ਕੋਟਨਿ ਕੋਟਾਨਿ ਕਾਮ ਕਟਕ ਹੁਇ ਕਾਮਾਰਥੀ ਕੋਟਨਿ ਕੋਟਾਨਿ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੀ ਵੰਤ ਆਹਿ ਜੀ ।
kottan kottaan kaam kattak hue kaamaarathee kottan kottaan krodh krodhee vant aaeh jee |If countless means of inciting lust in a consecrated and practitioner of meditation on Lord's name befall upon a Sikh of the Guru, he is also invaded by unlimited means that can put him in rage;
ਕੋਟਨਿ ਕੋਟਾਨਿ ਲੋਭ ਲੋਭੀ ਹੁਇ ਲਾਲਚੁ ਕਰੈ ਕੋਟਨਿ ਕੋਟਾਨਿ ਮੋਹ ਮੋਹੈ ਅਵਗਾਹਿ ਜੀ ।

ਕੋਟਨਿ ਕੋਟਾਨਿ ਅਹੰਕਾਰ ਅਹੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੁਇ ਰੂਪ ਰਿਪ ਸੰਪੈ ਸੁਖ ਬਲ ਛਲ ਚਾਹਿ ਜੀ ।
