ਪਲ ਪਲ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ਤਿਹਾਰੇ ॥੧੨॥
pal pal bal bal jaau tihaare |12|(So that I) become a sacrifice from you moment by moment. 12.
ਅੜਿਲ ॥

ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਹੇਤ ਮੈ ਹ੍ਯਾਂ ਤਸਕਰ ਤਰ ਆਇ ਕੈ ॥
putr het mai hayaan tasakar tar aae kai |For the sake of my son, I came down here as a smuggler (thief).
ਮਜਨ ਕੀਯਾ ਬਨਾਇ ਅਧਿਕ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
majan keeyaa banaae adhik sukh paae kai |Have taken bath thoroughly.
ਸਾਚ ਕਹਾ ਪਿਯ ਤੋਹਿ ਜਾਨ ਜਿਯ ਲੀਜਿਯੈ ॥
saach kahaa piy tohi jaan jiy leejiyai |Oh dear! Understand in your mind that I have told you the truth.
ਹੋ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਯਾ ਤੇ ਬਾਤ ਜੁ ਜਾਨ ਸੁ ਕੀਜੀਯੈ ॥੧੩॥
ho avar na yaa te baat ju jaan su keejeeyai |13|There is nothing different from it. (Now yours) do whatever you want. 13.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥
doharaa |dual:
ਸੁਨਿ ਰਾਜਾ ਐਸੋ ਬਚਨ ਜਿਯ ਮਹਿ ਭਯੋ ਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ੍ਯ ॥
sun raajaa aaiso bachan jiy meh bhayo prasanay |The king was very happy to hear these words
ਜੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਅਸ ਹਠ ਕਿਯਾ ਧਰਨੀ ਤਲ ਮਹਿ ਧੰਨ੍ਯ ॥੧੪॥
jo triy hvai as hatth kiyaa dharanee tal meh dhanay |14|That the one who, being a woman, has done this kind of austerity, is blessed on earth. 14.

ਜੋ ਤ੍ਰਿਯ ਮੋ ਪੈ ਕਹਾ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ॥
jo triy mo pai kahaa bichaaree |The idea that the woman has said is the predecessor,
ਸਾਚ ਵਹੈ ਮੈ ਨੈਨ ਨਿਹਾਰੀ ॥
saach vahai mai nain nihaaree |That is true. I have seen with my own eyes.
ਅਸ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਸੁਤ ਹਿਤ ਜਿਨ ਕਿਯਾ ॥
as charitr sut hit jin kiyaa |This kind of character that has done for the son,
ਧੰਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਤਿਹਾਰੋ ਹਿਯਾ ॥੧੫॥
dhan dhan kuar tihaaro hiyaa |15|O Kumari! Your heart is blessed. 15.
ਦੋਹਰਾ ॥

ਨਿਰਸੰਦੇਹ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਸਦਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਹੈ ਪੂਤ ਅਪਾਰ ॥
nirasandeh tumare sadan hvai hai poot apaar |(The king further said, O Priya!) A son of immense (virtues) will surely be born in your house.
ਹਠੀ ਜਪੀ ਤਪਸੀ ਸਤੀ ਸੂਰਬੀਰ ਸੁ ਕੁਮਾਰ ॥੧੬॥
hatthee japee tapasee satee soorabeer su kumaar |16|Who will be Hathi, Japi, Tapasvi, Sati and Shurvir Raj Kumar. 16.

ਤਾਹਿ ਭੋਗਿ ਫਾਸੀ ਸੌ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਸੰਘਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
taeh bhog faasee sau bahur sanghaariyo |(First) that Pali was killed by being hanged
ਕਰਿ ਕੈ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਹਿ ਚਰਿਤ੍ਰ ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਦਿਖਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
kar kai nripeh charitr ih bhaat dikhaariyo |And showed this kind of character to the king.
ਮੂੜ ਪ੍ਰਫੁਲਿਤ ਭਯੋ ਨ ਕਛੁ ਤਾ ਕੌ ਕਹਾ ॥
moorr prafulit bhayo na kachh taa kau kahaa |The fool (king) was happy and said nothing to him
ਹੋ ਧੰਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਕਹਿ ਨਾਰਿ ਮਗਨ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਮਨ ਰਹਾ ॥੧੭॥
ho dhan dhan keh naar magan hvai man rahaa |17|And calling the woman blessed, he became engrossed in his mind. 17.

eit sree charitr pakhayaane triyaa charitre mantree bhoop sanbaade doe sau ikasatth charitr samaapatam sat subham sat |261|4940|afajoon|Here ends the 261st charitra of Mantri Bhup Sambad of Tria Charitra of Sri Charitropakhyan, all is auspicious. 261.4940. goes on

ਕਿਲਮਾਕਨ ਕੇ ਦੇਸ ਇੰਦ੍ਰ ਧੁਜ ਨ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਬਰ ॥
kilamaakan ke des indr dhuj nripat bar |In the country of Kilmakan (Tatars) there was (a) great king named Indra Dhuj,
ਸ੍ਰੀ ਕਿਲਮਾਕ ਮਤੀ ਰਾਨੀ ਜਿਹ ਬਸਤ ਘਰ ॥
sree kilamaak matee raanee jih basat ghar |In whose house lived a queen named Kilmak Mati.
ਪੁਨ ਮਾਸੂਕ ਮਤੀ ਦੁਹਿਤਾ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਭਈ ॥
pun maasook matee duhitaa taa kai bhee |Then a daughter named Mashuk Mati was born in her house.
ਹੋ ਜਨੁਕ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਕੀ ਕਲਾ ਦੁਤਿਯ ਜਗ ਮੈ ਵਈ ॥੧॥
ho januk chandr kee kalaa dutiy jag mai vee |1|It is as if a second lunar art has been born in the world. 1.
ਸੌਦਾ ਹਿਤ ਸੌਦਾਗਰ ਤਹ ਇਕ ਆਇਯੋ ॥
sauadaa hit sauadaagar tah ik aaeiyo |A merchant came there to do business.
ਜਨੁ ਸਸਿ ਕੋ ਅਵਿਤਾਰ ਮਦਨ ਉਪਜਾਇਯੋ ॥
jan sas ko avitaar madan upajaaeiyo |(who was so beautiful) as if an incarnation of the moon or Kama Dev had been born.
ਅਧਿਕ ਜੁਬਨ ਕੀ ਜੇਬ ਬਿਧਾਤੈ ਦਈ ਤਿਹ ॥
adhik juban kee jeb bidhaatai dee tih |God had given him a lot of beauty of youth.
ਹੋ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਵਤ ਸੁਰ ਅਸੁਰ ਨਿਹਾਰੇ ਕ੍ਰਾਤਿ ਜਿਹ ॥੨॥
ho sukh paavat sur asur nihaare kraat jih |2|Seeing her beauty, the gods and giants were very happy. 2.
ਏਕ ਦਿਵਸ ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਸੁਤਾ ਝਰੋਖੇ ਆਇ ਕੈ ॥
ek divas nrip sutaa jharokhe aae kai |One day, the king's sonship was desirable
ਬੈਠਤ ਭੀ ਚਿਤ ਲਗੇ ਸੁ ਬੈਸ ਬਨਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
baitthat bhee chit lage su bais banaae kai |She got dressed and sat in the window.
ਸਾਹੁ ਪੁਤ੍ਰ ਤਹ ਆਇ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੈ ਗਯੋ ॥
saahu putr tah aae dikhaaee dai gayo |The Shah's son appeared there (to him).
ਹੋ ਯਾ ਮਾਨਨਿ ਕੋ ਮਨਹਿ ਮਨੋ ਹਰਿ ਲੈ ਗਯੋ ॥੩॥
ho yaa maanan ko maneh mano har lai gayo |3|(He) as if he had stolen the heart of a proud woman. 3.
ਰਾਜ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਲਖਿ ਰੂਪ ਰਹੀ ਉਰਝਾਇ ਕਰਿ ॥
raaj kuar lakh roop rahee urajhaae kar |Raj Kumari was mesmerized by seeing his form.
ਪਠੈ ਸਹਚਰੀ ਤਹਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਧਨ ਦ੍ਰਯਾਇ ਕਰਿ ॥
patthai sahacharee tahaa bahut dhan drayaae kar |(A Sakhi) was sent to him after giving him a lot of money.
ਸਾਹੁ ਸੁਤਹਿ ਕ੍ਯੋਹੂੰ ਬਿਧਿ ਜੋ ਹ੍ਯਾਂ ਲ੍ਯਾਇ ਹੈ ॥
saahu suteh kayohoon bidh jo hayaan layaae hai |(Raj Kumari explained to Sakhi) Bring the Shah's son here somehow.
ਹੋ ਜੋ ਮਾਗੇ ਮੁਹਿ ਤੂ ਸੋ ਅਬ ਹੀ ਪਾਇ ਹੈ ॥੪॥
ho jo maage muhi too so ab hee paae hai |4|You have just received what you will ask from me. 4.
ਸੁਨਤ ਕੁਅਰਿ ਕੋ ਬਚਨ ਸਖੀ ਤਹ ਜਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
sunat kuar ko bachan sakhee tah jaae kai |After hearing the words of Raj Kumari, Sakhi went there
ਮਨ ਭਾਵਤ ਪਿਯ ਯਾ ਕਹ ਦਿਯਾ ਮਿਲਾਇ ਕੈ ॥
man bhaavat piy yaa kah diyaa milaae kai |And gave him the beloved of his heart.
ਚੌਰਾਸੀ ਆਸਨ ਸੁ ਬਿਬਿਧ ਬਿਧਿ ਕੈ ਲੀਏ ॥
chauaraasee aasan su bibidh bidh kai lee |(They) performed eighty-four postures
ਹੋ ਚਿਤ ਕੇ ਸੋਕ ਸੰਤਾਪ ਬਿਦਾ ਸਭ ਕਰ ਦੀਏ ॥੫॥
ho chit ke sok santaap bidaa sabh kar dee |5|And removed all the sufferings of Chit.5.
ਛੈਲ ਛੈਲਨੀ ਛਕੇ ਨ ਛੋਰਤ ਏਕ ਛਿਨ ॥
chhail chhailanee chhake na chhorat ek chhin |The women and men were (so much) pleased that they did not differ even for an inch.
ਜਨੁਕ ਨਵੌ ਨਿਧਿ ਰਾਕ ਸੁ ਪਾਈ ਆਜੁ ਤਿਨ ॥
januk navau nidh raak su paaee aaj tin |(It seemed) as if the poor man had obtained nine treasures.
ਚਿੰਤਾਤੁਰ ਚਿਤ ਭਈ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਬਿਚਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥
chintaatur chit bhee bichaar bichaar kai |Raj Kumari started thinking anxiously in her mind
ਹੋ ਸਦਾ ਬਸੌ ਸੁਖ ਸਾਥ ਪਿਯਰਵਾ ਯਾਰਿ ਕੈ ॥੬॥
ho sadaa basau sukh saath piyaravaa yaar kai |6|How to always be with a dear friend. 6.
