ਅਜ਼ ਦੇ ਚਸ਼ਮਿ ਮਸਤੋ ਸ਼ੈਦਾ ਅਲਗ਼ਿਆਸ ।
az de chasham masato shaidaa alagiaas |My thirsty lips are yearning for the elixir coming out of your lips,
ਅਜ਼ ਲਬੋ ਦਹਨਿ ਸ਼ਕਰਖਾ ਅਲ-ਗ਼ਿਆਸ ।੧੫।੧।
az labo dahan shakarakhaa ala-giaas |15|1|I cannot be satisfied either by eternity-bestowing Khizar or dead-reviving Maseehaa." (24) (2) I am stricken with such a heart ailment that doesn't have any cure. I will be not be cured and be comfortable until I surrender my life." (24) (3)
ਵਾਏ ਬਰ ਨਫ਼ਸੇ ਕਿ ਬੇਹੂਦਾ ਗੁਜ਼ਸ਼ਤ ।
vaae bar nafase ki behoodaa guzashat |I said, I can give my life for just a single glimpse of yours." He responded, "We cannot have a deal between us on these terms." (24) (4) My mind is twisted under the yearning for the locks of hair of the moon-like beautiful and serene personality, I realize this. However, no one except you, the Guru, can unravel these knots. (24) (5) Until our eyes become an ocean (full of tears) in your remembrance, We cannot be aware of the intended sense of much smaller limits of even a river-bank. (24) (6) Goyaa says, "My eyes have become pale and blind waiting for your arrival,in expectation of seeing you,
ਅਲਗ਼ਿਆਸ ਅਜ਼ ਗ਼ਫਲਤਿ ਮਾ ਅਲਗ਼ਿਆਸ ।੧੫।੨।
alagiaas az gafalat maa alagiaas |15|2|What can I do? No one else can give me any solace and console me." (24) (7) What would happen if you would show your full-moon-like gracious face? O my beloved! There would be just no cause of any damage if you would kindly show your face tonight." (25) (1)
ਅਜ਼ ਨਿਜ਼ਾਇ ਕੁਫ਼ਰੋ ਦੀਣ ਦਿਲ ਬਰਹਮ ਅਸਤ ।
az nizaae kufaro deen dil baraham asat |The whole world is enchanted and captivated with just one lock of your hair.
ਬਰ ਦਰਿ ਦਰਗਾਹਿ ਮੌਲਾ ਅਲਗ਼ਿਆਸ ।੧੫।੩।
bar dar daragaeh maualaa alagiaas |15|3|What would you lose and what would be the harm if you would open this mystery (knot) just for one moment? (25) (2)
ਲੂਲੀਆਨਿ ਸ਼ੋਖਿ ਆਲਮ ਦਰ ਰਬੂਦ ।
looleeaan shokh aalam dar rabood |The entire world fell into darkness without you,
ਮੀ ਕੁਨਮ ਅਜ਼ ਦਸਤਿ ਆਣਹਾ ਅਲਗ਼ਿਆਸ ।੧੫।੪।
mee kunam az dasat aanahaa alagiaas |15|4|What would you lose if you were to come out like the sun? (25) (3)
ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿ ਦਸਤਿ ਖ਼ੰਜਰਿ ਮਿਜ਼ਗ਼ਾਨਿ ਊ ।
ki zi dasat khanjar mizagaan aoo |Goyaa says: "Kindly come even for a moment and make my eyes your abode. O you, the enticer of my heart! What would be the harm if you were to abide in my eyes just for a short time?" (25) (4)
ਮੀ ਸ਼ਵਦ ਖ਼ਾਮੋਸ਼ ਗੋਯਾ ਅਲਗ਼ਿਆਸ ।੧੫।੫।
