ਦ੍ਰਿਸਟਿ ਦਰਸ ਲਿਵ ਦੇਖੈ ਅਉ ਦਿਖਾਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਸਰਬ ਦਰਸ ਏਕ ਦਰਸ ਕੈ ਜਾਨੀਐ ।
drisatt daras liv dekhai aau dikhaavai soee sarab daras ek daras kai jaaneeai |An obedient disciple of the Guru who has focused his vision in the glimpse of the True Guru, he observes the impermeable Lord everywhere and every place. ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਲਿਵ ਕਹਤ ਸੁਨਤ ਸੋਈ ਸਰਬ ਸਬਦ ਏਕ ਸਬਦ ਕੈ ਮਾਨੀਐ ।
sabad surat liv kahat sunat soee sarab sabad ek sabad kai maaneeai |When a Guru-oriented person acquires the teachings of the True Guru, his mind gets absorbed in the practicing of Lord's Naam Simran. He then speaks and hears the words of the True Guru deep in his soul. He regards all singing modes engrossed in the melody
ਕਾਰਨ ਕਰਨ ਕਰਤਗਿ ਸਰਬਗਿ ਸੋਈ ਕਰਮ ਕ੍ਰਤੂਤਿ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ ਪਹਿਚਾਨੀਐ ।
kaaran karan karatag sarabag soee karam kratoot karataar pahichaaneeai |In this state of immersion in the elixir of Naam, a Guru oriented slave recognises the cause of all causes, the knower of all deeds and capable of knowing all; who is the doer of all the deeds-the Doer and Creator,
ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਗਿਆਨ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਏਕ ਹੀ ਅਨੇਕ ਮੇਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬਿਬੇਕ ਟੇਕ ਏਕੈ ਉਰਿ ਆਨੀਐ ।੩੦੧।
satigur giaan dhiaan ek hee anek mek braham bibek ttek ekai ur aaneeai |301|And thus a Guru-conscious person becomes aware of One God through the knowledge blessed by the True Guru and perpetual contemplation of Him, Such a person leans on none else for support except One All-pervading Lord, (301)
