ਤੀਰਨ ਤੇ ਤਰਵਾਰਨ ਸੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਬਾਰਨ ਸੇ ਅਵਿਲੋਕਹੁ ਜਾਈ ॥
teeran te taravaaran se mrig baaran se avilokahu jaaee |(The king's nails) are like arrows, or like swords, or like young deer. (To make such a judgement) one should go and see.
ਰੀਝ ਰਹੀ ਰਿਝਵਾਰ ਲਖੇ ਦੁਤਿ ਭਾਖਿ ਪ੍ਰਭਾ ਨਹੀ ਜਾਤ ਬਤਾਈ ॥
reejh rahee rijhavaar lakhe dut bhaakh prabhaa nahee jaat bataaee |He is impressive like a sword or an arrow his simple beauty like the young one of a deer is worth seeing all are getting pleased on seeing him and his glory is indescribable
ਸੰਗਿ ਚਲੀ ਉਠਿ ਬਾਲ ਬਿਲੋਕਨ ਮੋਰ ਚਕੋਰ ਰਹੇ ਉਰਝਾਈ ॥
sang chalee utth baal bilokan mor chakor rahe urajhaaee |The lady (Raj Kumari) has got up and gone with (the others) to see, and the peacocks, Chakor, are also confused (about the state of her form).
ਡੀਠਿ ਪਰੈ ਅਜਿ ਰਾਜ ਜਬੈ ਚਿਤ ਦੇਖਤ ਹੀ ਤ੍ਰੀਅ ਲੀਨ ਚੁਰਾਈ ॥੮੫॥
ddeetth parai aj raaj jabai chit dekhat hee treea leen churaaee |85|The princess is moving forward to see him and seeing him, the peacocks and partridges have fallen in confusion the heart of that princess was fascinated, the moment she saw the king Aj.85.

tomar chhand |TOMAR STANZA
ਅਵਿਲੋਕੀਆ ਅਜਿ ਰਾਜ ॥
avilokeea aj raaj |(Raj Kumari) has seen the king today.
ਅਤਿ ਰੂਪ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਜ ॥
at roop sarab samaaj |He is beautiful in appearance and is a member of all societies.
ਅਤਿ ਰੀਝ ਕੈ ਹਸ ਬਾਲ ॥
at reejh kai has baal |With great joy and laughter (by Raj Kumari)
ਗੁਹਿ ਫੂਲ ਮਾਲ ਉਤਾਲ ॥੮੬॥
guhi fool maal utaal |86|When the princess saw the king, the treasure of beauty, she held her wreath of flowers with smile.86.
ਗਹਿ ਫੂਲ ਕੀ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਲ ॥
geh fool kee kar maal |(Then) held the garland of flowers in his hand.
ਅਤਿ ਰੂਪਵੰਤ ਸੁ ਬਾਲ ॥
at roopavant su baal |That Raj Kumari is very beautiful.
ਤਿਸੁ ਡਾਰੀਆ ਉਰਿ ਆਨਿ ॥
tis ddaareea ur aan |He came and put a garland around the neck of (Aj Raja).
ਦਸ ਚਾਰਿ ਚਾਰਿ ਨਿਧਾਨਿ ॥੮੭॥
das chaar chaar nidhaan |87|The charming damsel caught the garland in her hand and put it around the neck of the king, expert in eighteen sciences.87.
ਤਿਹ ਦੇਬਿ ਆਗਿਆ ਕੀਨ ॥
tih deb aagiaa keen |Goddess (Saraswati) allowed him
ਦਸ ਚਾਰਿ ਚਾਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ॥
das chaar chaar prabeen |Who was proficient in eighteen arts.
ਸੁਨਿ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ ਇਮ ਬੈਨ ॥
sun sundaree im bain |O beauty! Hear these words,
ਸਸਿ ਕ੍ਰਾਤ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨੈਨ ॥੮੮॥
sas kraat sundar nain |88|The goddess said to that princess, who was expert in all sciences, “O beautiful maiden like moonlight having charming eyes! listen to what I say.88.
ਤਵ ਜੋਗ ਹੈ ਅਜਿ ਰਾਜ ॥
tav jog hai aj raaj |Today the king is worthy of your (husband).
ਸੁਨ ਰੂਪਵੰਤ ਸਲਾਜ ॥
sun roopavant salaaj |“O princess full of charm and shyness! the king Aj is worthy match for you
ਬਰੁ ਆਜੁ ਤਾ ਕਹ ਜਾਇ ॥
bar aaj taa kah jaae |Go get him now.
ਸੁਨਿ ਬੈਨਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਕਾਇ ॥੮੯॥
sun bain sundar kaae |89|You see him and listen to my speech”89.
ਗਹਿ ਫੂਲ ਮਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਬੀਨ ॥
geh fool maal prabeen |That Prabeen (Raj Kumari) holding a garland of flowers,
ਉਰਿ ਡਾਰ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਦੀਨ ॥
aur ddaar taa ke deen |The princess caught the wreath of flowers and put it around the neck of the king and
ਤਬ ਬਾਜ ਤੂਰ ਅਨੇਕ ॥
tab baaj toor anek |Especially at that time
ਡਫ ਬੀਣ ਬੇਣ ਬਸੇਖ ॥੯੦॥
ddaf been ben basekh |90|At that time many musical instruments including the lyre were played.90.
ਡਫ ਬਾਜ ਢੋਲ ਮ੍ਰਿਦੰਗ ॥
ddaf baaj dtol mridang |Duff, Dhol, Mridanga,
ਅਤਿ ਤੂਰ ਤਾਨ ਤਰੰਗ ॥
at toor taan tarang |The tabor, drum, kettledrum and many other musical instruments of various tunes and tones were played
ਨਯ ਬਾਸੁਰੀ ਅਰੁ ਬੈਨ ॥
nay baasuree ar bain |By mixing words with their tone
ਬਹੁ ਸੁੰਦਰੀ ਸੁਭ ਨੈਨ ॥੯੧॥
bahu sundaree subh nain |91|The flutes were played and there were many beautiful ladies of charming eyes seated there.91.
ਤਿਹ ਬਿਆਹਿ ਕੈ ਅਜਿ ਰਾਜਿ ॥
tih biaaeh kai aj raaj |He married the king today
ਬਹੁ ਭਾਤਿ ਲੈ ਕਰ ਦਾਜ ॥
bahu bhaat lai kar daaj |The king Aj wedded that damsel and taking various types of dowry and
ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਆਈਆ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇ ॥
grih aaeea sukh paae |And by attaining happiness
ਡਫ ਬੇਣ ਬੀਣ ਬਜਾਇ ॥੯੨॥
ddaf ben been bajaae |92|Causing the tabor and lyre to be played, he retuned home with great happiness.92.
ਅਜਿ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਾਨ ॥
aj raaj raaj mahaan |Aj Raj is a very great king
ਦਸ ਚਾਰਿ ਚਾਰਿ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥
das chaar chaar nidhaan |The king expert in eighteen sciences, was the ocean of pleasure and store of gentleness
ਸੁਖ ਸਿੰਧੁ ਸੀਲ ਸਮੁੰਦ੍ਰ ॥
sukh sindh seel samundr |He is an ocean of happiness and peace
ਜਿਨਿ ਜੀਤਿਆ ਰਣ ਰੁਦ੍ਰ ॥੯੩॥
jin jeetiaa ran rudr |93|He had conquered even Shiva in the war.93.
ਇਹ ਭਾਤਿ ਰਾਜ ਕਮਾਇ ॥
eih bhaat raaj kamaae |Thus (he) earned the kingdom
ਸਿਰਿ ਅਤ੍ਰ ਪਤ੍ਰ ਫਿਰਾਇ ॥
sir atr patr firaae |In this waay, he ruled and caused the canopy to be swung over his head and in the whole world,
ਰਣ ਧੀਰ ਰਾਜ ਬਿਸੇਖ ॥
ran dheer raaj bisekh |He is uniquely Randhir.
ਜਗ ਕੀਨ ਜਾਸੁ ਭਿਖੇਖ ॥੯੪॥
jag keen jaas bhikhekh |94|The ceremonies regarding he divine kingship of that victorious king were performed.94.
ਜਗਜੀਤ ਚਾਰਿ ਦਿਸਾਨ ॥
jagajeet chaar disaan |(He) has conquered the four directions of the world.
ਅਜਿ ਰਾਜ ਰਾਜ ਮਹਾਨ ॥
aj raaj raaj mahaan |The king Aj, after conquering all the four directions, gave charities of materials as a generous king
ਨ੍ਰਿਪ ਦਾਨ ਸੀਲ ਪਹਾਰ ॥
nrip daan seel pahaar |(That) king is the mountain of Dan and Sheel.
ਦਸ ਚਾਰਿ ਚਾਰਿ ਉਦਾਰ ॥੯੫॥
das chaar chaar udaar |95|Being expert in all sciences, that king was extremely benevolent.95.
ਦੁਤਿਵੰਤਿ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਨੈਨ ॥
dutivant sundar nain |The beautiful shines bright and has beautiful pearls,
ਜਿਹ ਪੇਖਿ ਖਿਝਤ ਮੈਨ ॥
jih pekh khijhat main |His eyes and body were so charming, hat even the god of love felt jealous
ਮੁਖ ਦੇਖਿ ਚੰਦ੍ਰ ਸਰੂਪ ॥
mukh dekh chandr saroop |(His) face looks like the moon.
