ਜੈਸੇ ਹੀਰਾ ਹਾਥ ਮੈ ਤਨਕ ਸੋ ਦਿਖਾਈ ਦੇਤ ਮੋਲ ਕੀਏ ਦਮਕਨ ਭਰਤ ਭੰਡਾਰ ਜੀ ।
jaise heeraa haath mai tanak so dikhaaee det mol kee damakan bharat bhanddaar jee |Just as a diamond held in hand seems very small but when evaluated and sold, fills the coffers.
ਜੈਸੇ ਬਰ ਬਾਧੇ ਹੁੰਡੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨ ਭਾਰ ਕਛੁ ਆਗੈ ਜਾਇ ਪਾਈਅਤ ਲਛਮੀ ਅਪਾਰ ਜੀ ।
jaise bar baadhe hunddee laagat na bhaar kachh aagai jaae paaeeat lachhamee apaar jee |Just as a cheque/draft carried on person has no weight but when cashed at the other end yields much money
ਜੈਸੇ ਬਟਿ ਬੀਜ ਅਤਿ ਸੂਖਮ ਸਰੂਪ ਹੋਤ ਬੋਏ ਸੈ ਬਿਬਿਧਿ ਕਰੈ ਬਿਰਖਾ ਬਿਸਥਾਰ ਜੀ ।

taise gur bachan sachan gurasikhan mai jaaneeai mahaatam ge hee hariduaar jee |373|Similar is the significance of the lodging of true Guru's teachings in the hearts of obedient Sikhs of the Guru. This is reckoned only on reaching the divine court of the Lord. (The practitioners of Naam are honoured in His court). (373)
