ਮਸਤ ਰਾ ਬਾ-ਜਾਮਿ ਰੰਗੀਣ ਇਹਤਿਆਜ ।

masat raa baa-jaam rangeen ihatiaaj |

who is crazy for your divine face in exchange for the whole world? (25) (5)

ਤਿਸ਼ਨਾ ਰਾ ਬ-ਆਬਿ ਸੀਰੀਣ ਇਹਤਿਆਜ ।੧੬।੧।

tishanaa raa ba-aab seereen ihatiaaj |16|1|

You are the light of my eyes and are abiding in them. Then whom am I looking for?

ਸੁਹਬਤਿ ਮਰਦਾਨਿ-ਹੱਕ ਬਸ ਅਨਵਰ ਅਸਤ ।

suhabat maradaani-hak bas anavar asat |

What would be the harm if you could emerge out of the invisible veil and show me your beautiful face? (25) (6)

ਤਾਲਿਬਾਣ ਰਾ ਹਸਤ ਚਦੀਣ ਇਹਤਿਆਜ ।੧੬।੨।

taalibaan raa hasat chadeen ihatiaaj |16|2|

Goyaa says, "I am lost on your trail and am trying to look for you (the Guru) in every nook and corner, What would you lose if you were to direct this strayed and lost person towards the right path." (25) (7)

ਅਜ਼ ਤਬੱਸੁਮ ਕਰਦਾਈ ਗੁਲਸ਼ਨ ਜਹਾਂ ।

az tabasum karadaaee gulashan jahaan |

A footstep taken towards the path of Truth is a worthwhile one,

ਹਰ ਕਿ ਦੀਦਸ਼ ਕੈ ਬ-ਗੁਲਚੀਂ ਇਹਤਿਆਜ ।੧੬।੩।

har ki deedash kai ba-gulacheen ihatiaaj |16|3|

And the tongue that invokes and savors the meditation of His Naam is blessed. (26) (1)

ਯੱਕ ਨਿਗਾਹਿ ਲੁਤਫ਼ਿ ਤੂ ਦਿਲ ਮੀ-ਬੁਰਦ ।

yak nigaeh lutaf too dil mee-burad |

Whenever and wherever I look, nothing penetrates into my eyes,

ਬਾਜ਼ ਮੀ-ਦਾਰਮ ਅਜ਼ਾਣ ਈਣ ਇਹਤਿਆਜ ।੧੬।੪।

baaz mee-daaram azaan een ihatiaaj |16|4|

In fact, it is His features and impressions which pervade and are imprinted into my eyes all the times. (26) (2)

ਨੀਸਤ ਗੋਯਾ ਗ਼ਰਿ ਤੂ ਦਰ ਦੋ ਜਹਾਣ ।

neesat goyaa gar too dar do jahaan |

It is the blessing of a complete and true Guru that made me aware (of this reality),

ਬਾ ਤੂ ਦਾਰਮ ਅਜ਼ ਦਿਲੋ ਦੀਣ ਇਹਤਿਆਜ ।੧੬।੫।

baa too daaram az dilo deen ihatiaaj |16|5|

That the worldly people are inseparable from sorrows and worries. (26) (3)
