam ubaaraa |101|With this trick (that) Abla saved his religion. 101.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਦੋ ਸੌ ਸਤਾਨਵੋ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੨੯੭॥੫੭੫੦॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥
eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade do sau sataanavo charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |297|5750|afajoon|Here is the conclusion of the 297th charitra of Mantri Bhup Sambad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 297.5750. goes on

ਸੁਨਿਯਤ ਏਕ ਸਾਹ ਕੀ ਦਾਰਾ ॥
suniyat ek saah kee daaraa |A king's wife used to listen
ਰੂਪਵਾਨ ਗੁਨਵਾਨ ਅਪਾਰਾ ॥
roopavaan gunavaan apaaraa |(Who) was very handsome and virtuous.
ਝਿਲਮਿਲ ਦੇ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਭਨਿਜੈ ॥
jhilamil de tih naam bhanijai |His name was called (Dei) of Jhilmil.
ਕੋ ਦੂਸਰ ਪਟਤਰ ਤਿਹ ਦਿਜੈ ॥੧॥
ko doosar pattatar tih dijai |1|Who else can he be compared to? (i.e. she was very beautiful)
