ਭਛ ਭੋਜ ਪਕਵਾਨ ਪਕਾਯੋ ॥
bhachh bhoj pakavaan pakaayo |And prepared many dishes and food to eat.
ਮਦਰਾ ਅਧਿਕ ਤਹਾ ਲੈ ਧਰਾ ॥
madaraa adhik tahaa lai dharaa |A lot of alcohol to store there
ਸਾਤ ਬਾਰ ਜੁ ਚੁਆਇਨਿ ਕਰਾ ॥੧੦॥
saat baar ju chuaaein karaa |10|Which was removed seven times (from the furnace). 10.
ਭਲੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਸਭ ਅੰਨ ਬਨਾਏ ॥
bhalee bhaat sabh an banaae |He prepared food well
ਭਾਤਿ ਭਾਤਿ ਬਿਖੁ ਸਾਥ ਮਿਲਾਏ ॥
bhaat bhaat bikh saath milaae |And added many kinds of wishes to them.
ਗਰਧਭਾਨ ਬਹੁ ਦਈ ਅਫੀਮੈ ॥
garadhabhaan bahu dee afeemai |Donkeys fed a lot of opium
ਬਾਧੇ ਆਨਿ ਅਸੁਰ ਕੀ ਸੀਮੈ ॥੧੧॥
baadhe aan asur kee seemai |11|And brought them to the limit of the demon and tied them. 11.
ਆਧੀ ਰਾਤਿ ਦੈਤ ਤਹ ਆਯੋ ॥
aadhee raat dait tah aayo |At midnight the giant came there
ਗਰਧਭਾਨ ਮਹਿਖਾਨ ਚਬਾਯੋ ॥
garadhabhaan mahikhaan chabaayo |And chewed the cud on the donkeys.
ਭਛ ਭੋਜ ਬਹੁਤੇ ਤਬ ਖਾਏ ॥
bhachh bhoj bahute tab khaae |(He) then ate a lot of food
ਭਰਿ ਭਰਿ ਪ੍ਯਾਲੇ ਮਦਹਿ ਚੜਾਏ ॥੧੨॥
bhar bhar payaale madeh charraae |12|And drank cups full of wine. 12.
ਮਦ ਕੀ ਪੀਏ ਬਿਸੁਧ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਰਹਾ ॥
mad kee pee bisudh hvai rahaa |Fainted after drinking alcohol
ਆਨਿ ਅਫੀਮ ਗਰੌ ਤਿਹ ਗਹਾ ॥
aan afeem garau tih gahaa |And opium silenced him.
ਸੋਇ ਰਹਾ ਸੁਧਿ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਪਾਈ ॥
soe rahaa sudh kachhoo na paaee |(He) fell asleep and no one was conscious.
ਨਾਰਿ ਪਛਾਨ ਘਾਤ ਕਹ ਧਾਈ ॥੧੩॥
naar pachhaan ghaat kah dhaaee |13|So by chance (she) came to kill the woman. 13.
ਅਠ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਮਨ ਸਿਕਾ ਲਯੋ ॥
atth hazaar man sikaa layo |He took eight thousand manas coin
ਤਾ ਪਰ ਅਵਟਿ ਢਾਰਿ ਕਰਿ ਦਯੋ ॥
taa par avatt dtaar kar dayo |And put it on him by folding it.
ਭਸਮੀ ਭੂਤ ਦੈਤ ਵਹੁ ਕਿਯੋ ॥
bhasamee bhoot dait vahu kiyo |That giant was burnt to ashes
ਬਿਰਹਵਤੀ ਪੁਰ ਕੌ ਸੁਖ ਦਿਯੋ ॥੧੪॥
birahavatee pur kau sukh diyo |14|And gave happiness to the city named Birhvati. 14.

ਇਹ ਛਲ ਅਬਲਾ ਅਸੁਰ ਹਨਿ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਹਿ ਬਰਿਯੋ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ॥
eih chhal abalaa asur han nripeh bariyo sukh paae |With this trick, the woman (prostitute) killed the giant and found happiness by marrying the king.
ਸਕਲ ਪ੍ਰਜਾ ਸੁਖ ਸੌ ਬਸੀ ਹ੍ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਖ ਉਪਜਾਇ ॥੧੫॥
sakal prajaa sukh sau basee hridai harakh upajaae |15|All the people were happy in their hearts and started living happily. 15.
ਇਤਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਖ੍ਯਾਨੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰੇ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੀ ਭੂਪ ਸੰਬਾਦੇ ਤੀਨ ਸੌ ਤੀਸ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸਮਾਪਤਮ ਸਤੁ ਸੁਭਮ ਸਤੁ ॥੩੩੦॥੬੧੯੩॥ਅਫਜੂੰ॥

ਵਲੰਦੇਜ ਕੋ ਏਕ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਾਲਾ ॥
valandej ko ek nripaalaa |There was a king of Valandej (country).
ਵਲੰਦੇਜ ਦੇਈ ਘਰ ਬਾਲਾ ॥
valandej deee ghar baalaa |In his house there was a lady named Valandej Dei.
ਤਾ ਪੁਰ ਕੁਪ੍ਰਯੋ ਫਿਰੰਗ ਰਾਇ ਮਨ ॥
taa pur kuprayo firang raae man |Firang Rai was angry at him.
ਸੈਨ ਚੜਾ ਲੈ ਕਰਿ ਸੰਗ ਅਨਗਨ ॥੧॥
sain charraa lai kar sang anagan |1|He took an innumerable army and climbed. 1.
ਨਾਮੁ ਫਿਰੰਗੀ ਰਾਇ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਤਿਹ ॥
naam firangee raae nripat tih |The name of that king was Firangi Rai
ਅੰਗਰੇਜਨ ਪਰ ਚੜਤ ਕਰੀ ਜਿਹ ॥
angarejan par charrat karee jih |Who attacked the British.
ਅਨਗਨ ਲਏ ਚਮੂੰ ਚਤੁਰੰਗਾ ॥
anagan le chamoon chaturangaa |He took countless Chaturangani with his army.
ਜਨੁ ਕਰਿ ਉਮਡਿ ਚਲਿਯੋ ਜਲ ਗੰਗਾ ॥੨॥
jan kar umadd chaliyo jal gangaa |2|(It looked like this) as if the water of the Ganga was overflowing. 2.
ਵਲੰਦੇਜ ਦੇਈ ਕੇ ਨਾਥਹਿ ॥
valandej deee ke naatheh |Valandej Dei's husband
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਤਜੇ ਡਰ ਹੀ ਕੇ ਸਾਥਹਿ ॥
praan taje ddar hee ke saatheh |He gave up his life out of fear.
ਰਾਨੀ ਭੇਦ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਦਯੋ ॥
raanee bhed na kaahoo dayo |Rani did not tell this secret to anyone
ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਤ੍ਰਸਤ ਰਾਜਾ ਮਰਿ ਗਯੋ ॥੩॥
traas trasat raajaa mar gayo |3|That the king has died because of fear. 3.
ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਨਾਥ ਤਿਹ ਸਮੈ ਨਿਹਾਰਾ ॥
mritak naath tih samai nihaaraa |(She) then saw her dead husband
ਔਰ ਸੰਗ ਬਹੁ ਸੈਨ ਬਿਚਾਰਾ ॥
aauar sang bahu sain bichaaraa |And discussed with the army.
ਇਹੈ ਘਾਤ ਜਿਯ ਮਾਹਿ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥
eihai ghaat jiy maeh bichaaree |He made this vision in his mind
ਕਾਸਟ ਪੁਤ੍ਰਿਕਾ ਲਛ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥੪॥
kaasatt putrikaa lachh savaaree |4|And made one lakh idols of wood. 4.
ਲਛ ਹੀ ਹਾਥ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਸਵਾਰੀ ॥
lachh hee haath bandook savaaree |Lakhs of guns were placed in (their) hands
ਦਾਰੂ ਗੋਲਿਨ ਭਰੀ ਸੁਧਾਰੀ ॥
daaroo golin bharee sudhaaree |which were full of liquor and pills.
ਡਿਵਢਾ ਚੁਨਤ ਭਈ ਤੁਪਖਾਨਾ ॥
ddivadtaa chunat bhee tupakhaanaa |Artillery on Dewdy
ਤੀਰ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਕਮਾਨ ਅਰੁ ਬਾਨਾ ॥੫॥
teer bandook kamaan ar baanaa |5|And arrows, guns, bows and arrows etc.
ਜਬ ਅਰਿ ਸੈਨ ਨਿਕਟ ਤਿਹ ਆਈ ॥
jab ar sain nikatt tih aaee |When the enemy's army came near
ਸਭਹਿਨ ਗਈ ਪਲੀਤਾ ਲਾਈ ॥
sabhahin gee paleetaa laaee |So he set (fire) all the litters.
ਬੀਸ ਹਜਾਰ ਤੁਪਕ ਇਕ ਬਾਰ ॥
bees hajaar tupak ik baar |Twenty thousand guns were fired at once.
ਛੁਟਗੀ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਰਹੀ ਸੰਭਾਰਾ ॥੬॥
chhuttagee kachh na rahee sanbhaaraa |6|There was no care left for (someone). 6.
ਜਿਮਿ ਮਖੀਰ ਕੀ ਉਡਤ ਸੁ ਮਾਖੀ ॥
jim makheer kee uddat su maakhee |As bees fly from the honeycomb,
ਤਿਮਿ ਹੀ ਚਲੀ ਬੰਦੂਕੈ ਬਾਖੀ ॥
tim hee chalee bandookai baakhee |Similarly, the rest of the guns also went off.
ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲਗੇ ਅੰਗ ਮੌ ਬਾਨਾ ॥
jaa ke lage ang mau baanaa |Those whose bodies are pierced with arrows,
ਤਤਛਿਨ ਤਿਨ ਭਟ ਤਜੇ ਪਰਾਨਾ ॥੭॥
tatachhin tin bhatt taje paraanaa |7|So those heroes died immediately.7.
ਤਰਫਰਾਹਿ ਗੌਰਿਨ ਕੇ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
tarafaraeh gauarin ke maare |He began to suffer from the pain of the bullets.
ਪਛੁ ਸੁਤ ਓਰਨ ਜਨੁਕ ਬਿਦਾਰੇ ॥
pachh sut oran januk bidaare |(It seemed) as if the baby birds had died due to hail.
ਰਥੀ ਸੁ ਨਾਗਪਤੀ ਅਰੁ ਬਾਜਾ ॥
rathee su naagapatee ar baajaa |Charioteers, owners of elephants and horses
ਜਮ ਪੁਰ ਗਏ ਸਹਿਤ ਨਿਜੁ ਰਾਜਾ ॥੮॥
jam pur ge sahit nij raajaa |8|He went to Jampuri with his king.8.

ਇਹ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਤਨ ਚੰਚਲਾ ਕੂਟੋ ਕਟਕ ਹਜਾਰ ॥
eih charitr tan chanchalaa kootto kattak hajaar |With this character, the woman beat thousands of soldiers
ਅਰਿ ਮਾਰੇ ਰਾਜਾ ਸਹਿਤ ਗਏ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਨ ਕੌ ਹਾਰਿ ॥੯॥
ar maare raajaa sahit ge grihan kau haar |9|And killed the enemies along with the king and those (survivors) returned home defeated. 9.

ਕਾਮ ਸੈਨ ਤਿਹ ਨਾਮ ਕਹਤ ਨਰ ॥
kaam sain tih naam kahat nar |People used to call him Kam Sen.
ਕਾਮਾਵਤੀ ਤਵਨ ਕੀ ਨਾਰੀ ॥
kaamaavatee tavan kee naaree |His wife was Kamavati
ਰੂਪਵਾਨ ਦੁਤਿਵਾਨ ਉਜਿਯਾਰੀ ॥੧॥
roopavaan dutivaan ujiyaaree |1|Who was very handsome, beautiful and bright. 1.
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਰਹੈ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਬਾਜਿਨ ॥
taa ke bahut rahai grih baajin |There were many horses in his house.
ਜਯੋ ਕਰਤ ਤਾਜੀ ਅਰੁ ਤਾਜਿਨ ॥
jayo karat taajee ar taajin |Who used to produce horses and mares.
ਤਹ ਭਵ ਏਕ ਬਛੇਰਾ ਲਯੋ ॥
tah bhav ek bachheraa layo |A son was born there.
ਭੂਤ ਭਵਿਖ੍ਯ ਨ ਵੈਸੇ ਭਯੋ ॥੨॥
bhoot bhavikhay na vaise bhayo |2|(No beautiful foal) like him was not born in Bhut and will not be in the future. 2.
ਤਹ ਇਕ ਹੋਤ ਸਾਹ ਬਡਭਾਗੀ ॥
tah ik hot saah baddabhaagee |There used to be a happy Shah.
ਰੂਪ ਕੁਅਰ ਨਾਮਾ ਅਨੁਰਾਗੀ ॥
roop kuar naamaa anuraagee |That friend's name was Roop Kumar (Queer).
ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਕਲਾ ਤਿਹ ਸੁਤਾ ਭਨਿਜੈ ॥
preet kalaa tih sutaa bhanijai |His daughter's name was Preet Kala.
