ਬਹੋਸ਼ ਬਾਸ਼ ਕਿ ਹੰਗਾਮਿ ਨੌਬਹਾਰ ਆਮਦ ।
bahosh baash ki hangaam nauabahaar aamad |

The heart and the beloved are so much intertwined with each other,

ਬਹਾਰ ਆਮਦ ਵਾ ਯਾਰ ਵਾ ਕਰਾਰ ਆਮਦ ।੧੯।੧।
bahaar aamad vaa yaar vaa karaar aamad |19|1|

That this is the reason that it always keeps running towards (seeking) the latter. (28) (4)

ਦਰੂਨਿ ਮਰਦੁਮਿ ਚਸ਼ਮ ਜ਼ਿ ਬਸ ਕਿ ਜਲਵਾ ਗਰਸਤ ।
daroon maradum chasham zi bas ki jalavaa garasat |

Any one who rushes towards the crucifix like Mansoor

ਬਹਰ ਤਰਫ਼ ਕਿ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਦ ਰੂਇ ਯਾਰ ਆਮਦ ।੧੯।੨।
bahar taraf ki nazar karad rooe yaar aamad |19|2|

Will have his neck and head high with pride in both the worlds. (29) (5)

ਬ-ਹਰ ਤਰਫ਼ ਕਿ ਰਵਦ ਦੀਦਾ ਮੀਰਵਮ ਚਿ ਕੁਨਮ ।
ba-har taraf ki ravad deedaa meeravam chi kunam |

Goyaa says, "I have found the real life in the remembrance of my beloved, Why should I now have any reason to visit the tavern or the pub?" (29) (6)

ਦਰੀਣ ਮੁਕੱਦਮਾ ਮਾ ਰਾ ਚਿਹ ਅਖ਼ਤਿਆਰ ਆਮਦ ।੧੯।੩।
dareen mukadamaa maa raa chih akhatiaar aamad |19|3|

Is there someone today who is madly in love for a glimpse of his beloved?

ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦਿਹੰਦ ਬ-ਯਾਰਾਨਿ ਮੁਦੱਈ ਕਿ ਇਮਸ਼ਬ ।
khabar dihand ba-yaaraan mudaee ki imashab |

Anyone who has a true friend (beloved) in this world is a king. (29) (1)

ਅਨਲਹੱਕ ਜ਼ਦਾ ਮਨਸੂਰ ਸੂਇ ਦਾਰ ਆਮਦ ।੧੯।੪।
analahak zadaa manasoor sooe daar aamad |19|4|

O lively lover ! I know that you will be involved in making the two worlds bleed,

ਖ਼ਬਰ ਦਿਹੇਦ ਬ-ਗੁਲਹਾ ਕਿ ਬਿਸ਼ਗੁਫ਼ੰਦ ਹਮਾ ।
khabar dihed ba-gulahaa ki bishagufand hamaa |

Because your intoxicated and charming eye is full of alcoholic drink today (metaphorically)." (29) (2) The blood from my heart has reddened my eyelids (like a wounded lover), Showing that a strange spring has sprung up in my mad heart due to intense love. (29) (3) Any one, like Manssor, who has achieved even a shadow of the scaffold or crucifix, Would never have any desire either for the heavens or for the shade of the heavenly tree. (29) (4) O flame of the lamp! Keep your rose-like red-flowered face lit for a little while, Because the moth and the nightingale have some business with you. (29) (5) Goyaa says, "Although chains are made to strangle every madly-in-love person,

ਅਜ਼ੀਣ ਨਵੇਦ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਾਣ ਬੁਲਬੁਲ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਆਮਦ ।੧੯।੫।
azeen naved ki zaan bulabul hazaar aamad |19|5|

Yet my heart is being choked in the noose of (Guru's) lock of hair." (29) (6) No one listens nor cares for the plight of the poor travelers. However, I have attained a stage where even the kings failed to reach.” (30) (1) (The true devotees) will not purchase even thousands of lofty heavens for just a grain or two of barley, Because none of these heavens are capable to lead me to the abode of my Beloved. (30) (2) It is said, according to the doctor of love, that no one, except the Waaheguru, knows the pain and suffering of separation. No one listens to the sad stories of the destitute (has a cure to their pains and sorrows). (30) (3) If you want to see the light for your eyes of your heart, then understand, That no better collyrium than the dust of the foyer of the Beloved. (30) (4) A person should spend his whole life in the memory of his Beloved, Because, there is no other medicine compared to this treatment. (30) (5) I wish I could sacrifice the entire wealth of this world and my life itself for Him, (He is such an Entity) that unless I do so and surrener completely, I cannot reach Him, the destination." (30) (6)

ਜ਼ਬਾਣ ਬ-ਮਾਣਦ ਜ਼ਿ ਗ਼ੈਰਤ ਜੁਦਾ ਵ ਮਨ ਹੈਰਾਣ ।
zabaan ba-maanad zi gairat judaa v man hairaan |

Goyaa says, "I am willing to sacrifice myself for the dust of His threshhold, Because, unless I do so, I can never attain my goal. It is impossible to reach Him without complete humility." (30) (7)

ਹਦੀਸ ਸ਼ੋਕਿ ਤੋ ਅਜ਼ ਬਸ ਕਿ ਬੇ-ਸ਼ੁਮਾਰ ਆਮਦ ।੧੯।੬।

Although a handful of dust of Akaalpurakh's abode can make a healing drug,

ਖ਼ਿਆਲਿ ਹਲਕਾਇ ਜ਼ੁਲਫ਼ਿ ਤੂ ਮੀ-ਕੁਨਦ ਗੋਯਾ ।
khiaal halakaae zulaf too mee-kunad goyaa |

It can also elevate every mendicant to be the king of seven countries. (31) (1)

ਅਜ਼ੀਣ ਸਬੱਬ ਕਿ ਦਿਲ ਅਜ਼ ਸ਼ੌਕ ਬੇ-ਕਰਾਰ ਆਮਦ ।੧੯।੭।
azeen sabab ki dil az shauak be-karaar aamad |19|7|

The dust of Your court shines the forehead like hundereds of crown jewels,
