ਜੈਸੇ ਮਾਤਾ ਪਿਤਾ ਅਨੇਕ ਉਪਜਾਤ ਸੁਤ ਪੂੰਜੀ ਦੈ ਦੈ ਬਨਜ ਬਿਉਹਾਰਹਿ ਲਗਾਵਹੀ ।

jaise maataa pitaa anek upajaat sut poonjee dai dai banaj biauhaareh lagaavahee |

Just as parents give birth and raise many children and then support them with money and material to put them into trading business;

ਕਿਰਤ ਬਿਰਤ ਕਰਿ ਕੋਊ ਮੂਲਿ ਖੋਵੈ ਰੋਵੈ ਕੋਊ ਲਾਭ ਲਭਤਿ ਕੈ ਚਉਗੁਨੋ ਬਢਾਵਹੀ ।

kirat birat kar koaoo mool khovai rovai koaoo laabh labhat kai chauguno badtaavahee |

And out of them, one may lose all that he has invested in business and cry while other may earn much profit to enhance his investment fourfold;

ਜੈਸੋ ਜੈਸੋ ਜੋਈ ਕੁਲਾ ਧਰਮ ਹੈ ਕਰਮ ਕਰੈ ਤੈਸੋ ਤੈਸੋ ਜਸੁ ਅਪਜਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਹੀ ।
