ਧਾਏ ਸਭ ਸੂਰੰ ਰੂਪ ਕਰੂਰੰ ਮਚਕਤ ਨੂਰੰ ਮੁਖਿ ਲਾਲੰ ॥
dhaae sabh sooran roop karooran machakat nooran mukh laalan |Horrendi vultus omnes, rutilantes et lucida ora movebant.

ਮਿਲੇ ਹਥਿ ਬੰਥੰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣੰ ਕੜਕੇ ॥
mile hath banthan kripaanan karrake |Caementa, sagittae et enses in agendo sonos suos certos efficiunt, manus ad renes vulneratos movent.

ਰੁਲੇ ਲੁਥ ਜੁਥੰ ਗਿਰੇ ਬੀਰ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
rule luth juthan gire beer maare |Verbera scipionum in galeis sonant pulsantes, corpora caesorum in pulvere volventia bellantum.
ਪਰੈ ਕਤੀਯੰ ਘਾਤ ਨਿਰਘਾਤ ਬੀਰੰ ॥
parai kateeyan ghaat niraghaat beeran |Gladii corpora heroum vulnera inferunt
ਫਿਰੈ ਰੁਡ ਮੁੰਡੰ ਤਨੰ ਤਨ ਤੀਰੰ ॥੨੮॥
firai rudd munddan tanan tan teeran |28|Corpora sagittis et sine capite truncis in campum moventur.28.
ਬਹੀ ਬਾਹੁ ਆਘਾਤ ਨਿਰਘਾਤ ਬਾਣੰ ॥
bahee baahu aaghaat niraghaat baanan |Sagittae brachiis ictibus continue moventur.
ਉਠੇ ਨਦ ਨਾਦੰ ਕੜਕੇ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣੰ ॥
autthe nad naadan karrake kripaanan |Brachia crebris sagittis dirigentes, enses stridores graves creant sonos.
ਛਕੇ ਛੋਭ ਛਤ੍ਰ ਤਜੈ ਬਾਣ ਰਾਜੀ ॥
chhake chhobh chhatr tajai baan raajee |Milites, in magna furore, sagittarum globos spargunt
ਬਹੇ ਜਾਹਿ ਖਾਲੀ ਫਿਰੈ ਛੂਛ ਤਾਜੀ ॥੨੯॥
bahe jaeh khaalee firai chhoochh taajee |29|Quaedam sagittae scuta fallunt et propter aliquas sagittas, equi sine equite vagari videntur.29.
ਜੁਟੇ ਆਪ ਮੈ ਬੀਰ ਬੀਰੰ ਜੁਝਾਰੇ ॥
jutte aap mai beer beeran jujhaare |Gutham Guttha inter se bellatores sunt;
ਮਨੋ ਗਜ ਜੁਟੈ ਦੰਤਾਰੇ ਦੰਤਾਰੇ ॥
mano gaj juttai dantaare dantaare |Pugnantes inter se fortes appareant sicut elephanti cum dentis inter se pugnantes;
ਕਿਧੋ ਸਿੰਘ ਸੋ ਸਾਰਦੂਲੰ ਅਰੁਝੇ ॥
kidho singh so saaradoolan arujhe |leo pugnans leo;
