ਜੈਸੇ ਨਰਪਤਿ ਬਨਿਤਾ ਅਨੇਕ ਬ੍ਯਾਹਤ ਹੈ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਸੁਤ ਜਨਮ ਹ੍ਵੈ ਤਾਂਹੀ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਰਾਜ ਹੈ ।
jaise narapat banitaa anek bayaahat hai jaa ke sut janam hvai taanhee grih raaj hai |Just as a king marries many women, but one who gives birth to a son is honoured with bestowing of kingdom.
ਜੈਸੇ ਦਧ ਬੋਹਥ ਬਹਾਇ ਦੇਤ ਚਹੂੰ ਓਰ ਜੋਈ ਪਾਰ ਪਹੁੰਚੈ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਭ ਕਾਜ ਹੈ ।
jaise dadh bohath bahaae det chahoon or joee paar pahunchai pooran sabh kaaj hai |Just as many ships sail in all directions of the sea, but one that reaches the shore beyond proves profitable.
ਜੈਸੇ ਖਾਨ ਖਨਤ ਅਨੰਤ ਖਨਵਾਰੋ ਖੋਜੈ ਹੀਰਾ ਹਾਥ ਆਵੈ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਤਾਂ ਕੇ ਬਾਜੁ ਬਾਜ ਹੈ ।
jaise khaan khanat anant khanavaaro khojai heeraa haath aavai jaa kai taan ke baaj baaj hai |Just as several mine diggers dig for diamonds, but one who finds a diamond enjoys the celebrations of his find.
ਤੈਸੇ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਨਵਤਨ ਅਉ ਪੁਰਾਤਨ ਪੈ ਜਾਂ ਪਰ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਕਟਾਛ ਤਾਂ ਕੈ ਛਬਿ ਛਾਜ ਹੈ ।੫੬੩।
taise gurasikh navatan aau puraatan pai jaan par kripaa kattaachh taan kai chhab chhaaj hai |563|Similarly, a Sikh of the Guru whether new or old devotee who gets a look of grace of the True Guru, earns honour, glory and praise. (563)
