ਮੁਸ਼ਤਿ ਖ਼ਾਕਿ ਦਰਗਹਿ ਊ ਕੀਮੀਆ ਗਰ ਮੀ ਕੁਨਦ ।
mushat khaak darageh aoo keemeea gar mee kunad |My eyelids do not need any type of collyrium for existence,
ਹਰ ਗ਼ਦਾ ਰਾ ਬਾਦਸ਼ਾਹਿ ਹਫ਼ਤ-ਕਿਸ਼ਵਰ ਮੀ ਕੁਨਦ ।੩੧।੧।
har gadaa raa baadashaeh hafata-kishavar mee kunad |31|1|Because, I have always considered the dust of the path traversed by God's men as the apt collyrium.” (54) (2)
ਖ਼ਾਕਿ ਦਰਗਾਹਿ ਤੂ ਸਦ ਤਾਜ ਅਸਤ ਬਹਿਰਿ ਫ਼ਰਕਿ ਮਨ ।
khaak daragaeh too sad taaj asat bahir farak man |We prostrate our head on the ground in prayers every moment and breath,
ਆਸੀਅਮ ਗਰ ਦਿਲ ਹਵਾਏ ਤਾਜੋ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਮੂ ਕੁਨਦ ।੩੧।੨।
aaseeam gar dil havaae taajo afasar moo kunad |31|2|Because, we have considered the face of our beloved reflecting the refulgence of Almighty. (54) (3)
ਕੀਮੀਆਗਰ ਗਰ ਜ਼ਿ ਮਿਸ ਸਾਜ਼ਦ ਤੀਲਾਇ ਦੂਰ ਨੀਸਤ ।
keemeeaagar gar zi mis saazad teelaae door neesat |God's holy men, the saints, have bestowed the kingdoms to the worldly kings,
ਤਾਲਿਬਿ ਹੱਕ ਖ਼ਾਕ ਰਾ ਖ਼ੁਰਸ਼ੀਦਿ ਅਨਵਰ ਮੀ ਕੁਨਦ ।੩੧।੩।
taalib hak khaak raa khurasheed anavar mee kunad |31|3|That is why I consider the noble souls (even lowly mendicants) in the street (abode) of my Beloved (Guru) as the kings (54) (4)
ਸੁਹਬਤਿ ਆਰਫ਼ ਮੁਯੱਸਰ ਗਰ ਸ਼ਵਦ ਈਂ ਅਜਬ ਦਾਂਅ ।
suhabat aaraf muyasar gar shavad een ajab daana |Goyaa says, "I have absolutely no desire or value for wealth and property, O Guru! Because, I have considered a shadow of a lock of your hair as the feather of Humaa, the Phoenix, the mythical bird whose shadow is supposed to bring luck." (54) (5)
ਈਂ ਤਨਤ ਰਾ ਤਾਲਬਿ ਹੱਕ ਸ਼ੌਕਿ ਅਕਬਰ ਮੇ ਕੁਨਦ ।੩੧।੪।
een tanat raa taalab hak shauak akabar me kunad |31|4|I have perceived the heart-abductor in the eyelids of the man of vision,
ਸ਼ਿਅਰਿ ਗੋਯਾ ਹਰ ਕਸੇ ਕੂ ਬਿਸ਼ਨਵਦ ਅਜ਼ ਜਾਨੋ ਦਿਲ ।
shiar goyaa har kase koo bishanavad az jaano dil |Then, wherever I cast a glance, I could only see my beloved Guru." (55) (1) I have circumambulated both the places, the Kaabaa and the temple, I have not seen any one other than You anywhere." (55) (2)
ਕੈ ਦਿਲਸ਼ ਪਰਵਾਏ ਲਾਅਲਿ ਦੁਕਾਨਿ ਗੌਹਰ ਮੀ ਕੁਨਦ ।੩੧।੫।
kai dilash paravaae laal dukaan gauahar mee kunad |31|5|Wherever and whenever I saw with eyes of search and concentration,
