ਜ਼ਿਕਰਿ ਵਸਫ਼ਸ਼ ਬਰ ਜ਼ੁਬਾਣ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ਲਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ।
zikar vasafash bar zubaan baashad lazeez |The time has come that you should be alert of this truth on time." (61) (1) If you are alive, then offer your heart as a sacrifice for His lotus feet, Present your heart and mind to your Beloved, so that you, yourself, would become a beloved. (61) (2) The journey of love and devotion is extremely long and arduous; it cannot be traversed by walking on foot, We should walk making our head as our feet, so that we can travel on the path towards our Beloved and the trek can be completed. (61) (3) The conversation of each one of us is based upon our perception and knowledge, But you should keep your lips sealed so that you can realize and appreciate the truth about His mysteries. (61) (4) Goyaa says, "I am presenting my infatuated mind for sale on the hope that
ਨਾਮਿ ਊ ਅੰਦਰ ਦਹਾਣ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ਲਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ।੩੪।੧।
naam aoo andar dahaan baashad lazeez |34|1|You, the Guru, with your benevolence, might become its purchaser." (61) (5) O bartender! Kindly put my beloved in the cup of life; the urge to survive, So that I may live to see my beloved's face when I am free from separation. (62) (1) I look for your glimpse in every direction, but in vain O heart! Kindly release me from life so that I can surrender before separation sets in. (62) (2) Everything is futile and every place is void without you, this is so everywhere, Grant me the unity for my worldly heart and eyes that I can see you. (62) (3) Scrape off the dross of sorrow from the mirror of my heart, So that I see only your reflection in it and with it, the terror of separation is ended (62) (4) Goyaa says, "I should be able to see only you and your splendid colors,
ਐ ਜ਼ਹੇ ਸੇਬਿ ਜ਼ਿ ਨਖ਼ਦਾਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਮਾ ।
aai zahe seb zi nakhadaane shumaa |I seek release from tis bondage and the pain of separation. (62 ) (5)
ਮੇਵਾ ਚੂੰ ਦਰ ਬੋਸਤਾਣ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ਲਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ।੩੪।੨।
mevaa choon dar bosataan baashad lazeez |34|2|If you believe in yourself, then no one shall be a non-believer or faithless,
ਚਸ਼ਮਿ ਮਾ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਜ਼ਿ ਦੀਦਾਰਿ ਸ਼ੁਮਾ ਅਸਤ ।
chasham maa rauashan zi deedaar shumaa asat |Times are such that they will demand alertness every moment. (63) (1)
ਜਾਣ ਨਿਸਾਰਿਸ਼ ਬਸਕਿ ਆਣ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ਲਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ।੩੪।੩।
jaan nisaarish basak aan baashad lazeez |34|3|If you have life in you, you should sacrifice it at the feet of the beloved,
ਸੁੰਬਲੇ ਜ਼ੁਲਫ਼ਿ ਤੂ ਦਿਲਿ ਰਾ ਬੁਰਦ ਅਸਤ ।
sunbale zulaf too dil raa burad asat |O heart! You should offer yourself uninhibitingly to your beloved so that you would also be loved. (63) (2)
ਆਣ ਲਬਿ ਲਾਅਲਿ ਤੂ ਜਾਣ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ਲਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ।੩੪।੪।
aan lab laal too jaan baashad lazeez |34|4|Destination of love is too far and long; it cannot be reached using the feet,
ਲੱਜ਼ਤਿ ਗੋਯਾ ਨਹਿ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ਬਿਹ ਅਜ਼ਾਣ ।
lazat goyaa neh baashad bih azaan |Sacrifice your head, make it your feet before you embark on the road to your beloved. (63) (3)
ਹਮਚੂ ਸ਼ਿਅਰੇ ਤੂ ਬ-ਹਿੰਦੁਸਤਾਣ ਲਜ਼ੀਜ਼ ।੩੪।੫।
