ਜੈਸੇ ਏਕ ਚੀਟੀ ਪਾਛੈ ਕੋਟ ਚੀਟੀ ਚਲੀ ਜਾਤਿ ਇਕ ਟਕ ਪਗ ਡਗ ਮਗਿ ਸਾਵਧਾਨ ਹੈ ।
jaise ek cheettee paachhai kott cheettee chalee jaat ik ttak pag ddag mag saavadhaan hai |Just as millions of ants follow the path blazed by an ant, walk on it very attentively without faltering a step;
ਜੈਸੇ ਕੂੰਜ ਪਾਤਿ ਭਲੀ ਭਾਂਤਿ ਸਾਂਤਿ ਸਹਜ ਮੈ ਉਡਤ ਆਕਾਸਚਾਰੀ ਆਗੈ ਅਗਵਾਨ ਹੈ ।
jaise koonj paat bhalee bhaant saant sahaj mai uddat aakaasachaaree aagai agavaan hai |Just as cranes fly in a disciplined formation very cautiously in peace and patience and all of them are led by one crane;
ਜੈਸੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਗਮਾਲ ਚਾਲ ਚਲਤ ਟਲਤ ਨਾਹਿ ਜਤ੍ਰ ਤਤ੍ਰ ਅਗ੍ਰਭਾਗੀ ਰਮਤ ਤਤ ਧਿਆਨ ਹੈ ।
jaise mrigamaal chaal chalat ttalat naeh jatr tatr agrabhaagee ramat tat dhiaan hai |Just as a herd of deers never stagger from their sharp march following their leader and all proceed so very attentively,
ਕੀਟੀ ਖਗ ਮ੍ਰਿਗ ਸਨਮੁਖ ਪਾਛੈ ਲਾਗੇ ਜਾਹਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਗੁਰ ਪੰਥ ਛਾਡ ਚਲਤ ਅਗਿਆਨ ਹੈ ।੪੧੩।
keettee khag mrig sanamukh paachhai laage jaeh praanee gur panth chhaadd chalat agiaan hai |413|Ants, cranes and deers keep following their leader, but supreme leader of all the species who leaves the well defined path of the True Guru, is surely a fool and a highly ignorant person. (413)
