ਲੋਗਨ ਮੈ ਲੋਗਾਚਾਰ ਅਨਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਪਿਆਰ ਮਿਥਨ ਬਿਉਹਾਰ ਦੁਖਦਾਈ ਪਹਚਾਨੀਐ ।
logan mai logaachaar anik prakaar piaar mithan biauhaar dukhadaaee pahachaaneeai |There are several types of worldly loves but all these are false and considered a source of distress.
ਬੇਦ ਮਿਰਜਾਦਾ ਮੈ ਕਹਤ ਹੈ ਕਥਾ ਅਨੇਕ ਸੁਨੀਐ ਨ ਤੈਸੀ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਮਨ ਮੈ ਨ ਮਾਨੀਐ ।
bed mirajaadaa mai kahat hai kathaa anek suneeai na taisee preet man mai na maaneeai |Several love episodes are found used in the Vedas in order to explain certain point but none is heard or believed to be anywhere near the love of a Sikh with his Guru and holy congregation.
ਗਿਆਨ ਉਨਮਾਨ ਮੈ ਨ ਜਗਤ ਭਗਤ ਬਿਖੈ ਰਾਗ ਨਾਦ ਬਾਦਿ ਆਦਿ ਅੰਤਿ ਹੂ ਨ ਜਾਨੀਐ ।
giaan unamaan mai na jagat bhagat bikhai raag naad baad aad ant hoo na jaaneeai |Such true love cannot be found in methods and statements of knowledge, in saying of pious persons in the melodies sung in various modes with accompaniment of musical instruments from one end of world to the other.
ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪੁ ਜੈਸੋ ਤੈਸੋ ਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਕ ਬਿਖੇ ਅਉਰ ਉਰ ਆਨੀਐ ।੧੮੮।
gurasikh sangat milaap ko prataap jaiso taiso na trilok bikhe aaur ur aaneeai |188|The expression of love between the Sikhs and the holy congregation of the True Guru has unique grandeur and such love cannot find its match in anyone's heart in the three worlds. (188)
