ਜੈਸੇ ਮ੍ਰਿਗਰਾਜ ਤਨ ਜੰਬੁਕ ਅਧੀਨ ਹੋਤ ਖਗ ਪਤ ਸੁਤ ਜਾਇ ਜੁਹਾਰਤ ਕਾਗ ਹੈ ।
jaise mrigaraaj tan janbuk adheen hot khag pat sut jaae juhaarat kaag hai |Just as a cub becomes subservient to a jackal or a Garud (Ardea argala) bows to a crow.
ਜੈਸੇ ਰਾਹ ਕੇਤ ਬਸ ਗ੍ਰਿਹਨ ਮੈ ਸੁਰਿਤਰ ਸੋਭ ਨ ਅਰਕ ਬਨ ਰਵਿ ਸਸਿ ਲਾਗਿ ਹੈ ।
jaise raah ket bas grihan mai suritar sobh na arak ban rav sas laag hai |Just as Sun and Moon resides in the houses of Rahu and Ketu (the two unfriendly mythological demons), or Kalapbrichh the all giving tree of heavens does not fit into the jungle of Calotropis procera.
ਜੈਸੇ ਕਾਮਧੇਨ ਸੁਤ ਸੂਕਰੀ ਸਥਨ ਪਾਨ ਐਰਾਪਤ ਸੁਤ ਗਰਧਬ ਅਗ੍ਰਭਾਗ ਹੈ ।
jaise kaamadhen sut sookaree sathan paan aairaapat sut garadhab agrabhaag hai |Just as a calf of ever milk-yielding cow (Kamdhenu) sucks the teats of a she pig, or the young one of Airawat the elephant of god Inder keeps bowing before a donkey.
ਤੈਸੇ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਸੁਤ ਆਨ ਦੇਵ ਸੇਵਕ ਹੁਇ ਨਿਹਫਲ ਜਨਮੁ ਜਿਉ ਬੰਸ ਮੈ ਬਜਾਗਿ ਹੈ ।੪੭੭।
taise gurasikh sut aan dev sevak hue nihafal janam jiau bans mai bajaag hai |477|Similarly, if son of a Guru's Sikh starts worshipping gods and goddesses, his human birth would be a failure just as a son of two fathers would be in a respectable family. (477)
