ਅੰਬਰ ਬੋਚਨ ਜਾਇ ਦੇਸ ਦਿਗੰਬਰਨ ਕੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਨ ਹੋਇ ਲਾਭ ਸਹਸੋ ਹੈ ਮੂਲਿ ਕੋ ।

If a cloth merchant visits a place where everyone lives naked, he is not going to benefit from it. He may lose his principal goods.

ਰਤਨ ਪਰੀਖਿਆ ਸੀਖਿਆ ਚਾਹੈ ਜਉ ਆਂਧਨ ਪੈ ਰੰਕਨ ਪੈ ਰਾਜੁ ਮਾਂਗੈ ਮਿਥਿਆ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਭੂਲ ਕੋ ।

ਗੁੰਗਾ ਪੈ ਪੜਨ ਜਾਇ ਜੋਤਕ ਬੈਦਕ ਬਿਦਿਆ ਬਹਰਾ ਪੈ ਰਾਗ ਨਾਦ ਅਨਿਥਾ ਅਭੂਲਿ ਕੋ ।
