ਬਿਸੁਕਰਮਾ ਕੀ ਜਾਨ ਕੁਮਾਰੀ ॥੧੪॥
bisukaramaa kee jaan kumaaree |14|As if Vishwakarma's daughter. 14.
ਇਕ ਚਤੁਰਾ ਅਰੁ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਚਿਤੇਰੀ ॥
eik chaturaa ar dutiy chiteree |One was clever and the other shrewd,
ਪ੍ਰਤਿਮਾ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਮਦਨ ਜਨ ਕੇਰੀ ॥
pratimaa dutiy madan jan keree |Mano is the second idol of Kama.
ਗੋਰ ਬਰਨ ਅਰੁ ਖਾਏ ਪਾਨਾ ॥
gor baran ar khaae paanaa |(She) was fair in complexion and used to eat paan.
ਜਾਨੁਕ ਚੜਾ ਚੰਦ ਅਸਮਾਨਾ ॥੧੫॥
jaanuk charraa chand asamaanaa |15|(It seemed like) as if the moon had risen in the sky. 15.
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਧਾਮ ਚਿਤੇਰਨਿ ਗਈ ॥
taa ke dhaam chiteran gee |(She) Chiteri (angel) went to his house
ਲਿਖਿ ਲ੍ਯਾਵਤ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਮਾ ਤਿਹ ਭਈ ॥
likh layaavat pratimaa tih bhee |And brought a picture of him.
ਜਬ ਲੈ ਕਰਿ ਕਰ ਸਾਹ ਨਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
jab lai kar kar saah nihaaree |When the king saw the image in his hand.
ਜਾਨੁਕ ਤਾਨਿ ਕਟਾਰੀ ਮਾਰੀ ॥੧੬॥
jaanuk taan kattaaree maaree |16|(It seemed) as if (Kaam Dev) had cut the string tightly. 16.
ਸਭ ਸੁਧਿ ਗਈ ਮਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਝੂੰਮਾ ॥
sabh sudh gee mat hvai jhoonmaa |(His) entire consciousness went away and he started dancing in a drunken state.
ਘਾਇ ਲਗੇ ਘਾਯਲ ਜਨੁ ਘੂੰਮਾ ॥
ghaae lage ghaayal jan ghoonmaa |(It looked like this) as if the wound were moving around.
ਤਨ ਕੀ ਰਹੀ ਨ ਤਨਿਕ ਸੰਭਾਰਾ ॥
tan kee rahee na tanik sanbhaaraa |He could not take care of his body.
ਜਨੁ ਡਸਿ ਗਯੋ ਨਾਗ ਕੌਡਿਯਾਰਾ ॥੧੭॥
jan ddas gayo naag kauaddiyaaraa |17|As if bitten by a snake with thorns. 17.
ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਕਰੀ ਸਾਹ ਮਿਜਮਾਨੀ ॥
eik din karee saah mijamaanee |One day the king had a feast
ਸਭ ਪੁਰ ਨਾਰਿ ਧਾਮ ਮਹਿ ਆਨੀ ॥
sabh pur naar dhaam meh aanee |And brought all the women of the city to the palace.
ਸਿਧ ਪਾਲ ਕੀ ਸੁਤਾ ਜਬਾਈ ॥
sidh paal kee sutaa jabaaee |When Siddh Pal's daughter came, (it appeared like this)
ਸਕਲ ਦੀਪ ਜ੍ਯੋਂ ਸਭਾ ਸੁਹਾਈ ॥੧੮॥
sakal deep jayon sabhaa suhaaee |18|It is as if Deepak has become a blessing in the whole assembly. 18.
ਛਿਦ੍ਰ ਬੀਚ ਕਰਿ ਤਾਹਿ ਨਿਹਾਰਾ ॥
chhidr beech kar taeh nihaaraa |Through a hole he (the king) saw,
ਹਜਰਤਿ ਭਯੋ ਤਬੈ ਮਤਵਾਰਾ ॥
hajarat bhayo tabai matavaaraa |Only then Hazrat Matwala became.
ਮਨ ਤਰੁਨੀ ਕੇ ਰੂਪ ਬਿਕਾਨ੍ਰਯੋ ॥
man tarunee ke roop bikaanrayo |(His) mind was sold on the form of a woman
ਮ੍ਰਿਤਕ ਸੋ ਤਨੁ ਰਹਿਯੋ ਪਛਾਨ੍ਯੋ ॥੧੯॥
mritak so tan rahiyo pachhaanayo |19|And (this) understand that his body became like Lot. 19.
ਹਜਰਤਿ ਸਕਲ ਪਠਾਨ ਬੁਲਾਏ ॥
hajarat sakal patthaan bulaae |Hazrat called all the Pathans
ਸਿਧ ਪਾਲ ਕੈ ਧਾਮ ਪਠਾਏ ॥
sidh paal kai dhaam patthaae |and sent to Siddh Pal's house.
ਕੈ ਅਪਨੀ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਮੁਹਿ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
kai apanee duhitaa muhi deejai |(Sent through them saying) Either give me your daughter,
ਨਾਤਰ ਮੀਚ ਮੂੰਡ ਪਰ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੨੦॥
naatar meech moondd par leejai |20|Otherwise, think that death has come to your head. 20.
ਸਕਲ ਪਠਾਨ ਤਵਨ ਕੇ ਗਏ ॥
sakal patthaan tavan ke ge |All the Pathans went to his (house).
ਹਜਰਤਿ ਕਹੀ ਸੁ ਭਾਖਤ ਭਏ ॥
hajarat kahee su bhaakhat bhe |He said what Hazrat had said
ਸਿਧ ਪਾਲ ਧੰਨ ਭਾਗ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ॥
sidh paal dhan bhaag tihaare |That O Siddh Pal! You are lucky
ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਆਵਹਿਗੇ ਸਾਹ ਸਵਾਰੇ ॥੨੧॥
grih aavahige saah savaare |21|(Because) the ride of the king will come to your house. 21.
ਸਿਧ ਪਾਲ ਐਸੋ ਜਬ ਸੁਨਾ ॥
sidh paal aaiso jab sunaa |When Siddh Pal heard this.
ਅਧਿਕ ਦੁਖਿਤ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਮਸਤਕ ਧੁਨਾ ॥
adhik dukhit hvai masatak dhunaa |(Then) he touched his forehead in great sorrow.
ਦੈਵ ਕਵਨ ਗਤਿ ਕਰੀ ਹਮਾਰੀ ॥
daiv kavan gat karee hamaaree |(Thinking that) what condition has God made me?
ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਅਸਿ ਉਪਜੀ ਸੁਤਾ ਦੁਖਾਰੀ ॥੨੨॥
grih as upajee sutaa dukhaaree |22|Such a sad daughter has been born in my house. 22.
ਜੌ ਨਹਿ ਦੇਤ ਤੁ ਬਿਗਰਤ ਕਾਜਾ ॥
jau neh det tu bigarat kaajaa |If he does not give, the work deteriorates (i.e. the king is displeased).
ਜਾਤ ਦਏ ਛਤ੍ਰਿਨ ਕੀ ਲਾਜਾ ॥
jaat de chhatrin kee laajaa |If I give, then the umbrellas feel like a lodge.
ਮੁਗਲ ਪਠਾਨ ਤੁਰਕ ਘਰ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
mugal patthaan turak ghar maahee |(Because) the home of a Mughal, Pathan or Turk
ਅਬ ਲਗਿ ਗੀ ਛਤ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੨੩॥
ab lag gee chhatraanee naahee |23|(No one) has gone to Chhatrani yet. 23.
ਛਤ੍ਰਿਨ ਕੇ ਅਬ ਲਗੇ ਨ ਭਈ ॥
chhatrin ke ab lage na bhee |It has not yet happened in Chhatriyas
ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਕਾਢਿ ਤੁਰਕ ਕਹ ਦਈ ॥
duhitaa kaadt turak kah dee |That the Turks were taken away (from home) and given a daughter.
ਰਜਪੂਤਨ ਕੇ ਹੋਤਹ ਆਈ ॥
rajapootan ke hotah aaee |It has been happening among the Rajputs
ਪੁਤ੍ਰੀ ਧਾਮ ਮਲੇਛ ਪਠਾਈ ॥੨੪॥
putree dhaam malechh patthaaee |24|That the daughters have been sent (to the house of Malechha). 24.
ਹਾਡਨ ਏਕ ਦੂਸਰਨ ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ॥
haaddan ek doosaran khatree |(But) these one boats and the other umbrellas
ਤੁਰਕਨ ਕਹ ਇਨ ਦਈ ਨ ਪੁਤ੍ਰੀ ॥
turakan kah in dee na putree |Never gave his sonship to the Turks.
ਜੋ ਛਤ੍ਰੀ ਅਸ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵੈ ॥
jo chhatree as karam kamaavai |The Chhatri who does this kind of work,
ਕੁੰਭੀ ਨਰਕ ਦੇਹ ਜੁਤ ਜਾਵੈ ॥੨੫॥
kunbhee narak deh jut jaavai |25|(Then) he goes to Kumphi hell with his body. 25.
ਜੋ ਨਰ ਤੁਰਕਹਿ ਦੇਤ ਦੁਲਾਰੀ ॥
jo nar turakeh det dulaaree |who gives daughters to male Turks,
ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਧ੍ਰਿਗ ਜਗ ਤਿਹ ਕਰਤ ਉਚਾਰੀ ॥
dhrig dhrig jag tih karat uchaaree |The world calls him 'Dhrig Dhrig'.
ਲੋਕ ਪ੍ਰਲੋਕ ਤਾਹਿ ਕੋ ਜੈਹੈ ॥
lok pralok taeh ko jaihai |The people of that (umbrella) will go to the Hereafter (both).
