ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਮਹਿ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਸਤੀ ਹੁਇ ਪਾਇਓ ਨ ਸਹਜ ਘਰਿ ਬਨਿ ਬਨਵਾਸ ਨ ਉਦਾਸ ਡਲ ਪਾਇਓ ਹੈ ।
grih meh grihasatee hue paaeio na sahaj ghar ban banavaas na udaas ddal paaeio hai |Without Guru's teaching and all by himself a householder engrossed in all household duties cannot reach the state of oneness with Lord nor renouncing the world and living in jungles can he attain Him
ਪੜਿ ਪੜਿ ਪੰਡਿਤ ਨ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਬਿਚਾਰੀ ਸਿਧਾਸਨ ਕੈ ਨ ਨਿਜ ਆਸਨ ਦਿੜਾਇਓ ਹੈ ।
parr parr panddit na akath kathaa bichaaree sidhaasan kai na nij aasan dirraaeio hai |By becoming a scholar, reading scriptures no one can become knowledgeable of the magnificence of the Lord and describe Him. Nor by doing Yogic practices can one merge in Him.
ਜੋਗ ਧਿਆਨ ਧਾਰਨ ਕੈ ਨਾਥਨ ਦੇਖੇ ਨ ਨਾਥ ਜਗਿ ਭੋਗ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੈ ਨ ਅਗਹੁ ਗਹਾਇਓ ਹੈ ।
