ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਰਬਮਈ ਪੂਰਨ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕੈ ਪਰਪੂਰਨ ਕੈ ਜਾਨੀਐ ।
pooran braham gur pooran sarabamee pooran kripaa kai parapooran kai jaaneeai |Guru-blessed Sikh realises the universal presence of God through the total benefaction and kindness of the complete Guru who is manifestation of Supreme God.
ਦਰਸ ਧਿਆਨ ਲਿਵ ਏਕ ਅਉ ਅਨੇਕ ਮੇਕ ਸਬਦ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਟੇਕ ਏਕੈ ਉਰ ਆਨੀਐ ।
daras dhiaan liv ek aau anek mek sabad bibek ttek ekai ur aaneeai |By absorbing the mind in the form of True Guru and contemplation of Guru's teachings, the Sikh lodges that God in his heart who is one and is present in all.
ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਦਰਸ ਅਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਪੇਖਤਾ ਬਕਤਾ ਸ੍ਰੋਤਾ ਏਕੈ ਪਹਿਚਾਨੀਐ ।
drisatt daras ar sabad surat mil pekhataa bakataa srotaa ekai pahichaaneeai |By keeping the vision of the eyes in the glimpse of Satguru and tuning the ears to the sound of Guru's utterances, an obedient and devoted Sikh reckons Him as the speaker, listener and watcher.
ਸੂਖਮ ਸਥੂਲ ਮੂਲ ਗੁਪਤ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਠਟ ਨਟ ਵਟ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਮੰਤ੍ਰ ਮਨੁ ਮਾਨੀਐ ।੯੯।
