ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਾਪ ਕੋ ਪ੍ਰਤਾਪ ਅਤਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਕੈ ਪਰਸਪਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਪ੍ਰਗਾਸ ਹੈ ।

gurasikh sangat milaap ko prataap at prem kai parasapar pooran pragaas hai |

Significance of meeting of Guru and Guru-oriented men is limitless. Because of deep love in the heart of the Sikh of the Guru, light divine then glows in him.

ਦਰਸ ਅਨੂਪ ਰੂਪ ਰੰਗ ਅੰਗ ਅੰਗ ਛਬਿ ਹੇਰਤ ਹਿਰਾਨੇ ਦ੍ਰਿਗ ਬਿਸਮ ਬਿਸ੍ਵਾਸ ਹੈ ।

daras anoop roop rang ang ang chhab herat hiraane drig bisam bisvaas hai |

Seeing the beauty of the True Guru, His form, colour and image of His every limb, the eyes of a Guru-loving person are astonished. It also generates craving in his mind to see and behold the True Guru.

ਸਬਦ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਅਨਹਦ ਰੁਨਝੁਨ ਧੁਨਿ ਸੁਨਤ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਤਿ ਹਰਨ ਅਭਿਆਸ ਹੈ ।

sabad nidhaan anahad runajhun dhun sunat surat mat haran abhiaas hai |

By inexhaustible practicing of meditation on Guru's words, a soft and mellow tune of unstruck music appears in the mystical tenth door. Perpetual hearing of it causes him to remain in a state of trance.

ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਦਰਸ ਅਰੁ ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਪਰਮਦਭੁਤ ਗਤਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਬਿਲਾਸ ਹੈ ।੨੮੪।

drisatt daras ar sabad surat mil paramadabhut gat pooran bilaas hai |284|

By focusing his vision in the True Guru and keeping the mind engrossed in the teachings and sermons of the Guru, he acquires a state of perfect and complete bloom. (284)
