ਜਿਤੇ ਦੈਤ ਢੂਕੇ ਮਹਾ ਬਾਹੁ ਭਾਰੇ ॥
jite dait dtooke mahaa baahu bhaare |As many heavy-armed giants lie there,
ਤਿਤ੍ਰਯੋ ਕਾ ਗਿਰਾ ਆਨਿ ਕੈ ਸ੍ਰੋਨ ਭੂ ਪੈ ॥
titrayo kaa giraa aan kai sron bhoo pai |Their blood fell on the earth
ਉਠੇ ਨੇਕ ਜੋਧਾ ਮਹਾ ਭੀਮ ਰੂਪੇ ॥੪੮॥
autthe nek jodhaa mahaa bheem roope |48|And from him many great warriors of great size stood up. 48.

ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਭੂਮਿ ਜੁ ਮੇਜਾ ਪਰਹੀ ॥
tin kee bhoom ju mejaa parahee |Their fruit fell on the earth,
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਅਮਿਤ ਦੈਤ ਬਪੁ ਧਰਹੀ ॥
tin te amit dait bap dharahee |Innumerable giants also took on bodies from him.
ਸ੍ਰੋਨ ਗਿਰੈ ਤਿਨ ਕੋ ਧਰ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
sron girai tin ko dhar maahee |Their blood that falls on the earth,
ਰਥੀ ਗਜੀ ਬਾਜੀ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਜਾਹੀ ॥੪੯॥
rathee gajee baajee hvai jaahee |49|They would become Rathi (chariots), Gaji (elephants) and Baji (horses). 49.
ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਤਜਤ ਸ੍ਵਾਸਾ ਅਰਿ ਤਜੈ ॥
praan tajat svaasaa ar tajai |When enemies exhaled while giving up their lives,
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਅਮਿਤ ਅਸੁਰ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਭਜੈ ॥
tin te amit asur hvai bhajai |So many giants were born from them and ran away.
ਕਿਤਕ ਅਸੁਰ ਡਾਰਤ ਭੂਅ ਲਾਰੈ ॥
kitak asur ddaarat bhooa laarai |How many giants were blushing on the land,
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਅਨਿਕ ਦੈਤ ਤਨ ਧਾਰੈ ॥੫੦॥
tin te anik dait tan dhaarai |50|Many giants used to assume body from them. 50.
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਤਜਤ ਅਸੁਰ ਜੇ ਸ੍ਵਾਸਾ ॥
tin te tajat asur je svaasaa |Of those who breathed giants,
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਦਾਨਵ ਹੋਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸਾ ॥
tin te daanav hohi prakaasaa |From them (other) giants were appearing.
ਕਿਤਕ ਮਰਤ ਕੈ ਤਰੁਨਿ ਸੰਘਾਰੇ ॥
kitak marat kai tarun sanghaare |How many giants were killed by killing a woman (Bala).
ਦਸੌ ਦਿਸਿਨ ਮਹਿ ਅਸੁਰ ਨਿਹਾਰੇ ॥੫੧॥
dasau disin meh asur nihaare |51|Giants are seen everywhere. 51.
ਚਿਤ ਮੋ ਕਿਯਾ ਕਾਲਕਾ ਧ੍ਯਾਨਾ ॥
chit mo kiyaa kaalakaa dhayaanaa |Kalka meditated in Chit,
ਦਰਸਨ ਦਿਯਾ ਆਨਿ ਭਗਵਾਨਾ ॥
darasan diyaa aan bhagavaanaa |(So) God came and gave darshan.
ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਨਾਮ ਚਰਨਨ ਉਠਿ ਪਰੀ ॥
kar pranaam charanan utth paree |Bala got up and bowed and fell at their feet
ਬਿਨਤੀ ਭਾਤਿ ਅਨਿਕ ਤਨ ਕਰੀ ॥੫੨॥
binatee bhaat anik tan karee |52|And requested in many ways. 52.
ਸਤਿ ਕਾਲ ਮੈ ਦਾਸ ਤਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
sat kaal mai daas tihaaree |O Saturday! I am your maid.
ਅਪਨੀ ਜਾਨਿ ਕਰੋ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਰੀ ॥
apanee jaan karo pratipaaree |Follow (me) knowingly.
ਗੁਨ ਅਵਗੁਨ ਮੁਰ ਕਛੁ ਨ ਨਿਹਾਰਹੁ ॥
gun avagun mur kachh na nihaarahu |Do not see my virtues and vices
ਬਾਹਿ ਗਹੇ ਕੀ ਲਾਜ ਬਿਚਾਰਹੁ ॥੫੩॥
baeh gahe kee laaj bichaarahu |53|And keep the lodge of holding the arm. 53.
ਹਮ ਹੈ ਸਰਨਿ ਤੋਰ ਮਹਾਰਾਜਾ ॥
ham hai saran tor mahaaraajaa |O Maharaj! I am under your shelter.
ਤੁਮ ਕਹ ਬਾਹਿ ਗਹੇ ਕੀ ਲਾਜਾ ॥
tum kah baeh gahe kee laajaa |You have an arm to hold.
ਜੌ ਤਵ ਭਗਤ ਨੈਕ ਦੁਖ ਪੈ ਹੈ ॥
jau tav bhagat naik dukh pai hai |If your devotee suffers even a little,
ਦੀਨ ਦ੍ਰਯਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਲਜੈ ਹੈ ॥੫੪॥
deen drayaal prabh birad lajai hai |54|So, O Deen Dayal Lord! (Your) manners are poor. 54.
ਔ ਕਹ ਲਗ ਮੈ ਕਰੌ ਪੁਕਾਰਾ ॥
aau kah lag mai karau pukaaraa |No matter how much I cry,
ਤੈ ਘਟ ਘਟ ਕੀ ਜਾਨ ਨਿਹਾਰਾ ॥
tai ghatt ghatt kee jaan nihaaraa |You are a know-it-all.
ਕਹੀ ਏਕ ਕਰਿ ਸਹਸ ਪਛਿਨਯਹੁ ॥
kahee ek kar sahas pachhinayahu |(You recognize my) once saying a thousand times.
ਆਪੁ ਆਪਨੇ ਬਿਰਦਹਿ ਜਨਿਯਹੁ ॥੫੫॥
aap aapane biradeh janiyahu |55|(You) know your own behavior. 55.
ਹੜ ਹੜ ਸੁਨਤ ਕਾਲ ਬਚ ਹਸਾ ॥
harr harr sunat kaal bach hasaa |Hearing these words, Kaal burst out laughing
ਭਗਤ ਹੇਤ ਕਟਿ ਸੌ ਅਸਿ ਕਸਾ ॥
bhagat het katt sau as kasaa |And the devotee fastened the sword with a lock (for protection).
ਚਿੰਤ ਨ ਕਰਿ ਮੈ ਅਸੁਰ ਸੰਘਰਿ ਹੌ ॥
chint na kar mai asur sanghar hau |(And said, O child!) Don't worry, I will kill the giants
ਸਕਲ ਸੋਕ ਭਗਤਨ ਕੋ ਹਰਿ ਹੌ ॥੫੬॥
sakal sok bhagatan ko har hau |56|And I will remove all the sorrow of the devotees. 56.
ਅਮਿਤ ਅਸੁਰ ਉਪਜੇ ਥੇ ਜਹਾ ॥
amit asur upaje the jahaa |Where Amit Devant was born,
ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤਿ ਭਯੋ ਕਾਲ ਚਲਿ ਤਹਾ ॥
praapat bhayo kaal chal tahaa |Called and reached there.
ਚਹੂੰ ਕਰਨ ਕਰਿ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਪ੍ਰਹਾਰੇ ॥
chahoon karan kar sasatr prahaare |(He) wielded weapons with four hands
ਦੈਤ ਅਨੇਕ ਮਾਰ ਹੀ ਡਾਰੇ ॥੫੭॥
dait anek maar hee ddaare |57|And killed many giants. 57.
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਪਰਾ ਸ੍ਰੋਨ ਜੇ ਭੂ ਪਰ ॥
tin te paraa sron je bhoo par |Their blood that fell on the earth,
ਅਸੁਰ ਅਮਿਤ ਧਾਵਤ ਭੇ ਉਠਿ ਕਰਿ ॥
asur amit dhaavat bhe utth kar |(From him) innumerable giants arose (i.e. were born) and started running.
ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਚਲਤ ਸ੍ਵਾਸ ਤੇ ਛੂਟੇ ॥
tin te chalat svaas te chhootte |From the breaths that come out with their movement
ਅਮਿਤ ਦੈਤ ਰਨ ਕਹ ਉਠਿ ਜੂਟੇ ॥੫੮॥
amit dait ran kah utth jootte |58|Countless giants were born and joined the battle. 58.
ਤੇ ਸਭ ਕਾਲ ਤਨਿਕ ਮੋ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
te sabh kaal tanik mo maare |Call killed them instantly
ਚਲਤ ਭਏ ਭੂਅ ਰੁਧਿਰ ਪਨਾਰੇ ॥
chalat bhe bhooa rudhir panaare |And blood flowed on the earth.
ਉਪਜਿ ਅਸੁਰ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਬਹੁ ਠਾਢੇ ॥
aupaj asur taa te bahu tthaadte |Many giants were born from him
ਧਾਵਤ ਭਏ ਰੋਸ ਕਰਿ ਗਾਢੇ ॥੫੯॥
dhaavat bhe ros kar gaadte |59|And being very angry, they started to attack. 59.
