ਰੁਲੀਏ ਪਖਰੀਏ ਆਹਾੜੇ ॥੧੨੦॥
rulee pakharee aahaarre |120|

The warriors were mumbling and falling as martyrs and the heroes wearing armours were rolling in dust.120.

ਬਕੇ ਬਬਾੜੇ ਬੰਕਾਰੰ ॥
bake babaarre bankaaran |

ਨਚੇ ਪਖਰੀਏ ਜੁਝਾਰੰ ॥
nache pakharee jujhaaran |

The brave fighters thundered and the warriors wearing steel armours, being intoxicated, began to dance.

ਬਜੇ ਸੰਗਲੀਏ ਭੀਹਾਲੇ ॥
baje sangalee bheehaale |

ਰਣ ਰਤੇ ਮਤੇ ਮੁਛਾਲੇ ॥੧੨੧॥
ran rate mate muchhaale |121|

The terrible trumpets resounded and the warriors with dreadful whiskers began to fight in the war.121.

ਉਛਲੀਏ ਕਛੀ ਕਛਾਲੇ ॥
auchhalee kachhee kachhaale |

ਉਡੇ ਜਣੁ ਪਬੰ ਪਛਾਲੇ ॥
audde jan paban pachhaale |

The warriors were fighting with each other while twisting their whiskers. The chopping heroes were jumping like the winged mountains.

ਜੁਟੇ ਭਟ ਛੁਟੇ ਮੁਛਾਲੇ ॥
jutte bhatt chhutte muchhaale |

ਰੁਲੀਏ ਆਹਾੜੰ ਪਖਰਾਲੇ ॥੧੨੨॥
rulee aahaarran pakharaale |122|

The brave soldiers wearing armours are lying down on the earh.122.

ਬਜੇ ਸੰਧੂਰੰ ਨਗਾਰੇ ॥
baje sandhooran nagaare |

ਕਛੇ ਕਛੀਲੇ ਲੁਝਾਰੇ ॥
kachhe kachheele lujhaare |

The trumpets resounded upto distant places and the horses began to run hither and thither.

ਗਣ ਹੂਰੰ ਪੂਰੰ ਗੈਣਾਯੰ ॥
gan hooran pooran gainaayan |

ਅੰਜਨਯੰ ਅੰਜੇ ਨੈਣਾਯੰ ॥੧੨੩॥
anjanayan anje nainaayan |123|

The heavenly damsels began to roam in the sky and bedecking themselves and putting collyrium in their eyes they began to see the war.123.

ਰਣ ਣਕੇ ਨਾਦੰ ਨਾਫੀਰੰ ॥
ran nake naadan naafeeran |

ਬਬਾੜੇ ਬੀਰੰ ਹਾਬੀਰੰ ॥
babaarre beeran haabeeran |

The thundering musical instruments were played in the war and the brave soldiers roared.

ਉਘੇ ਜਣੁ ਨੇਜੇ ਜਟਾਲੇ ॥
aughe jan neje jattaale |

ਛੁਟੇ ਸਿਲ ਸਿਤਿਯੰ ਮੁਛਾਲੇ ॥੧੨੪॥
chhutte sil sitiyan muchhaale |124|

The warriors holding their spears in their hands began to strike them, the arms and weapons of the warriors were put to use.124.

ਭਟ ਡਿਗੇ ਘਾਯੰ ਅਘਾਯੰ ॥
bhatt ddige ghaayan aghaayan |

ਤਨ ਸੁਭੇ ਅਧੇ ਅਧਾਯੰ ॥
tan subhe adhe adhaayan |

The wounded warriors fell down and their bodies were chopped.

ਦਲ ਗਜੇ ਬਜੇ ਨੀਸਾਣੰ ॥
dal gaje baje neesaanan |

ਚੰਚਲੀਏ ਤਾਜੀ ਚੀਹਾਣੰ ॥੧੨੫॥
chanchalee taajee cheehaanan |125|

The armies thundered and the trumpets resounded, the restless horses neighed in the battlefield.125.

ਚਵ ਦਿਸਯੰ ਚਿੰਕੀ ਚਾਵੰਡੈ ॥
chav disayan chinkee chaavanddai |

ਖੰਡੇ ਖੰਡੇ ਕੈ ਆਖੰਡੈ ॥
khandde khandde kai aakhanddai |

The vultures shrieked on all the four sides and they began to reduce already chopped bodies into bits.

ਰਣ ੜੰਕੇ ਗਿਧੰ ਉਧਾਣੰ ॥
ran rranke gidhan udhaanan |

ਜੈ ਜੰਪੈ ਸਿੰਧੰ ਸੁਧਾਣੰ ॥੧੨੬॥
jai janpai sindhan sudhaanan |126|

In the jungle of that battlefield they began to play with the bits of flesh and the adepts and yogis wished for victory.126.

ਫੁਲੇ ਜਣੁ ਕਿੰਸਕ ਬਾਸੰਤੰ ॥
fule jan kinsak baasantan |

ਰਣ ਰਤੇ ਸੂਰਾ ਸਾਮੰਤੰ ॥
ran rate sooraa saamantan |

Just as the flowers blossom in the spring, in the same manner are seen the mighty warriors fighting in the war.

ਡਿਗੇ ਰਣ ਸੁੰਡੀ ਸੁੰਡਾਣੰ ॥
ddige ran sunddee sunddaanan |

ਧਰ ਭੂਰੰ ਪੂਰੰ ਮੁੰਡਾਣੰ ॥੧੨੭॥
dhar bhooran pooran munddaanan |127|

The trunks of the elephants began to fell in the battlefield and the whole earth was filled with hacked heads.127.

ਮਧੁਰ ਧੁਨਿ ਛੰਦ ॥
madhur dhun chhand |

MADHUR DHUN STANZA

ਤਰ ਭਰ ਰਾਮੰ ॥
tar bhar raaman |

ਪਰਹਰ ਕਾਮੰ ॥
parahar kaaman |

Parashuram, who had abandoned his desires created a sensation in all the four directions,

ਧਰ ਬਰ ਧੀਰੰ ॥
dhar bar dheeran |

ਪਰਹਰਿ ਤੀਰੰ ॥੧੨੮॥
parahar teeran |128|

And began to discharge arrows like the brave fighers.128.

ਦਰ ਬਰ ਗਯਾਨੰ ॥
dar bar gayaanan |

ਪਰ ਹਰਿ ਧਯਾਨੰ ॥
par har dhayaanan |

Observing his fury, the men of wisdom, meditated on the Lord,

ਥਰਹਰ ਕੰਪੈ ॥
tharahar kanpai |

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਜੰਪੈ ॥੧੨੯॥
har har janpai |129|

And began to repeat the name of Lord, trembling with fear.129.

ਕ੍ਰੋਧੰ ਗਲਿਤੰ ॥
krodhan galitan |

ਬੋਧੰ ਦਲਿਤੰ ॥
bodhan dalitan |

Agonised by extreme rage, the intellect was destroyed.

ਕਰ ਸਰ ਸਰਤਾ ॥
kar sar sarataa |

ਧਰਮਰ ਹਰਤਾ ॥੧੩੦॥
dharamar harataa |130|

A stream of arrows flowed from his hands and with them the life-breath of opponents was removed.130.

ਸਰਬਰ ਪਾਣੰ ॥
sarabar paanan |

ਧਰ ਕਰ ਮਾਣੰ ॥
dhar kar maanan |

Holding their arrows in their hand s and filled with pride,

ਅਰ ਉਰ ਸਾਲੀ ॥
ar ur saalee |

ਧਰ ਉਰਿ ਮਾਲੀ ॥੧੩੧॥
dhar ur maalee |131|

The warriors are imposing them in the hearts of the enemies like the hoeing of the earth by the gardener.131.

ਕਰ ਬਰ ਕੋਪੰ ॥
kar bar kopan |

ਥਰਹਰ ਧੋਪੰ ॥
tharahar dhopan |

All tremble on account of the fury by the warriors and because of their activities in respect of warfare.
