ਬਿਆ ਐ ਸਾਕੀਏ ਰੰਗੀਨ ਜ਼ਿ ਮੈ ਪੁਰ ਕੁਨ ਅੱਯਾਗ਼ ਈਂਜਾ ।
biaa aai saakee rangeen zi mai pur kun ayaag eenjaa |The captive of the ecstasy of the love of your burgeoning hair is not just looking for resurrection. (7) (3)
ਨਸ਼ਾਇ ਲਾਅਲ ਮੈ-ਗੂਨਤ ਜ਼ਿ ਹੱਕ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ਦ ਸੁਰਾਗ ਈਣਜਾ ।੧।
nashaae laal mai-goonat zi hak bakhashad suraag eenajaa |1|Which is that eye that does not have the glow of Your glory?
ਅਨਲ-ਹੱਕ ਅਜ਼ ਲਬਿ ਮਨਸੂਰ ਗਰ ਚੂੰ ਸ਼ੀਸ਼ਾ ਕੁਲਕੁਲ ਕਰਦ ।
anala-hak az lab manasoor gar choon sheeshaa kulakul karad |Which is that body (chest) that doesn't have godly treasures in it? (7) (4)
ਕਿਹ ਆਰਦ ਤਾਬਿ ਈਂ ਸਹਬਾ ਕੁਜਾ ਜਾਮਿ ਦਿਮਾਗ ਈਂਜਾ ।੨।
kih aarad taab een sahabaa kujaa jaam dimaag eenjaa |2|Goyaa says, "Do not hesitate or make excuses but sacrifice yourself for Him, Because in the vocabulary of lovers (of true devotees), there is no word like 'excuse'." (7) (5)
ਜਹਾਣ ਤਾਰੀਕ ਸ਼ੁਦ ਜਾਨਾਣ ਬਰ ਅਫ਼ਰੂਜ਼ ਈਣ ਕੱਦਿ ਰਾਅਨਾ ।
jahaan taareek shud jaanaan bar afarooz een kad raanaa |A non-compassionate cruel beloved passed through before my eyes;
ਨੁਮਾ ਰੁਖ਼ਸਾਰਾਇ ਤਾਬਾਣ ਕਿ ਮੀ-ਬਾਇਦ ਚਰਾਗ਼ ਈਣ ਜਾ ।੩।
numaa rukhasaaraae taabaan ki mee-baaeid charaag een jaa |3|As the beloved went through, it was as if my life (heart and soul) passed away through my eyes. (8) (1)
ਬੱਈਣ ਯੱਕ-ਦਮ ਕਿ ਯਾਦ ਆਇਦ ਤਵਾਂ ਉਮਰੇ ਬਸਰ ਬੁਰਦਨ ।
baeen yaka-dam ki yaad aaeid tavaan umare basar buradan |The smoke from my continued sighs rose high and deep through the sky,
ਅਗਰ ਯਕਦਮ ਕਸੇ ਬਾਇਦ ਬਸ਼ੌਕਿ ਹੱਕ ਫ਼ਰਾਗ ਈਂਜਾ ।੪।
agar yakadam kase baaeid bashauak hak faraag eenjaa |4|That they changed its very complexion into teal-blue color and charred its heart. (8) (2)
ਦੋ ਚਸ਼ਮਿ ਮਨ ਕਿ ਦਰਯਾਇ ਅਜ਼ੀਮੁੱਸ਼ਾਣ ਬਵਦ ਗੋਯਾ ।
do chasham man ki darayaae azeemushaan bavad goyaa |With one pointer with his eyebrows, he simply (metaphorically) murdered (martyred) us,
ਜ਼ਿ ਹਰ ਅਸ਼ਕਮ ਬਵਦ ਸ਼ਾਦਾਬੀਇ ਸਦ ਬਾਗ਼ ਬਾਗ਼ ਈਣਜਾ ।੫।੪।
zi har ashakam bavad shaadaabee sad baag baag eenajaa |5|4|But there is no treatment now when the arrow has been shot from the bow. (8) (3)
