ਕਦਮ ਆਣ ਬਿਹ ਕਿ ਊ ਰਾਹਿ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਪੈਮੂਦਾ ਮੀ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ।
kadam aan bih ki aoo raeh khudaa paimoodaa mee baashad |

Would visit my garden for a walk even for a moment! May the Providence be your Protector wherever you choose to be! (45) (4)

ਜ਼ਬਾਨੇ ਬਿਹ ਕਿ ਦਰ ਜ਼ਿਕਰਿ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਆਸੂਦਾ ਮੀ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ।੨੬।੧।
zabaane bih ki dar zikar khudaa aasoodaa mee baashad |26|1|

Goyaa says, "Kindly come! Come and abide in the pupils of my eyes, Because, your abode happens to be within my crying tearful eyes. May God be with you."(45)(5)

ਬਹਰ ਸੂਇ ਕਿ ਮੀ-ਬੀਨਮ ਬ ਚਸ਼ਮਮ ਮਾਸਵਾ ਨਾਇਦ ।
bahar sooe ki mee-beenam b chashamam maasavaa naaeid |

O Guru! Your face is the reason for the brightness and glamor of the lamp,

ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਨਕਬਿ ਊ ਦਰ ਦੀਦਾਇ ਮਾ ਬੂਦਾ ਮੀ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ।੨੬।੨।
hameshaa nakab aoo dar deedaae maa boodaa mee baashad |26|2|

And, it is because of you, that the pearl-showering eyes of the (candle) lamp is shedding tears." (46) (1) When you secret qualities became known, The wounded delicate heart of the lamp was shedding tears. (46) (2) Wherever the people have lit a lamp, Consider that to be a floweer of the lamp's garden. (46) (3) Since the time, you have shown the elegance of your face, The candle lamp, out of endearment, is offering itself as a sacrifice for you hundreds of times. (46) (4) In order to sacrifice themselves hundred times for your elegant face, The tearful eyes of the candle lamp are pouring their life. (46) (5) You did not show up tonight when the light of candle had intense expectation of your arrival, Then the fire-sprinkling eye of the lamp burned down the entire gala assembly.” (46) (6) Goyaa says, "How wonderful and unusual is the sight in the early morning,

ਜ਼ ਫ਼ੈਜ਼ਿ ਮੁਰਸ਼ਦਿ ਕਾਮਿਲ ਮਰਾ ਮਾਅਲੂਮ ਸ਼ੁਦ ਆਖ਼ਿਰ ।
z faiz murashad kaamil maraa maaloom shud aakhir |

When the whole world is sleeping but the sleeping lamp alone is absolutely awake." (46) (7) O bartender ! Please get up and fill up the glass of my drink, So that, with it, I can change the complexion of my thought and brain into a colorful one." (47) (1)

ਕਿ ਦਾਇਮ ਮੁਰਦਮਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਗ਼ਮ-ਆਲੂਦਾ ਮੀ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ।੨੬।੩।
ki daaeim muradam duneea gama-aaloodaa mee baashad |26|3|

The noose of your lock of hair captured my heart and blew it away.

ਜ਼ਹੇ ਸਾਹਿਬਦਿਲਿ ਰੌਸ਼ਨ ਜ਼ਮੀਰਿ ਆਰਿਫ਼ਿ ਕਾਮਿਲ ।
zahe saahibadil rauashan zameer aarif kaamil |

I was searching the same message of truth in each curl twist by twist." (47) (2) This body of dust is the interplay of fire and water, You can relay your light from your own candle. (47) (3) From the radiant rays of Your chaste glimpse, Hundreds and thousands of lamps were lighted every where. (47) (4) O Goyaa! "You should always remember Him, and meditate only on His Naam.

ਕਿਹ ਬਰ ਦਰਗਾਹਿ ਹੱਕ ਪੇਸ਼ਾਨੀਇ ਊ ਸੂਦਾ ਮੀ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ।੨੬।੪।
kih bar daragaeh hak peshaanee aoo soodaa mee baashad |26|4|

So that you could be redeemed and free from the worries here and the hereafter." (47) (5) If, in the interest of your love for your Beloved, you can cleanse your mind of the (five) vices without any doubt or suspicion, Then, without any exaggeration, you will find your real self soon. (48) (1) We have been driven farther away from the Almighty due to our egos; Therefore, get rid of your vanity; do not be driven by the whims of your mind, then you can see clearly the Reality, the Beneficient. (48) (2) The real lovers (of God) are always imbued in His love, O you bragger! Do not boast before them about love and devotion. (48) (3) You should give up the sensual pleasures of all the five sense organs, So that you could really taste the savor of a clean glass of holy elixir. (48) (4) Goyaa says, "We should always be seeking and on the look out for the path of our Satguru,

ਬ-ਕੁਰਬਾਨੀ ਸਰਿ ਕੂਇ ਬਿਗ਼ਰਦ ਵ ਦਮ ਮਜ਼ਨ ਗੋਯਾ ।
ba-kurabaanee sar kooe bigarad v dam mazan goyaa |

So that, by traversing in the opposite direction, we may not lose our way; we can be redeemed from (the sin of) double-mindedness and dilemma. (48) (5)

ਇਸ਼ਾਰਤਹਾਇ ਚਸ਼ਮਿ ਊ ਮਰਾ ਫ਼ਰਮੂਦਾ ਮੀ ਬਾਸ਼ਦ ।੨੬।੫।
eishaaratahaae chasham aoo maraa faramoodaa mee baashad |26|5|

When His (Guru's) arrival time came closer, I lost control of the reins of the pains of separation,
