ਬ-ਹਰ ਕੁਜਾ ਕਿ ਰਵੀ ਜਾਨਿ ਮਨ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਹਾਫ਼ਿਜ਼ ।
ba-har kujaa ki ravee jaan man khudaa haafiz |The feed of that pious bird is Akaalpurkah's remembrance,
ਬ-ਬੁਰਦਾਈ ਦਿਲਿ ਈਮਾਨਿ ਮਨ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਹਾਫ਼ਿਜ਼ ।੪੫।੧।
ba-buradaaee dil eemaan man khudaa haafiz |45|1|His remembrance, only His meditation, yes only His memory. (58)
ਬਿਆ ਕਿ ਬੁਲਬੁਲੋ ਗੁਲ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਇੰਤਜ਼ਾਰਿ ਤੂ ਅੰਦ ।
biaa ki bulabulo gul har do intazaar too and |Anyone who is (sincerely) devoted to His meditation;
ਦਮੇ ਬਜਾਨਿਬਿ ਬੁਸਤਾਨਿ ਮਨ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਹਾਫ਼ਿਜ਼ ।੪੫।੨।
dame bajaanib busataan man khudaa haafiz |45|2|The dust of his path is like a collyrium for our eyes. (59)
ਨਮਕ ਜ਼ਿ ਲਾਲਿ ਲਬਤ ਰੇਜ਼ ਬਰਦਿਲਿ ਰੇਸ਼ਮ ।
namak zi laal labat rez baradil resham |If you can get attuned to the meditation of Waaheguru,
ਪਸ਼ੀਦ ਜ਼ਿ ਸੀਨਾਇ ਬਿਰੀਆਨਿ ਮਨ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਹਾਫ਼ਿਜ਼ ।੪੫।੩।
pasheed zi seenaae bireeaan man khudaa haafiz |45|3|Then O mind of mine! You should understand that all your difficulties have been solved (solutions to all the problems have been found). (60)
ਚਿ ਖ਼ੁੱਸ਼ ਬਵਦ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਰਾਮਤ ਕੱਦਤ ਚੂ ਸਰਵਿ ਬੁਲੰਦ ।
chi khush bavad ki kharaamat kadat choo sarav buland |The only solution to every predicament is remembering Akaalpurakh;
ਦਮੇ ਬਸੂਇ ਗੁਲਿਸਤਾਨਿ ਮਨ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਹਾਫ਼ਿਜ਼ ।੪੫।੪।
dame basooe gulisataan man khudaa haafiz |45|4|In fact, a rememberer of (the Naam of) Waaheguru conforms himself into the same category as the Waaheguru Himself. (61)
ਬਿਆ ਬ-ਮਰਦਮਕਿ ਦੀਦਾ ਅਮ ਕਿ ਖ਼ਾਨਾਇ ਤੁਸਤ ।
biaa ba-maradamak deedaa am ki khaanaae tusat |In reality, nothing but the Lord Himself is the acceptable Entity;
ਦਰੂਨਿ ਦੀਦਾਇ ਗਿਰੀਆਨਿ ਮਨ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਹਾਫ਼ਿਜ ।੪੫।੫।
daroon deedaae gireeaan man khudaa haafij |45|5|O my mind! Who is such a person that does not reflect the radiance of Akaalpurakh from head to toes? (62)
