ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਤਖ਼ਤਿ ਮੁਰੱਸਾ ਫ਼ਤਾਦਾ ਦਰ ਰਹਿ ਅੰਦ ।
hazaar takhat murasaa fataadaa dar reh and |and what transpired in my mind after this is a sad story; (49) (1)
ਕਲੰਦਰਾਨਿ ਤੂ ਤਾਜੋ ਨਗੀਂ ਨਮੀ ਖ਼ਾਹੰਦ ।੨੭।੧।
kalandaraan too taajo nageen namee khaahand |27|1|There is no one else in my eyes and eyebrows except you, the Guru,
ਫ਼ਨਾਹ ਪਜ਼ੀਰ ਬਵਦ ਹਰ ਚਿ ਹਸਤ ਦਰ ਆਲਮ ।
fanaah pazeer bavad har chi hasat dar aalam |That is why I did not any sign of separation, except myself. (49) (2)
ਨਹਿ ਆਸ਼ਕਾਣ ਕਿ ਅਜ਼ ਅਸਰਾਰਿ ਇਸ਼ਕ ਆਗਾਹ ਅੰਦ ।੨੭।੨।
neh aashakaan ki az asaraar ishak aagaah and |27|2|The (pains of) 'separation' has not yet realized the (euphoria of) 'meeting',
ਤਮਾਮ ਚਸ਼ਮ ਤਵਾਣ ਸ਼ੁਦ ਪੈਇ ਨੱਜ਼ਰਾਇ ਊ ।
tamaam chasham tavaan shud paie nazaraae aoo |I have been hearing stories about 'oneness and meeting' from 'separation'. (49) (3)
ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਸੀਨਾ ਬਿ ਸੌਦਾਇ ਹਿਜਰ ਮੀਕਾਹੰਦ ।੨੭।੩।
hazaar seenaa bi sauadaae hijar meekaahand |27|3|Ever since your 'separation' stoked such a fire in my heart, flaring it up
ਤਮਾਮ ਦੌਲਤਿ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਬ-ਯੱਕ ਨਿਗਾਹ ਬਖ਼ਸ਼ੰਦ ।
tamaam daualat duneea ba-yak nigaah bakhashand |That my wails and supplications fell on the abode of 'separation' (like a lightening) and burnt it down to ashes. (49) (4)
ਯਕੀਣ ਬਿਦਾਣ ਕਿ ਗਦਾਯਾਨਿ ਊ ਸ਼ਹਿਨਸ਼ਾਹ ਅੰਦ ।੨੭।੪।
yakeen bidaan ki gadaayaan aoo shahinashaah and |27|4|Disunion from you has put Goyaa in such an unusual state of mind
ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਸੁਹਬਤਿ ਮਰਦਾਨਿ ਹੱਕ ਤਲਬ ਗੋਯਾ ।
hameshaa suhabat maradaan hak talab goyaa |that he has related this painful saga continuously so many times that there is no count to it and my thought stands still. (49) (5)
ਕਿ ਤਾਲਬਾਨਿ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਵਾਸਲਾਨਿ ਅੱਲਾਹ ਅੰਦ ।੨੭।੫।
