ਜਨਨੀ ਜਤਨ ਕਰਿ ਜੁਗਵੈ ਜਠਰ ਰਾਖੈ ਤਾ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੁਇ ਸੁਤ ਜਨਮਤ ਹੈ ।
jananee jatan kar jugavai jatthar raakhai taa te pindd pooran hue sut janamat hai |Just as a pregnant woman takes all possible care of herself during her pregnancy and on completion of the period gives birth to a baby boy;
ਬਹੁਰਿਓ ਅਖਾਦਿ ਖਾਦਿ ਸੰਜਮ ਸਹਿਤ ਰਹੈ ਤਾਹੀ ਤੇ ਪੈ ਪੀਅਤ ਅਰੋਗਪਨ ਪਤ ਹੈ ।
bahurio akhaad khaad sanjam sahit rahai taahee te pai peeat arogapan pat hai |Then she observes and controls her eating habits meticulously and rigidly that helps the young child to grow healthy by consuming his mother's milk.
ਮਲਮੂਤ੍ਰ ਧਾਰ ਕੋ ਬਿਚਾਰ ਨ ਬਿਚਾਰੈ ਚਿਤ ਕਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ਬਾਲੁ ਤਊ ਤਨ ਗਤ ਹੈ ।
malamootr dhaar ko bichaar na bichaarai chit karai pratipaal baal taoo tan gat hai |The mother cares not about all the filth of the child and brings him up to give him a healthy body.
ਤੈਸੇ ਅਰਭਕੁ ਰੂਪ ਸਿਖ ਹੈ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਮਧਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਦਇਆਲ ਕੀ ਦਇਆ ਕੈ ਸਨ ਗਤ ਹੈ ।੩੫੩।
taise arabhak roop sikh hai sansaar madh sree gur deaal kee deaa kai san gat hai |353|So is a disciple (Sikh), like a child in this world who like the mother is blessed by the Guru with Naam Simran that ultimately emancipates him. (353)
