ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜਪੈ ਸਗਲ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ॥੪॥
naanak braham giaanee japai sagal sansaar |4|O Nanak, through the God-conscious being, the whole world meditates on God. ||4||
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਏਕੈ ਰੰਗ ॥
braham giaanee kai ekai rang |The God-conscious being loves the One Lord alone.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਬਸੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੰਗ ॥
braham giaanee kai basai prabh sang |The God-conscious being dwells with God.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥
braham giaanee kai naam aadhaar |The God-conscious being takes the Naam as his Support.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਰਵਾਰੁ ॥
braham giaanee kai naam paravaar |The God-conscious being has the Naam as his Family.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸਦਾ ਸਦ ਜਾਗਤ ॥
braham giaanee sadaa sad jaagat |The God-conscious being is awake and aware, forever and ever.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਅਹੰਬੁਧਿ ਤਿਆਗਤ ॥
braham giaanee ahanbudh tiaagat |The God-conscious being renounces his proud ego.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦ ॥
braham giaanee kai man paramaanand |In the mind of the God-conscious being, there is supreme bliss.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਘਰਿ ਸਦਾ ਅਨੰਦ ॥
braham giaanee kai ghar sadaa anand |In the home of the God-conscious being, there is everlasting bliss.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਸੁਖ ਸਹਜ ਨਿਵਾਸ ॥
braham giaanee sukh sahaj nivaas |The God-conscious being dwells in peaceful ease.
ਨਾਨਕ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਨਹੀ ਬਿਨਾਸ ॥੫॥
naanak braham giaanee kaa nahee binaas |5|O Nanak, the God-conscious being shall never perish. ||5||
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਕਾ ਬੇਤਾ ॥
braham giaanee braham kaa betaa |The God-conscious being knows God.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਏਕ ਸੰਗਿ ਹੇਤਾ ॥
braham giaanee ek sang hetaa |The God-conscious being is in love with the One alone.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕੈ ਹੋਇ ਅਚਿੰਤ ॥
braham giaanee kai hoe achint |The God-conscious being is carefree.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਮੰਤ ॥
braham giaanee kaa niramal mant |Pure are the Teachings of the God-conscious being.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਕਰੈ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਿ ॥
braham giaanee jis karai prabh aap |The God-conscious being is made so by God Himself.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਬਡ ਪਰਤਾਪ ॥
braham giaanee kaa badd parataap |The God-conscious being is gloriously great.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਾ ਦਰਸੁ ਬਡਭਾਗੀ ਪਾਈਐ ॥
braham giaanee kaa daras baddabhaagee paaeeai |The Darshan, the Blessed Vision of the God-conscious being, is obtained by great good fortune.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈਐ ॥
braham giaanee kau bal bal jaaeeai |To the God-conscious being, I make my life a sacrifice.
ਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਗਿਆਨੀ ਕਉ ਖੋਜਹਿ ਮਹੇਸੁਰ ॥
braham giaanee kau khojeh mahesur |The God-conscious being is sought by the great god Shiva.
