ਤਾ ਪਾਛੇ ਪਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਸਵਾਰੋ ॥
taa paachhe pat sabad savaaro |Add the word 'husband' after.
ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੈ ॥
rip pad bahur uchaaran keejai |Then pronounce the word 'Ripu'.
ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੋ ਸਭ ਲਖਿ ਲੀਜੈ ॥੭੪੧॥
naam tupak ko sabh lakh leejai |741|Comprehend all the names of Tupak by uttering the word “Shvetaa-Shvet” and then saying the words “Pati Ripu”.741.

ਮ੍ਰਿਗੀ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥
mrigee sabad ko aad uchaaran keejeeai |Pronounce the word Mrigi' (deer) first.
ਤਾ ਪਾਛੇ ਨਾਇਕ ਸੁ ਸਬਦ ਕਹੁ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥
taa paachhe naaeik su sabad kahu deejeeai |Then say the word 'hero'.
ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਜਾਨੀਐ ॥
satru sabad keh naam tupak ke jaaneeai |Then by saying the word 'Satru' take (it) to be the name of the drop.
ਹੋ ਜਉਨ ਠਉਰ ਪਦ ਰੁਚੈ ਸੁ ਤਹੀ ਬਖਾਨੀਐ ॥੭੪੨॥
ho jaun tthaur pad ruchai su tahee bakhaaneeai |742|The names of Tupak are comprehended by uttering the word “Mrigi” and afterwards adding the words “Nayak” and “Dhatru”, you may describe it according to your inclination.742.
ਸੇਤ ਅਸਿਤ ਅਜਿਨਾ ਕੇ ਆਦਿ ਉਚਾਰੀਐ ॥
set asit ajinaa ke aad uchaareeai |Say the word set asit ajina' (white with black beak, deer) first.
ਤਾ ਪਾਛੇ ਪਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਸੁ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਸੁਧਾਰੀਐ ॥

ਉਦਰ ਸੇਤ ਚਰਮਾਦਿ ਉਚਾਰਨ ਕੀਜੀਐ ॥
audar set charamaad uchaaran keejeeai |First chant the (words) 'Udar Set Charmadi' (white-skinned belly, deer).
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਪਾਛੇ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਨਾਥ ਪਦ ਦੀਜੀਐ ॥
taa ke paachhe bahur naath pad deejeeai |Add the word 'Nath' after this
ਤਾ ਕੇ ਪਾਛੇ ਰਿਪੁ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਉਚਾਰੀਐ ॥
taa ke paachhe rip pad bahur uchaareeai |And then pronounce the word 'Ripu'.
ਹੋ ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਸਭ ਹੀ ਚਤੁਰ ਬਿਚਾਰੀਐ ॥੭੪੪॥
ho naam tupak ke sabh hee chatur bichaareeai |744|Uttering firstly “Udar-Shvet-charam” and then adding the words “Naath Ripu”, comprehend all the names of Tupak.744.

ਤਾ ਪਾਛੇ ਨਾਇਕ ਪਦ ਡਾਰੋ ॥
taa paachhe naaeik pad ddaaro |Then add the word “Nayak”
ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਕੋ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਖਾਨੋ ॥
satru sabad ko bahur bakhaano |And afterwards mention the word “Shatru”
ਨਾਮ ਤੁਪਕ ਕੇ ਸਕਲ ਪਛਾਨੋ ॥੭੪੫॥
naam tupak ke sakal pachhaano |745|In this way recognize all the names of Tupak.745.
ਚਾਰੁ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਸਬਦਾਦਿ ਉਚਾਰੋ ॥
chaar netr sabadaad uchaaro |After the words “Chaaru-netra”,
ਤਾ ਪਾਛੇ ਪਤਿ ਸਬਦ ਬਿਚਾਰੋ ॥
taa paachhe pat sabad bichaaro |Add the words “Pati” and “Naath”
ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਕਹੁ ਬਹੁਰੋ ਦੀਜੈ ॥
satru sabad kahu bahuro deejai |Then add the word 'satru'.
