ਕਿਤੇ ਆਨਿ ਗਾਜੈ ਕਿਤੇ ਭਾਜਿ ਜਾਵੈ ॥੭੩॥
kite aan gaajai kite bhaaj jaavai |73|Alicubi veniunt et rugiunt et alicubi fugiunt. LXXIII.
ਜਬੈ ਸਿਧ ਪਾਲੈ ਸਭੈ ਖਾਨ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
jabai sidh paalai sabhai khaan maare |Cum Siddh Pal occidit omnes Pathans
ਲਏ ਛੀਨ ਕੈ ਤਾਜ ਬਾਜੀ ਨਗਾਰੇ ॥
le chheen kai taaj baajee nagaare |Sublatis equis, equis.
ਹੁਤੇ ਦੂਰਿ ਬਾਸੀ ਕਿਤੇ ਖਾਨ ਘਾਏ ॥
hute door baasee kite khaan ghaae |Multi Pathani, qui longe habitabant, eo pervenerunt.
ਘਿਰਿਯੋ ਸਿਧ ਪਾਲੈ ਕਰੀ ਮਤ ਨ੍ਯਾਏ ॥੭੪॥

ਜਿਤੇ ਖਾਨ ਭਾਜੇ ਤਿਤੇ ਫੇਰਿ ਢੂਕੇ ॥

ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰ ਗਾਜੈ ਹਠੀ ਸਿਧ ਜੂ ਕੇ ॥

ਕਹਾ ਜਾਇਗੋ ਛਤ੍ਰਿ ਜਾਨੇ ਨ ਦੈ ਹੈ ॥
kahaa jaaeigo chhatr jaane na dai hai |O umbella! Quo ibis, non licebit ire.
ਇਹੀ ਛੇਤ੍ਰ ਮੈ ਛਿਪ੍ਰ ਤੁਹਿ ਆਜੁ ਛੈ ਹੈ ॥੭੫॥
eihee chhetr mai chhipr tuhi aaj chhai hai |75|Te mox in hoc campo ('Chhipra') conficiemus. LXXV.
ਸੁਨੇ ਬੈਨ ਐਸੇ ਭਰਿਯੋ ਕੋਪ ਸੂਰੋ ॥
sune bain aaise bhariyo kop sooro |Talibus auditis Surma ira repletus est.
ਸਭੇ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਸੌਡੀ ਮਹਾ ਲੋਹ ਪੂਰੋ ॥
sabhe sasatr sauaddee mahaa loh pooro |Omni armorum genere instructus, telorum usu callebat.
ਦਯੋ ਸੈਨ ਕੌ ਆਇਸੈ ਆਪੁ ਹੀ ਯੋ ॥
dayo sain kau aaeisai aap hee yo |Ipse permisit toti exercitui.
ਕਪੀ ਬਾਹਨੀ ਕੌ ਕਹਿਯੋ ਰਾਮ ਜੀ ਯੋ ॥੭੬॥
kapee baahanee kau kahiyo raam jee yo |76|Sicut exercitus simiarum a Ramji datus est. LXXVI.
ਸੁਨੇ ਬੈਨ ਸੈਨਾ ਚਲੀ ਕੋਪ ਕੈ ਕੈ ॥
sune bain sainaa chalee kop kai kai |Audiens verba haec (of Siddh Pal), iratus est omnis exercitus
ਸਭੇ ਸਸਤ੍ਰ ਅਸਤ੍ਰਾਨ ਕੌ ਹਾਥ ਲੈ ਕੈ ॥
sabhe sasatr asatraan kau haath lai kai |Ibant cum omnibus armis et armis.
ਜਿਤੇ ਖਾਨ ਆਏ ਤਿਤੇ ਖੇਤ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
jite khaan aae tite khet maare |Omnes pathani qui venerant in acie occisi sunt.
ਕਿਤੇ ਖੇਦਿ ਕੈ ਕੋਟਿ ਕੀ ਓਟ ਡਾਰੇ ॥੭੭॥
kite khed kai kott kee ott ddaare |77|Quosdam ex eis fugatos in castra praecipitaverunt. LXXVII.
ਕਿਤੇ ਬੀਰ ਬਾਨੈਤ ਬਾਜੀ ਪਲਟੈ ॥
kite beer baanait baajee palattai |Alicubi iacebant sagittarii fortes cum equis suis.
ਕਿਤੇ ਬੀਰ ਬਾਨੀਨ ਸੋ ਆਨਿ ਜੁਟੈ ॥
kite beer baaneen so aan juttai |Alicubi fortes cum sagittis convenerant.
ਕਿਤੇ ਖਗ ਲੈ ਖਿੰਗ ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ਉਮੰਗੈ ॥
kite khag lai khing khatree umangai |Alicubi cum gladiis et umbella equi saltantes (ibi venire solebant)
ਜਹਾ ਜੰਗ ਜੋਧਾ ਜਗੇ ਜੋਰ ਜੰਗੈ ॥੭੮॥
jahaa jang jodhaa jage jor jangai |78|Ubi magnae pugnae.78.
ਘੁਰੈ ਘੋਰ ਬਾਦਿਤ੍ਰ ਮਾਰੂ ਨਗਾਰੇ ॥
ghurai ghor baaditr maaroo nagaare |(Somewhere) magna mors genua sonabant voce magna
ਮਚੇ ਆਨਿ ਕੈ ਕੈ ਮਹਾ ਭੂਪ ਭਾਰੇ ॥
mache aan kai kai mahaa bhoop bhaare |(et alibi) magni reges veniebant ac bella gerebant.
ਖੁਲੇ ਖਗ ਖਤ੍ਰੀ ਉਠੇ ਭਾਤਿ ਐਸੀ ॥
khule khag khatree utthe bhaat aaisee |Gladii nudae chhatriyae sic crescebant;
ਮਨੋ ਬਹਨਿ ਜ੍ਵਾਲਾ ਪ੍ਰਲੈ ਕਾਲ ਜੈਸੀ ॥੭੯॥
mano bahan jvaalaa pralai kaal jaisee |79|Quasi diluvium temporis fluit. LXXIX.
ਕਹੂੰ ਟੀਕ ਕਾਟੇ ਗਿਰੇ ਟੋਪ ਟੂਟੇ ॥
kahoon tteek kaatte gire ttop ttootte |Alicubi cardines, ferrei in fronte gestati, caesi sunt, et alicubi fractae galeae deciderunt.
ਕਹੂੰ ਤਾਜ ਧਾਰੀ ਪਰੇ ਬਰਮ ਛੂਟੇ ॥
kahoon taaj dhaaree pare baram chhootte |Alicubi scuta principum coronae patebant.
ਕਹੂੰ ਚਰਮ ਕਾਟੇ ਪਰੇ ਖੇਤ ਐਸੇ ॥
kahoon charam kaatte pare khet aaise |scuta alicubi iacentia sicut in acie
ਕਹੂੰ ਚੌਰ ਸੋਹੈ ਮਨੋ ਹੰਸ ਜੈਸੇ ॥੮੦॥
kahoon chauar sohai mano hans jaise |80|Et alicubi quattuor quasi cygni se ornabant.80.
ਕਹੂੰ ਕੇਤੁ ਕਾਟੇ ਲਸੇ ਭੂਮ ਐਸੇ ॥
kahoon ket kaatte lase bhoom aaise |Alicubi desectae vexilla sic micabant in terra;
ਮਨੋ ਬਾਯ ਤੋਰੇ ਮਹਾ ਬ੍ਰਿਛ ਜੈਸੇ ॥
mano baay tore mahaa brichh jaise |Quasi ventus magnos ramos rupisset et eos in terram projecisset.
ਕਹੂੰ ਅਰਧ ਕਾਟੇ ਤੁਰੰਗੈ ਝਰੇ ਹੈ ॥
kahoon aradh kaatte turangai jhare hai |Fuerunt media equi iacentem alicubi
ਕਹੂੰ ਟੂਕ ਟੂਕ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਮਤੰਗੇ ਪਰੇ ਹੈ ॥੮੧॥
kahoon ttook ttook hvai matange pare hai |81|et alicubi fracti elephanti. LXXXI.
ਕਿਤੇ ਡੋਬ ਡੂਬੇ ਗਿਰੇ ਘੂੰਮ ਘੂੰਮੈ ॥
kite ddob ddoobe gire ghoonm ghoonmai |quot in palu demersi sunt et quot vagi corruerunt.
ਗਜੈ ਰਾਜ ਬਾਜੀ ਹਨੇ ਭੂਮਿ ਝੂੰਮੈ ॥
gajai raaj baajee hane bhoom jhoonmai |Elephanti et equi publici post esum iacentes humi iacebant.
ਕਿਤੇ ਊਠਿ ਭਾਜੇ ਦੁਰੇ ਬੂਟ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
kite aootth bhaaje dure boott maahee |quot surgentes fugerunt et abscondit in dumis.
ਲਗੈ ਘਾਵ ਪੀਠੈ ਕਢੇ ਮੂੰਡ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੮੨॥
lagai ghaav peetthai kadte moondd naahee |82|Vulnera in tergis erant, nec capita eorum extinxerunt. LXXXII.
ਕਿਤ੍ਰਯੋ ਕੇਸੁ ਫਾਸੇ ਦ੍ਰੁਮੋ ਜਾਤ ਜੋਰੈ ॥
kitrayo kes faase drumo jaat jorai |Nonnulli comae erat implicitus bangs
ਹਹਾ ਮੋਹਿ ਛਾਡੈ ਕਹੈ ਸਤ੍ਰੁ ਭੋਰੈ ॥
hahaa mohi chhaaddai kahai satru bhorai |Orabat hostes turbatos dimitti (of being caught).
ਨਿਕਾਰੈ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਨੈ ਨ ਪਾਛੈ ਨਿਹਾਰੈ ॥
nikaarai kripaanai na paachhai nihaarai |Non respicere post kirpans
ਭਜੇ ਜਾਹਿ ਕਾਜੀ ਨ ਬਾਜੀ ਸੰਭਾਰੈ ॥੮੩॥
bhaje jaeh kaajee na baajee sanbhaarai |83|Qazi autem homines fugiebant et equorum quoque curam non habebant. LXXXIII.
ਕਿਤੇ ਖਾਨ ਤੋਰੇ ਨ ਘੋਰੇ ਸੰਭਾਰੈ ॥
kite khaan tore na ghore sanbhaarai |Alicubi divulsi sunt pathani, et ne equos quidem curabant.
ਕਿਤੇ ਛੋਰਿ ਜੋਰੇ ਤ੍ਰਿਯਾ ਭੇਸ ਧਾਰੈ ॥
kite chhor jore triyaa bhes dhaarai |quot feminae se induunt, vestes removentes ('Jore').
ਕਿਤੈ ਦੈ ਅਕੋਰੈ ਨਿਹੋਰੈ ਤਿਸੀ ਕੌ ॥
kitai dai akorai nihorai tisee kau |Multi eum rogabant oblationes ('Akorai').
ਲਏ ਹਾਥ ਮੈ ਤੇਗ ਦੇਖੈ ਜਿਸੀ ਕੌ ॥੮੪॥
le haath mai teg dekhai jisee kau |84|Gladium in manu alicujus videbant. LXXXIV.
ਕਿਤੇ ਜੀਵ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਸਿਧਾਏ ॥
kite jeev lai ke sipaahee sidhaae |quot milites pro vita currebant?
ਕਿਤੇ ਚੁੰਗ ਬਾਧੈ ਚਲੈ ਖੇਤ ਆਏ ॥
kite chung baadhai chalai khet aae |Et quam multae manus ad pugnam venerant.
ਕਿਤ੍ਰਯੋ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਹੋਮੇ ਰਨਹਿ ਜ੍ਵਾਲ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
kitrayo praan home raneh jvaal maahee |Quot immolaverant in igne Ran-bhoomi
ਮਰੈ ਟੂਕ ਟੂਕ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਭਜੈ ਪੈ ਗੁਨਾਹੀ ॥੮੫॥
marai ttook ttook hvai bhajai pai gunaahee |85|(et quam multi) caesi et pugnando mortui sunt, reputantes peccatum. LXXXV.
ਤਹਾ ਲੈ ਅਪਛ੍ਰਾਨ ਕੇਤੇ ਬਰੇ ਹੈ ॥
tahaa lai apachhraan kete bare hai |qui ante bellum mortui sunt,
ਜਿਤੇ ਸਾਮੁਹੇ ਜੁਧ ਕੈ ਕੈ ਮਰੇ ਹੈ ॥
jite saamuhe judh kai kai mare hai |Ibi per Apachras oppugnati sunt.
ਕਿਤੇ ਨਰਕ ਬਾਸੀ ਤਿਸੀ ਕਾਲ ਹੂਏ ॥
kite narak baasee tisee kaal hooe |Quot simul incolae gehennae facti sunt?
ਜਿਤੇ ਸੂਮ ਸੋਫੀ ਭਜੇ ਜਾਤ ਮੂਏ ॥੮੬॥
jite soom sofee bhaje jaat mooe |86|et quotquot Shum Sufi fuerunt, fugiendo caesi sunt. LXXXVI.
ਕਿਤੇ ਭੀਰ ਜੋਧਾ ਮਰੇ ਬਾਜ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
kite bheer jodhaa mare baaj maare |Multi milites imbelles sine interempti sunt
ਗਿਰੇ ਤ੍ਰਾਸ ਕੈ ਕੈ ਬਿਨਾ ਬਾਨ ਡਾਰੇ ॥
gire traas kai kai binaa baan ddaare |In sagittis metus non sagittis bibendum.
ਕਿਤ੍ਰਯੋ ਅਗਮਨੈ ਆਨਿ ਕੈ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਦੀਨੇ ॥
kitrayo agamanai aan kai praan deene |Quam multi praecesserunt et dederunt animas suas?
ਕਿਤ੍ਰਯੋ ਦੇਵ ਕੇ ਲੋਕ ਕੋ ਪੰਥ ਲੀਨੇ ॥੮੭॥
kitrayo dev ke lok ko panth leene |87|Et quam multi ceperint viam populi Dei. LXXXVII.
ਜਿਤੇ ਸੂਮ ਸੋਫੀ ਭਜੇ ਜਾਤ ਮਾਰੇ ॥
jite soom sofee bhaje jaat maare |Quotquot Shum Sofis fugerunt interfecti sunt.
ਤਿਤੇ ਭੂਮਿ ਭੋਗੈ ਨਹੀ ਬੰਨਿ ਜਾਰੇ ॥
tite bhoom bhogai nahee ban jaare |Comedi a terra, id est a corvis et vulturibus (non sunt alligati et combusti).
ਭਈ ਭੀਰ ਗਾਢੀ ਮਚਿਯੋ ਜੁਧ ਭਾਰੀ ॥
bhee bheer gaadtee machiyo judh bhaaree |Magna turba facta est, ingens bellum exarsit
ਲਖੇ ਬੀਰ ਠਾਢੇ ਕਪੈ ਦੇਹ ਸਾਰੀ ॥੮੮॥
lakhe beer tthaadte kapai deh saaree |88|Et videntes fortes stantes, totum corpus contremuit. LXXXVIII.
ਜਹਾ ਸਿਧ ਪਾਲੈ ਘਨੇ ਸਤ੍ਰ ਕੂਟੇ ॥
jahaa sidh paalai ghane satr kootte |Ubi Siddh Pal multos inimicos occiderat;
ਤਹਾ ਦੇਖਿ ਜੋਧਾਨ ਤੈ ਕੋਟਿ ਛੂਟੇ ॥
tahaa dekh jodhaan tai kott chhootte |Ibi milites ex castello visi sunt.
ਚਲੇ ਭਾਜਿ ਕੈ ਨ ਹਥ੍ਯਾਰੈ ਸੰਭਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
chale bhaaj kai na hathayaarai sanbhaariyo |Fugiebant, non arma capiebant.
ਲਖੈ ਸਮਸਦੀਨੈ ਪਰਿਯੋ ਭੂੰਮਿ ਮਾਰਿਯੋ ॥੮੯॥
lakhai samasadeenai pariyo bhoonm maariyo |89|Vidit Shamsdin mortuum in terra iacentem. LXXXIX.
ਤਹਾ ਭਾਟ ਢਾਢੀ ਖਰੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਵੈਂ ॥
tahaa bhaatt dtaadtee khare geet gaavain |Ibi, Bhat et Dhadi stabant et carmina canebant.
ਸੁਨਾਵੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੈ ਬੈਰ ਬ੍ਰਿੰਦੈ ਤ੍ਰਸਾਵੈਂ ॥
sunaavai prabhai bair brindai trasaavain |Clamabant ad dominum suum, et turbas hostium terrebant.
ਕਹੂੰ ਨਾਦ ਬਾਜੈ ਨਫੀਰੀ ਨਗਾਰੇ ॥
kahoon naad baajai nafeeree nagaare |Ranasinghes, nafiris et nagars alicubi ludebant
ਹਸੈ ਗਰਜਿ ਠੋਕੈ ਭੁਜਾ ਭੂਪ ਭਾਰੇ ॥੯੦॥
hasai garaj tthokai bhujaa bhoop bhaare |90|Et reges magni plaudebant manibus et ridebant. XC.
ਜਬੈ ਖਾਨ ਜੂਝੈ ਸਭੈ ਖੇਤ ਮਾਹੀ ॥
jabai khaan joojhai sabhai khet maahee |cum omnes pathani in bello caesi
ਬਡੇ ਐਂਠਿਯਾਰੇ ਬਚਿਯੋ ਏਕ ਨਾਹੀ ॥
badde aaintthiyaare bachiyo ek naahee |Et ne unus quidem ex magnis Hankarbaz superfuit.
ਲਈ ਛੀਨਿ ਦਿਲੀ ਦਿਲੀਸੈ ਸੰਘਾਰਿਯੋ ॥
lee chheen dilee dileesai sanghaariyo |regem Dellium interfecit et Delhi imperium abstulit.
