ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗੁਰ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਕਹੈ ਸੁ ਥੋਰੀ ਕਥਨੀ ਬਦਨੀ ਬਾਦਿ ਨੇਤ ਨੇਤ ਨੇਤ ਹੈ ।
pooran braham gur mahimaa kahai su thoree kathanee badanee baad net net net hai |How much one may praise the True Guru, the embodiment of the complete God on the Earth, is still not enough. It is futile to say in words because He is infinite, limitless and fathomless.
ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਰਬਮਈ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰੀਐ ਸੁ ਕਾ ਕੀ ਨਮੋ ਨਮੋ ਹੇਤ ਹੈ ।
pooran braham gur pooran sarabamee nindaa kareeai su kaa kee namo namo het hai |True Guru the embodiment of all-pervading Lord is completely manifested in all living beings. Then who should be cursed and slandered? He is worthy of salutation again and again.
ਤਾਹੀ ਤੇ ਬਿਵਰਜਤ ਅਸੁਤਤਿ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਦੋਊ ਅਕਥ ਕਥਾ ਬੀਚਾਰਿ ਮੋਨਿ ਬ੍ਰਤ ਲੇਤ ਹੈ ।
taahee te bivarajat asutat nindaa doaoo akath kathaa beechaar mon brat let hai |And it is for this reason that a Guru-conscious person is forbidden to praise or slander anyone. He remains engrossed in the contemplation of the indescribable True Guru of unique form.
ਬਾਲ ਬੁਧਿ ਸੁਧਿ ਕਰਿ ਦੇਹ ਕੈ ਬਿਦੇਹ ਭਏ ਜੀਵਨ ਮੁਕਤਿ ਗਤਿ ਬਿਸਮ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਹੈ ।੨੬੨।
baal budh sudh kar deh kai bideh bhe jeevan mukat gat bisam suchet hai |262|A disciple of the Guru advances towards the state of living dead by leading a life of childlike innocence and discarding all external adorations. But he is ever alert and conscious of mind in a strange way. (262)
