ਦਰੂੰ ਮਰਦਮੁਕਿ ਦੀਦਾ ਦਿਲਰੁਬਾ ਦੀਦਮ ।
daroon maradamuk deedaa dilarubaa deedam |And, it is only with a real devotion for Him that one gets eternal bliss. (221)
ਬਹਰ ਤਰਫ਼ ਕਿ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਦਮ ਆਸ਼ਨਾ ਦੀਦਮ ।੫੫।੧।
bahar taraf ki nazar karadam aashanaa deedam |55|1|Under the influence of Akaalpurakh, (Accepting the Will of Waaheguru) he enjoys eclat and honors;
ਬ-ਗਿਰਦਿ ਕਾਬਾ ਓ ਬੁਤਖ਼ਾਨਾ ਹਰ ਦੋ ਗਰਦੀਦਮ ।
ba-girad kaabaa o butakhaanaa har do garadeedam |We, under the influence of meditation, have sought his (His) shelter and refuge. (222)
ਦਿਗ਼ਰ ਨ-ਯਾਫ਼ਤਮ ਆਂ ਜਾ ਹਮੀਂ ਤੁਰਾ ਦੀਦਮ ।੫੫।੨।
digar na-yaafatam aan jaa hameen turaa deedam |55|2|Accepting Waaheguru's Will, he is the king of the world and his command prevails all over;
ਬ-ਹਰ ਕੁਜਾ ਕਿ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਕਰਦਮ ਅਜ਼ ਰਹਿ ਤਹਕੀਕ ।
ba-har kujaa ki nazar karadam az reh tahakeek |We, under the influence of meditation, are just beggars before him. (223)
ਵਲੇ ਬ-ਖ਼ਾਨਾ-ਇ ਦਿਲ ਖ਼ਾਨਂ-ਇ ਖ਼ੁਦਾ ਦੀਦਮ ।੫੫।੩।
vale ba-khaanaa-e dil khaanan-e khudaa deedam |55|3|He, while imbued in accepting Master's Will, keeps a close watch on us;
ਗਦਾਈ ਕਰਦਨਿ ਕੂਇ ਤੂ ਬਿਹ ਜ਼ਿ ਸੁਲਤਾਨੀਸਤ ।
gadaaee karadan kooe too bih zi sulataaneesat |And, one can get to know him only through meditation. (224)
ਖ਼ਿਲਾਫ਼ਤਿ ਦੋ ਜਹਾਣ ਤਰਕਿ ਮੁਦਆ ਦੀਦਮ ।੫੫।੪।
khilaafat do jahaan tarak mudaa deedam |55|4|They kept looking for such a treasure for ages;
ਮਰਾ ਜ਼ਿ ਰੂਜ਼ਿ ਅਜ਼ਲ ਆਮਦ ਈਣ ਨਿਦਾ ਗੋਯਾ ।
maraa zi rooz azal aamad een nidaa goyaa |They were anxiously desirous of such a company for years. (225)
ਕਿ ਇੰਤਹਾਇ ਜਹਾਣ ਰਾ ਦਰ ਇਬਤਦਾ ਦੀਦਮ ।੫੫।੫।
ki intahaae jahaan raa dar ibatadaa deedam |55|5|Anyone who was fortunate enough to attain even an atomic particle of such a wealth,
