ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਦਰਸ ਕਮਲ ਕੁਮੁਦਨੀ ਹਿਤ ਭ੍ਰਮਤ ਭ੍ਰਮਤ ਮਨੁ ਸੰਜੋਗੀ ਬਿਓਗੀ ਹੈ ।
rav sas daras kamal kumudanee hit bhramat bhramat man sanjogee biogee hai |Both lotus and Nymphea lotus crave for a sight of The Sun and The Moon respectively. Because of their meeting and separating frequently, their love is besmirched.
ਤ੍ਰਿਗੁਨ ਅਤੀਤ ਗੁਰੁ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਰਸ ਮਧੁ ਮਕਰੰਦ ਰੋਗ ਰਹਤ ਅਰੋਗੀ ਹੈ ।
trigun ateet gur charan kamal ras madh makarand rog rahat arogee hai |A Guru-conscious person is ever engrossed in the elixir-like relishment of True Guru's feet after freeing himself from the influence of three traits of maya (mammon). His love is blemishless.
ਨਿਹਚਲ ਮਕਰੰਦ ਸੁਖ ਸੰਪਟ ਸਹਜ ਧੁਨਿ ਸਬਦ ਅਨਾਹਦ ਕੈ ਲੋਗ ਮੈ ਅਲੋਗੀ ਹੈ ।
nihachal makarand sukh sanpatt sahaj dhun sabad anaahad kai log mai alogee hai |Such a God-oriented person stays free from the worldly affairs and remains engrossed in the mystical tenth door because of the unstruck music melody that keeps playing ere.
ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸੁਖਫਲ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਅਗਾਧਿ ਬੋਧ ਜੋਗ ਭੋਗ ਅਲਖ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਪ੍ਰਜੋਗੀ ਹੈ ।੨੬੭।
guramukh sukhafal mahimaa agaadh bodh jog bhog alakh niranjan prajogee hai |267|The wondrous state and glory of such a Guru-oriented person is beyond explanation and description. Guru-oriented person remains absorbed in the Lord who is imperceptible, beyond worldly pleasures, yet who is a yogi and a relisher (Bhogi) as well. (267)
