ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਸਾਧ ਰੂਪ ਰੰਗ ਅੰਗ ਅੰਗ ਛਬਿ ਦੇਹ ਕੈ ਬਿਦੇਹ ਅਉ ਸੰਸਾਰੀ ਨਿਰੰਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ ।
gurasikh saadh roop rang ang ang chhab deh kai bideh aau sansaaree nirankaaree hai |An obedient Sikh of the True Guru becomes divinely of form and complexion. Every limb of his body radiates the glow of the Guru. He becomes free of all external adorations. He acquires celestial traits and gives up worldly characteristics.
ਦਰਸ ਦਰਸਿ ਸਮਦਰਸ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਧਿਆਨ ਸਬਦ ਸੁਰਤਿ ਗੁਰ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਬੀਚਾਰੀ ਹੈ ।
daras daras samadaras braham dhiaan sabad surat gur braham beechaaree hai |By beholding a glimpse of the True Guru, he becomes uniform of behaviour and all knowing. By the union of Guru's words with his mind, he becomes contemplator of the Lord.
ਗੁਰ ਉਪਦੇਸ ਪਰਵੇਸ ਲੇਖ ਕੈ ਅਲੇਖ ਚਰਨ ਸਰਨਿ ਕੈ ਬਿਕਾਰੀ ਉਪਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ ।
gur upades paraves lekh kai alekh charan saran kai bikaaree upakaaree hai |With the acquisition of True Guru's teachings and lodging it in the heart, he is freed from rendering all accounts of his life. By the refuge of the True Guru, he becomes benevolent from vice-ridden.
ਪਰਦਛਨਾ ਕੈ ਬ੍ਰਹਮਾਦਿਕ ਪਰਿਕ੍ਰਮਾਦਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਅਗ੍ਰਭਾਗਿ ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਹੈ ।੨੬੦।
paradachhanaa kai brahamaadik parikramaad pooran braham agrabhaag aagiaakaaree hai |260|The Guru's disciple who becomes obedient of complete Godlike True Guru, and is always at His service; he is respected and sacrificed unto by all the gods just because he has sacrificed himself over his True Guru.
